### 4. Boosted Audience Engagement Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nitin s. | Support Specialist II - Geospatial Data Operations, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido makes audience interaction incredibly easy and engaging. I especially like the live polls, quizzes, and Q&A features—they’re intuitive to use and help boost participation during meetings or webinars. The real-time response tracking is also a great plus, making sessions feel more dynamic and interactive.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

While Slido is generally excellent, I think there’s room for improvement in terms of customization options for the visual layout. It would be great to have more flexibility to match event branding or corporate themes. Also, the first-time login or joining process can be a bit confusing for non-tech-savvy participants.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps solve the challenge of keeping audiences engaged during virtual or hybrid meetings. It makes it easy to collect real-time feedback, run live polls, and encourage Q&A without disrupting the flow of the session. This has significantly improved participation and made our meetings more interactive and productive. It also helps in gathering honest feedback anonymously, which is valuable for post-event analysis and decision-making.

The best features of Slido are its simplicity and live engagement tools. Other appreciable features includes how intuitive it is to set up live polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions, making meetings and events more interactive and fun.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

In slido there are limited number of polls and survey duration, which I dislikes because as a user who need more flexibility or want to run longer events its quite challenging.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helped to solve the problem of low engagement and limited participation in meetings, classes, and events by making it easy for everyone to join in, ask questions, and provide feedback.

 ### 9. Experience of using Slido

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vansh T. | Cloud Co-Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I really liked how easy and intuitive Slido was to use for creating a quiz. The interface is clean and beginner-friendly, making it simple to add questions, set time limits, and manage the quiz flow. I especially appreciated the real-time response tracking—it made the whole experience engaging and interactive. Slido also provides a smooth experience for participants, with no need to sign up or install anything, which helped everyone join quickly and easily.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

One thing I disliked about Slido is that some of the more advanced features—like detailed analytics or customization options—are locked behind a paid plan, which can be limiting for students or small events. Also, while the quiz feature is great, it would be even better if there were more flexibility in question types and visual customization to make quizzes more engaging. Lastly, the mobile interface, although functional, can feel a bit cramped when multiple options or longer questions are involved.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps solve the problem of passive participation during sessions or presentations by providing a simple and effective way to engage the audience through interactive quizzes and polls. In my case, it made the quiz more exciting and dynamic, keeping everyone involved in real time. Instead of just sharing questions verbally or through slides, I could track responses live and instantly see who was leading. This made the whole experience more interactive and enjoyable, especially in an educational or event setting where audience attention can drop quickly.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The plans are a bit expensive, especially if only used for occasional use. Customization options could be improved too. User experience as the audience could be improved with better instructions

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps make meetings more interactive, generate audience participation. Works well with other tools like google slides

 ### 14. Slido offers interactive slides for more motivating lessons

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adelina M. | Teacher and teacher training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I use Slido with my students and they really enjoy the lessons when I use it, because it makes the lessons more dynamic and fun, I also use it during teacher training. Once teachers know that they can make their presentations more interactive, they start integrating it into their lessons. The feedback I get from teachers is very positive.
It's an easy platform to use and implement, once you know how it works, and it can be accessed from any computer, anywhere, all you need is an internet connection. It's good because it can be integrated with curriculum content. I can use it frequently because it doesn't restrict the number of presentations.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

It's not a good thing that the free version has restrictions on the poll slides.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to manage the class, mitigate indiscipline in the classroom, motivate students towards the curricular content and to participate more in class and learn with emotion.

 ### 15. Excellent Live Analytics for Real-Time Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheetal L. | Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Its live and captures the analytics well so it's easy to use

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

limitations on the free version may not work on the longer term

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you could increase the user numbers to 200 at least, it would work well with minor surveys randomly placed up. Also the limitations to 3polls should increase to 6 at least.

