**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

We only use a2z and have since 2007. I like the floor plan tool and how easy it is for our exhibitors to secure and pay for booth space. It seems simple, but the fact that exhibitors can do the majority of the things themselves is a huge timesaver for our staff and frees us up to seek out new sponsors and exhibitors. 

Additionally, really like being able to work with Rich Vallaster. He's a great brainstorming partner, and I always walk away with some new insight or a fresh perspective after talking to Rich.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

I really wish some of the reporting tools - especially the new Beta functions were more intuitive. It's sometimes difficult to get to the data I'm trying to get to without building and then combining multiple reports. 

Also, with the email functions to exhibitors, I'd like to be able to BCC my colleagues without them receiving  every single email being sent out to every exhibitor.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above, we've worked with a2z since 2007 and the amount of staff time saved has been invaluable.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

The a2z products provide efficiency and effectiveness to our event planning and management.  The tools we used are meeting our needs and providing a positive experience for both us and our attendees.  They also help us market the event and the tools available for attendees.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

Seems like when they were bought by Personify there was staff turnover, as expected.  I lost a few good sales and account team members.  We used their virtual connection suite for the virtual exhibit hall and I didn't like that the basic package for exhibitors includes a very limited number of "perks", if an exhibitor wants additional downloadable documents or videos or an additional list of attendees they will have to pay extra.  I think the package should be all-inclusive.  Also, I didn't like that there is no chatroom functionality for the exhibitors.

i highly recommend a2z events.

Seamless production of programming and exhibits/speaker management.  Their products are a time saver.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

We really like the people that we work with at a2z.  They are willing to try and work on creative solutions and help solves challenges. The floor plan management and sales piece are great.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

The structure of the database is a bit clunky and we find it difficult to get some of the information out of it that we need. Have not really seen a lot of changes/innovation in the technology in last few years.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have flexibility to create the floorplan we need in the space we are going to be and ease of reserving and then selling that space on our event website. Of particular benefit, this year with covid- we were able to relatively easily switch out the floor plan for a new site, and then ultimately for a virtual event.

Tracking of data related to our event programming has been helpful as well.

Having the event site built in a2z also allows us to have these elements seemlessly integrated in to the pre-show experience.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

Being able to access all of your events from a central location makes it easy to run year-over-year reporting and seeing a company's participation over the years from a single screen is incredibly valuable for the sales team.  The online booth sales contract is highly configurable and able to accommodate a variety of workflows streamlining the sales process so the sales team has more time to sell.  Operational efficiency is also a key factor in using this product- changes are logged, reports are easy to run and custom sql is available for business-specific reporting.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

Turn around time for tasks clients cannot handle themselves within the product is somewhat long.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating data flow across systems using the APIs has reduced errors and streamlined the transfer of data from a2z to external vendors like registration and GSCs as well as to our own websites.  Coolecting assets from exhibitors and sponsors using the Exhibitor Console has increased efficiency and reduced mistakes.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

I like the open communication. They are open to having discussions and brainstorming creative solutions. It is not often we hear, "no, that's not possible." There is usually a work around or a way to fix any issues we may be having.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

Sometimes updates will be released without too much guidance. We are typically able to figure them out, but it would be helpful to get an e-mail with any updates that are coming (and how to navigate those updates) especially when the floorplan interface is impacted.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Too many to count! I've been working with a2z for over ten years. It has been great to see how the company has grown and how our operations have grown with them. From implementing online contracts to selling sponsorships directly online, things keep getting easier for our exhibitors and show management.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

The system is extremely intuitive and easy to learn ( I am not a "techy" person). But even better, the A2Z/Personify team offers amazing customer support as needed. The team members I have had the pleasure of working with are always willing to jump on a call to help and truly offer the personal touch that lots of large, tech companies sometimes struggle with perfecting.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

Its hard to come up with negatives, but a "quick guide" or FAQ sheet on what reports will achieve different forms of tracking would maybe be helpful for some. When I first started using A2Z, that was probably the aspect that took me the longest to learn-- what report will produce the info that I need?

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More streamlined show floor planning, more efficient sponsorship tracking/sales.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

It's easy to use, no  unnecessary bells and whistles.  Can we integrated with SF.com

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

It's  not a flexible or easy to customize software.  They came out with a new reporting functionality, we didn't get a change yet to evaluate.  Existing  reports are not flexible. You have to contact  A2Z to create custom reports for you, you can't do it yourself. Even with that functionality is still  somewhat limited.

They provide integration with SF, but it's not customizable.  We made it work, but still experience issues with how to runs overnight syncs- it deletes all the records and then recreates them instead of updating/ adding new records. It presents a problem if part of your SF relies of those records for internal processes.


**Recommendations to others considering A2Z Events:**

The platform itself seems to be working fine. We had challenges with integration. Integration is not flexible , as a result we couldn't automate several business processes.
Unless situation changed recently, A2Z integrates with Account object of SF.com and three A2Z custom objects. The way nightly sync works is all the records are deleted and recreated again. It doesn't create "new" records only, it wipes out all existing records and then recreates them. It presented an issue for our internal business processes. But overall we made it work.

