The office closed down, they team did not have an editorial group to review anything (Business Wire has an editorial team that proof reads all press releases). Billing was very tangled and a client i referred was growing frustrated. The staff does not seem as trained or polished as some of the other providers. Access Newswire is very easy to use - incredibly straightforward with little learning curve, which is great when you work in PR (fast paced!). I have used most every wire service in the course of my career on behalf of my clients. Access Newswire's distribution is highly competitive, for a much more reasonable cost. They make it easy by offering unlimited word counts and multi media within the pricing structure. Reporting is easy to access.

While all of this is important and strong reasons for using ACCESS Newswire, the number one factor is the support we get. We have a dedicated account contact (Jennifer Creary) who manages all of our requests and is incredibly responsive and helpful. I do think the layout of the releases when they go live online does not look as good as it does with other newswires (like PRN or Businesswire). We cannot embed video the way we can with other distributons. We have had to convince some clients who are not familiar with the ciompany, that it is not a second tier option. The editors are extremely helpful when submitting changes to press releases with short turnaround. They are by far the glue that holds the whole process together. I appreciate being able to input my press release in the portal as well as attaching it as a Word doc or PDF. The integration of these two makes for an easy review of proof and input of any changes prior to the release going live. It sometimes feels like we're an afterthought as a smaller company. Our dedicated account reps have changed three times in the two years I've been using them and all without notice so when an issue came up and I needed our rep to help resolve, I got nothing in response to an email sent and it took days to figure it out. First is very easy to use. Its pretty self explanatory and you don't need a PhD to figure it out. The response times are quick and if you have problem they move fast to fix it. Everyone is very responsive to your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I paid for a press release in June, but they weren’t able to publish it, which I understood. However, instead of refunding me, they said the payment would remain as a credit for my next press release. That was fine with me.

At the end of September, I finally published a new press release, assuming it would be covered by the credit from June. But a few days later, I noticed that my credit card had been charged again. I figured it was a mistake and contacted support to request a refund.

It took them several days to respond, which was frustrating. When they finally did, they asked me to provide screenshots, which I did. After that, they completely stopped responding. I’ve followed up multiple times and even reached out to different support contacts, but never got a reply.