 ### 16. Effortless Setup and Seamless Integration for Presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Easy to use interface. This was just what I needed for my academic presentation on the fly.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Not much not to like. It was easy to set up and I could have it ready to go ahead of the presentation. It was easily integrated into the presentation format; plug and play for sure.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed an easy-to-use quick survey app for my academic presentation for a Computer Science presentation on AI. I am not familiar with survey monkey or similar programs (that much) and this worked wonderfully.

 ### 17. Effortless Engagement with Live Polls and Seamless Integration

**Reviewed by:** Manish T. | Network & Security Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Slido?**

What I like most about slido is that it give easy to usage live polls , question and answer session, quizzes and surveys to engage all the participant in a meeting. It also integrates with Powerpoint as well as google slides.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Its full features cost may be on higher side and sometimes it may be difficult to manage multiple session and keep questioning a little tricky.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes sure that the people I am give presentation is attentive and help me to understand that how many people are grasping the topic

 ### 18. Takes engagement to the next level!

This platform enables the audience to actively participate in shaping the experience, work together in real time, and create an impressive final product.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I wish capturing and sharing the artifact were more straightforward. Maybe it actually is, and I just haven't figured it out yet. I'm still in the process of learning how to make the most of the tool.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brings hybrid audiences together and gives virtual participants a voice in the room.

 ### 19. Effortless Quiz Creation with Clear Instructions

So easy to use for both sides! Easy to set up for the presenter and easy to use for the participants.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to rapidly create with ease surveys that can be used online on live.
The application on the phone is super easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Nothing, it's amazing! I enjoyed using it, good job!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn't experience any problems overall. It did take a little time to get it working with Google Slides, but in the end, everything worked out fine.

 ### 22. Interaction at its best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Co-Founder & CEO, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

What I like best about Slido is how easy it makes audience engagement, especially during hybrid events or workshops. It’s incredibly intuitive, and I can quickly set up live polls, Q&A sessions, or word clouds without disrupting the flow of a session. It creates a sense of inclusion, letting everyone have a voice, whether in the room or connecting remotely. I also love how seamlessly it integrates with PowerPoint, and this keeps things slick and professional when delivering my presentations.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There isn't much to dislike, to be fair. It works every time and gets the audience engaged.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido solves one of my biggest challenges in meetings, events, and workshops: real engagement. When working with education (young adults) engagement can be tough, but using Slido it breaks down the traditional presenter/audience barrier and gives everyone a voice. Using live polls, Q&A, quizzes, or word clouds allows for everyone to be heard and share their ideas and feedback.

For me, it’s made sessions far more interactive, inclusive, and dynamic.

 ### 23. Effortless Anonymous Polling, But Needs Question Reuse Feature

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Conor M. | Trainer, auditor, advisor, Energy & Transport, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Simplicity and no need to login for users i.e. audience / participants can go straight to interactions. This is vital for anonymous polling, we use chat for non-anon polling.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Inability to re-use questions, you either start with a master template and work down, or you are stuck rewriting the same questions. Slido are missing a trick here, but I'm sure its architecture related. Not a deal breaker, but a missed opportunity.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience interaction. Simple, scalable and re-useable (even if you have to retype questions)

 ### 24. In-person Polling Made Easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayla S. | Human Resource Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The ability to embed polls into my PowerPoint was great for the in-person training I recently facilitated. There were 64 participants, and to try and count for each question would have been a headache. The participants also loved the interaction with the polls and the ability to see where they stood against the other participants. It was led to a streamlined approach to the polls, as I didn't have to stop the PowerPoint presentation to pull up the Slido website every time.

Embedding the polls into my PowerPoint presentation was also really easy! Once I downloaded the add-in for PowerPoint, it was as simple as entering my poll question/responses and clicking a button.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

My only critique about Slido is I didn't have the option/ability to change the font size of the poll question or responses on the slide. My polls each had six responses, and once participants began to answer (which added the percentage bar) the last one or two responses were cut off.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido made my presentation streamlined, without needing to switch between the presentation and the polls. The data is also helpful for discussing trends among the group in real-time.