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

I have worked with Personify A2Z events (formerly A2Z exclusively) for three years. They offer a robust tool that encompasses all of our show needs (floorplan, conference mgt tool, front end website and mobile app) in an easy to use platform, making my job as a show organizer easier.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

Our account team went thru much transition over the last year which presented some challenges. At times we could use immediate training and support rather than waiting 24 hours or look for training on the website.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are streamlining our process by taking advantage of the online contract for exhibitors. Unfortunately we would love to use the financial model but at this time it will not work with our internal systems. Integration with our registration provider works well.

An intuitive and seamless exhibit management system -- from financials to floor plan -- and a highly responsive, top-notch customer service team.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

I don't have any "dislikes" to share about the Personify A2Z system.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enables us to manage and track  all exhibitor and sponsor contracts, invoices, payments, booth assignments, and history etc. in one system.  Benefits include the report features and the seamless invoicing and online payment processes.

It is so easy to use! Order consolidation along with floor control and robust reporting make it my favorite go-to solution.

Rich Vallaster is a first-rate client engagement and sales professional.  He calmly and patiently walks clients through Personify's A2Z software to ensure maximum use of the product.

Ensuring exhibitors use the many features of the software.

With a client, Rich and his team helped us navigate the many changes to floor plans as well as the capacity for the software to track financial records.

It's a great way to manage your exhibit floor and accounting.

The new reporting tool. I don't like that all booth activity goes in the "notes" section on the Company Info page.

I wouldn't say managing an exhibit floor is a problem. I find the way the program works it's beneficial and a great way to keep the history.

I love the reporting that is available. I also like that we can use it to process credit cards. It is super handy and has been a real time saver.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

I would like to see improvement to the invoicing module. It feels very generic and should be easier to customize. That being said, I couldn’t imagine not having the software.

**Recommendations to others considering A2Z Events:**

Make sure to have a list of priorities to see if everything is a fit. As I mentioned, the invoices aren’t very customizable, so if that is a must for you, A2Z would not be a good fit.

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Designing and editing floor plans are so much easier with this software. It has actually freed up a large chunk of time that can be put elsewhere.

The customer service is pretty good, they responded very quickly and worked hard to find a solution to my needs. 

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

It took a lot of work on my end in order to create an app that would meet my needs. I think it was difficult because I would have worked out a solution with one team member and that information was not communicated with the rest of the team so it ended up taking much more time and effort to create my app. 

**Recommendations to others considering A2Z Events:**

The product is good, just be clear of what you are needing up front. I do think that some of my issues may have been caused because we had an event that is abnormal. We did a scientific conference which was an educational event. This caused us to have to rearrange some of the app a little more than may would have needed to be done with other events. 

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed an app for my event. They showed me that in the future they can help me with event management.

I like that I can engage new prospects through innovative promotional options. Furthermore, you can use it to increase exhibit sales and digital revenues as well as improve productivity for the company.

It does not have a lot of features at the moment and may sometimes be unresponsive.

They have lots of big clients and also offer demos for new clients that might be interested. Do give it a try

**What do you like best about A2Z Events?**

I've used A2Z's free floorplan management software for two different events that we were previously updating floorplans using PDF documents. The program was fairly easy to learn how to use/manipulate.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

While it's DEFINITELY a time-saver to have the live floorplan, the lag in getting this up and running was slightly painful. I definitely felt/feel like I am one of the "Free" software users and not a paying customer. We waited weeks for our floorplan to be uploaded, sent a contact database that was never uploaded and have experienced a lack in response to customer service requests.

**Recommendations to others considering A2Z Events:**

I have no experience with the paid A2Z event management software, but their free platform is sufficient for basic use. Nothing fancy and "you get what you pay for."

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I mentioned before, for the two events that we uploaded into the Floorplan Genie were previously using PDF floorplans that we needed to manually update, so this software was DEFINITELY a step in the right direction. Even with the unpaid platform, the reporting features seem to be highly customizable, which is great for reporting to clients and collecting/organizing directory information.

reporting progress is much easier; designing and editing floor plans is easier; having exhibitors go online and pay  and update their profiles has taken the onus off of my staff. Keeping track of priority points and history is easier and minimizes mistakes

I like the reporting functionalities and the financial processing system for credit card payments.

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

I wish the invoice was customizable or at least offer a build your own invoice to meet your needs.

I am able to pull and provide exhibitor reports rather than asking my exhibits manager to pull.  I am also able to process payments for meeting room rental fees separately than the booth space payment.

A lot of mobile app developers are able to sync seamlessly. 

**What do you dislike about A2Z Events?**

It's not very intuitive, it requires a lot of unnecessary details and it is not easy to be customized based on need. 

**What problems is A2Z Events solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to get information populated into a mobile app. The benefit is that a lot of providers are able to sync directly and easily.

I think it is very easy to use.  And when there is a problem or question, my contact is very responsive.

It was just upgraded and that takes a little time to get used to.  I am still discovering all the features.
