"Scam - Charged me twice, then ghosted me"

What do you dislike about ACCESS Newswire?

I paid for a press release in June, but they weren’t able to publish it, which I understood. However, instead of refunding me, they said the payment would remain as a credit for my next press release. That was fine with me.

At the end of September, I finally published a new press release, assuming it would be covered by the credit from June. But a few days later, I noticed that my credit card had been charged again. I figured it was a mistake and contacted support to request a refund.

It took them several days to respond, which was frustrating. When they finally did, they asked me to provide screenshots, which I did. After that, they completely stopped responding. I’ve followed up multiple times and even reached out to different support contacts, but never got a reply.

In the end, they charged me twice and ignored all my support requests. I feel like I got scammed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately, our overall experience has been very poor:

Response times are extremely slow, and in many cases, we don’t get any reply at all.

If we request even small edits or corrections, they refuse to make changes.

Policies and pricing keep changing randomly without any prior communication.

Their system has glitches, and customer concerns are often ignored.