 ### 25. Review of student presentations made by teams at the open campus

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** YUTO Y. | student of university, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The ability to submit questions anonymously and the ease of use of the UI is highly appreciated.
I used Slido for a student presentation at a university open campus. Using QR codes, I solicited questions from students (high school students). We received more questions than ever before.
(I used deepl translation).

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

When used as a student presentation at a university open campus, it was done in teams. Most of the team members did not see the slido administration screen. This suggests that the slido admin screen may be difficult to navigate.

We believe that there should be a ready button on the admin screen where questions can be answered. We envision this button being used in a team presentation to indicate that a question requires research to answer and that the research has been completed. We would like to have a form where each presenting member selects the question they want to answer and the administrator selects the question they want to answer.
(I used deepl translation).

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my experience during a university open campus event, I utilized Slido to facilitate a student presentation. By providing QR codes, I invited high school students to submit their questions anonymously. This approach led to a significant increase in the number of questions received compared to previous events. The anonymity feature empowered students to inquire without fear of judgment, enhancing their engagement and enriching the overall discussion.

Additionally, Slido's user-friendly interface simplifies the process of submitting questions and participating in polls, making it accessible even to those unfamiliar with such platforms. This ease of use contributes to a more interactive and dynamic event atmosphere, benefiting both presenters and attendees.

 ### 26. Effortless audience engagement directly inside PowerPoint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nuno C. | Project & Service Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido makes audience interaction effortless and impactful. Its native-like integration into PowerPoint means I can run live polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions without switching apps or disrupting the flow of my presentation. It’s intuitive, quick to set up, and adds a professional, interactive touch that consistently boosts audience engagement.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

While Slido works seamlessly during presentations, in edit mode within PowerPoint it would be valuable to have more detailed information available — such as displaying audience responses — to give better context and ensure questions are framed more effectively.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido keeps audiences engaged by adding live polls, quizzes, and Q&A directly in PowerPoint, saving time and making presentations smoother and more interactive.

 ### 27. A great way to boost participation during presentations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I recently used Slido for the first time during a webinar, and overall, I was impressed. The platform was intuitive to set up and integrated seamlessly into my slide deck, making the experience smooth from the start.

One feature I especially appreciated was being able to see when participants were typing. It helped me gauge whether to pause or move on, which made the session feel more dynamic and responsive. Slido also takes the pressure off attendees who may not feel comfortable speaking up, allowing for more engagement.

I'd definitely consider using it again!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

While I do wish the free version offered a bit more in terms of features, what is available gives you a solid feel for how the platform works.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When running webinars, one of the biggest challenges is knowing whether your audience is engaged or even paying attention, especially when the only interaction point is a Q&A at the end. Slido solves this by providing real-time opportunities for engagement throughout the session.

Using Slido, I was able to get immediate feedback from participants, which helped me gauge interest and adjust the pacing or focus of the content as needed. It also encouraged attendees to reflect more on the material being presented and made them feel more comfortable asking questions.

 ### 28. Slido got us Started

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen J. | Consultant, Managing Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I like that slido was quick to implement!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

It was a little difficult for me to get back into the results after I finished my presentation. (This was my fault though, I used the wrong email to log in.) The program was so easy to use and my participants had different devices at the conference. I heard another presenter talking about Slido in the morning, and by afternoon, I had it all set up for my presentation.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want feedback on my podcasting presentation. I wan to hear from teachers, and Slido got it done.

 ### 29. Engages Every Audience with Live Polls and Q&A

 ### 30. Effortless Setup and Outstanding Features

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Easy to setup, great features and very responsive

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I guess like any great tool should support the developer and purchase a license. The free version was still awesome.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engaging a live audience whilst not in a zoom or teams meeting and getting instant feedback on polls, live is fantastic

 ### 31. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I struggled to find a polling tool that would work well with Apple's Keynote. As I don't have Microsoft 360 I can't use Powerpoint, so trying to find the right combination of software packages to do a presentation with interactive polling elements was a headache. Slido solved the problem. It worked perfectly with Google Slides and was easy to use, both in preparing the slides and then in using them in a live situation.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I would like a version that works just as seamlessly with Keynote

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to put a poll and a word cloud exercise into a lesson presentation for my students

 ### 32. More inclusive, more interactive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Great way to help people ask questions in an anonymous way, which means that people who are normally much less likely to ask a question feel able to do so.
It is also lovely to be able to gather responses e.g. creating word clouds, which means you can make talks much more interactive.
It is easy to use - just install it!
You do need to bring your own device to presentations, which saves having to email it or find a USB.
Probably more features that I haven't used, but will try to!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

having to navigate to the slide to manage the questions when you are in presenter mode in ppt - this takes a wee bit of time.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

making research presentations and teaching more interactive

 ### 33. Using Slido for Professional Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Program Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I use Slido when facilitation professional development sessions to educators. The PowerPoint integration for Slido is great. The extension was easy to install and instantly use. You can access and build a Slido while in PowerPoint. I like this integration because you don't have to switch screens to access and display interactions while presenting. Everything is right there in the PowerPoint presentation, including the information participants need to access the interactions (QR code, join code) . Results can also be displayed through the PP presentation. This is full integration. I use the free version and I can do everything that I need to engage participants and allow for all voices to be heard. Participants enjoy Slido because it enhances the quality of my presentations and allows for them to provide immediate feedback and input. I've used it in-person and remotely, and in both scenarios there is high engagement and response.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The biggest challenge I've had using Slido is the Google Slides integration. I downloaded the Chrome extension and the Slides extension and could not get it to work. Not sure if it was my device or user error but I was expecting to see a similar experience to the PowerPoint integration.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It increases participant engagement. Word clouds or short responses allow participants to share their input and it helps facilitate group discussions. The game style quiz is great for keeping participants on their toes with a little competition. This is great for session reviews and if I have incentives I can reward winners.

 ### 34. great tool to engage audience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lila L. | MarCom, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is an invaluable tool for engaging my audience during presentations, meetings, and events. Its interactive features, such as live polls, Q&A sessions, and surveys, foster real-time participation, making it easy for attendees to share their thoughts and questions. This enhances audience involvement and helps create a more dynamic atmosphere. Additionally, Slido's seamless integration with popular platforms like Zoom and Google Slides allows for smooth transitions and streamlined experiences. By using Slido, I can gather instant feedback, gauge understanding, and ensure that my audience feels heard, ultimately leading to more productive and engaging sessions.

Can Slido integrate with PowerP

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I dont see anything unsatisfied so far, everything is great!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

engaging, and create a good vibe for my presentation

 ### 35. Captain Andy’s Sailing Adventures, Kauai

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyler M. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

We used Slido for our quarterly staff meeting. It allows our captains and crew to populate topics of discussion, in person, anonymously, that might otherwise be overlooked or uncomfortable to discuss.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Nothing really. It’s very simple and easy to use.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we prepare for a company departmental meeting, often times we can’t get input from the team for topics of discussion. But when we use Slido to start off the meeting, it brings so much to the table. Then everyone votes on topics, so we get a pulse on what everyone is talking about. Very helpful for us.

 ### 36. Effortless Setup and Operation with Slido

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Senior Manager, FP&A and Capital Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido was pretty easy to set up and operate.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There wasn't anything I disliked about Slido

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido easily help me set up a 25 question and answer based trivia "game" I used with my finance colleagues for our monthly Finance Fun Time meeting.

 ### 37. Excellent software for interactive workshops

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris . | Research Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is very easy to use and to implement into Power Point. You do not have to download an app and results can be shown live. Because of its usability and vast number of features, rating options, Q&A section, ..., I prefer to use Slido over other software of other providers. Personaly, I think that Slido is the best participation software on the market. It even has a free plan for smaller events, which suffices most of my use cases.
I used Slido with an audience of more than 100 participants and did not run into any issues.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I did not notice any downsides, when using slido :)

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps to give larger audiences a feel of participation into presentations. I could even use it to perform kind of a live crisis response exercise with roughly 100 participants. The audience was astonished by the software I used (slido) and how they could participate. Slido helps to make presentations less boring and helps to adjust the given info of your speech to the professions of the audience.

 ### 38. Using basic (non-paying) plan

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaya C. | Occupational Therapist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

This is a great add in for power point, I used it to engage my class when I needed to do a presentation. I asked a question and everyone had to answer with 1-2 word answers, and slido created a word cloud in real time. It was really neat, and added some excitement to student engagement. It was easy to create the slido, and easy for everyone to access it during the presentation using the QR code or the web address. I would definitely use slido again in future presentations.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

One downside about slido is with the basic (free) plan you can only use 3 slido slides per presentation. It is also not very intuitive to use, as far as adding it to your presentation, editing it, or erasing the answers so it can be reused. An interface that's easy to navigate is important to me as a person in a non-tech or marketing related field, but who has to use tech everyday.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When presenting information to my class using power point, it can get boring and monotonous. Slido helps inject some excitement and increases student engagement, whether it is with word cloud, polls, or multiple choice questions.

 ### 39. Great tool to engage the audience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mindaugas J. | Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Easy to connect and use for the participants of the workshop, no need for prior knowledge, experience, or upfront setup. The tools for facilitator are also extremely easy to use and don't require prior experience or training, which comes in very handy in situations, where there is a very limited amount of time to prepare.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Not that it was something I disliked, but I had to transform one interaction on-the-fly, from Word Cloud to Open Text. It would have been excellent if the original responses would have been transferred from one to another, because the participants had to submit their responses one more time. However this was my error and I should have tested it before the workshop itself.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* Universal collection of responses regardless of the device, OS, browser, application policy, etc.
* Simple to understand interface for the participants, which does not require prior training.
* Possibility to present the responses and get live feedback/have a group discussion.

 ### 40. Utilization of Slido for Quizzes as Training Analyst in Dangote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yusuf A. | Training Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I use Slido to create an engaging quiz when delivering, coordinating or moderating training programs across the Dangote group.
The leaderboard makes people wants to participate more to showcase their names at the top of the ladder.
The ability to set timer for each question makes it flexible.
The possibility to link it directly to a MS Teams group or scheduled training makes it fantastic.
The report it is generate at the end of the session also makes it very useful.
The ability to duplicate an interaction. And the new feature of adding more than one interaction per set-up for upgrade version also makes it enticing to want to get the pro version.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The limit available for polls in the free version.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engaging training program and it helps to keep delegates engaged throughout the session.

 ### 41. Frequency of Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Huseyin I. | Öğretim Üyesi, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Ease of Use.
It's nice that the participation code is short.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The QR code and link in the left panel of the results page can be removed.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get feedback at every stage of my presentation to guide my speech.

 ### 42. Slido - easy way to make your presentations interactive!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danait I. | Community Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

What I like best about Slido is its ability to make meetings, events, and presentations more interactive and engaging. I've used other similar platforms before, but none have been as easy to use and fun as Slido. It allows participants to easily ask questions, participate in live polls, and share feedback, creating a more dynamic and inclusive environment. It’s a great way to gather insights and keep everyone involved in real-time, no matter where they’re joining from.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I only used the free version, which was enough for my session! Might explore providing schools/nonprofits discounted price for the paid services.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is especially beneficial because it gives people time to think about their answers and respond in a way that feels less awkward or pressured. It ensures everyone has a chance to contribute, creating a more inclusive and interactive experience for all participants.

 ### 43. Exceptionally User-Friendly and Easy to Start

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robbie C. | Senior Marketing & Communications Consultant, Copywriter, Athlete Endorsement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The user-friendliness, there's no barrier to start using it.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

the word cloud is a bit sloppy. It did not really show what it wat the questions were about.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The easiness to interact with our event public via a mobile application on slido.com.

 ### 44. An excellent tool for interaction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim M. | Director of Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Using Slido at an event to elicit interaction about sensitive topics was really helpful. Participants could respond anonymously and truthfully as individuals, and then transition to table talk in the abstract. It helped them be honest while not being more vulnerable than they felt comfortable being, as they could discuss the whole group responses in the abstract.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I would have liked the option to add a second admin to an event via one-time event license, rather than having to go for a full-year license for two admins.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed us to gather responses from a large room, but discuss them at small tables. It also let us curate a Q&A session in a limited time slot rather than turning the microphone over to individuals who might go off topic once they get the mic.

 ### 45. Reliably Easy, Quick Way to Gather Team Input

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The ease with which participants can access the software and leave their input in real-time has been a game-changer for our group events. It has proven incredibly useful to give a voice to less talkative participants, keeping them engaged while signaling that their voice is important.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

It took me a little while to get used to the layout of Slido, and to understand the terms and descriptions they use for various features. However, I believe that even in the time I discovered and began using this service (a few months), they've been making improvements in these regards.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was finding it difficult to engage more introverted participants in group discussion. Slido opens doors to give a voice to such participants without asking them to venture too far out of their comfort zone.

 ### 46. Great polling/Q&A application that’s free!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen N. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Once I got used to how it worked, it was very straightforward to use

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I wish it could be integrated and embedded into Apple keynote

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to have live Q&As during a presentation

 ### 47. I love the live view of ratings or polls.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richmond N. | Programs and Research Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It is easy to set up and publish. I greatly like the part that viewers or respondents get live feedback on polls or other inputs they make.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about except maybe that it is an online tool, but again, that is what it is meant to be for the purpose it serves, so I don't think this qualifies as a dislike.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking a live poll can be daunting especially because you want to engage the audience who may not be bothered and interested. Slido solves this challenge by first making the solution live and interactive and then making it look nice and engaging. Example is their word cloud feature which i like the most.

 ### 48. Strategic Planning Exellence thanks to Slido!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy F. | President/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

At the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, we recently used Slido’s word cloud feature as part of our SWOT analysis during our board’s strategic planning session, and it was a game-changer.

Slido was incredibly easy to set up and use, making it simple to engage our board members in a meaningful and interactive way. The platform allowed us to collect real-time, anonymous feedback, which encouraged honest insights and thoughtful contributions. Seeing key themes emerge visually in the word cloud helped us quickly identify our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, creating a dynamic and productive discussion.

We highly recommend Slido for any organization looking to enhance engagement and streamline collaborative brainstorming. It’s a powerful tool that truly adds value to strategic planning sessions!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

One limitation of Slido is that the free version only allows up to three polls, which may be restrictive for larger planning sessions. However, the platform's ease of use and effectiveness in gathering anonymous feedback still make it a valuable tool for strategic discussions.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We planned a SWOT Analysis for our Board strategic planning meeting, and Slido made the process seamless. It allowed us to gather honest and anonymous feedback from our board members in real time, eliminating the need for advance emails, paper handouts, or lengthy discussions. The ease of use and instant visualization through the word cloud feature helped us quickly identify key themes, making our session more efficient and engaging.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

This is my first time to use Slido and so far as a beginner, no problem for me.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far no problem for me. This is beneficial during discussion and interaction with the listener. Slido quiz helps me know if my participants is active during the discussion.

 ### 50. Slido; a great app for conferences

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge Alejandro S. | University professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is a fantastic tool for conferences. It's incredibly easy to use and implement, making it perfect for professors and students alike. I use it every week to attract my students. Getting thier feedback is easier and they are not shy anymore to share their ideas.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

While I love Slido, I do wish it had more customization options for branding, as it's nice to add a personal touch to presentations.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido solves the problem of keeping large classes engaged and communicating effectively. With its interactive features like live polls and Q&A, students stay involved and can ask questions anonymously, which encourages participation. The real-time feedback helps me understand their grasp of the material, allowing me to adjust my teaching accordingly. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with other educational tools, saving me time. Overall, it enhances the learning experience and makes my job a lot easier.
