**What do you like best about metricool?**

The platform’s user interface is very intuitive, and it’s been quite easy to navigate. That said, the best feature, in my opinion, is the “best time” suggestion that shows when your audience is active on your platform, based on your account data for each channel. I can’t emphasize enough how useful it is to see this information displayed as percentages.

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

Honestly, I haven’t found anything I dislike about it. Overall, it’s been extremely helpful. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to make uploading carousels in Auto List more error-proof. To be on the safe side, I usually use their planner instead of Auto List.

**What problems is metricool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of juggling multiple platforms to post social media content, I can batch my content and schedule everything at once, which saves me a lot of time. It also lets me rely on a single platform not only for publishing, but also for reviewing analytics so I can refine my strategy.

**What do you like best about metricool?**

As far as social media schedulers go, Metricool feels pretty standard overall. I do like that my team can manage all of our social accounts in one place, including multiple Instagram accounts. The link shortener is enormously helpful. The metrics dashboard is useful as well, since it gives us insight into our analytics and makes it easier to understand how our accounts are performing.

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

I have to reconnect my accounts more often than I should, which can be really annoying.

**What problems is metricool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing different regional accounts has really streamlined our work and solved something that used to cause friction. It helps us centralize everything for brand continuity, even while still supporting localized accounts. I also like that my team can manage all of our social accounts in one place, including multiple Instagram accounts. Since we have different regional Instagram accounts, that’s especially helpful for our use case and makes day-to-day management much smoother.

I like the simplicity of Metricool, making it really easy to interact with. It is great for scheduling social media posts for various clients as it allows posting to multiple platforms at once. The platform's analytics are valuable because I can link it to the websites I manage and track both website and social media engagement. I especially appreciate the nice, clean analytics reports I can share with my clients without the need to manually send them out. This helps in making better decisions on when to post and what content resonates with audiences, thereby improving future posts. **What do you like best about metricool?**

I find Metricool super simple to use and appreciate how easy it is to integrate, with mostly consistent uptime. It's really great for anyone entering to use right away, enabling us to get our clients the information they need quickly. I also love how the software consolidates all the data into an easy-to-read dashboard, which simplifies selecting exactly what we want to show the client. Plus, it generates reports that we can customize a bit before sending them off for clients to review their current standings quickly and easily.

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

That new design that they rolled out recently is awful. The fluorescent colors with the high contrast and the squiggly lines and all that other stuff is simply not professional for a lot of our clients. And so we find ourselves having to delete those things or cover them up because it's frankly obnoxious.

Metricool organizes all data into an easy-to-read dashboard and custom reports for clients. It streamlines data selection and report generation, making it simple for clients to quickly review their standings.

Without the ability to get necessary analytics for my personal LinkedIn account, the motivation to upgrade isn't strong.

I like that with Metricool, I can tag people in LinkedIn posts, which was not available on other scheduling platforms 3 years ago. The platform has great UX, making it easy to schedule posts and check analytics. The calendar's feature that shows thematic holidays is also a nice touch for post inspiration. Their support team responds quickly to any questions, and they often roll out new features, which is great. Their pricing is also quite reasonable compared to Hootsuite and SproutSocial for a medium-sized company. st

Sometimes LinkedIn PDFs are too big to publish, but it might be because they're too heavy. Just allow uploading design-heavy files if possible. I can upload those files on LinkedIn, so it shouldn't be an issue for Metricool to allow it too.

Clean UI and a low learning curve. but very basic

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

Auto-renew charged my card on October 14, 2025 even though I was not actively using the product.

Cannot connect two Instagram accounts at the same time. To switch, you have to disconnect and reconnect, which is slow and error-prone.

Support did not provide a timely or actionable response to my refund request. The renewal policy feels opaque and not customer-centric.

**What problems is metricool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem we hoped to solve: centralize social scheduling and basic analytics for multiple Instagram profiles under one brand.

What worked: quick onboarding, clean calendar view, basic post scheduling and reporting for a single profile helped us keep a consistent cadence for a short period.

Limited benefit: we could not keep two Instagram accounts connected simultaneously, so our team spent time disconnecting/reconnecting accounts, which killed the workflow gains.

Net impact: minor help for single-account scheduling, but overall benefits were outweighed by multi-account limitations and slow support on a refund request.

Regarding your comment about connecting Instagram accounts, it’s not necessary to disconnect and reconnect profiles —in fact, we don’t recommend doing so. Metricool is structured by “brands,” and each brand allows you to connect one profile per social network. This means that with any premium plan, you can connect as many Instagram accounts as the number of brands included in your plan—one per brand—without any need to disconnect existing ones.

We understand your disappointment and regret that your experience didn’t meet expectations. I like the APIs and the automation possibilities offered by Metricool. I consider it a 'white hat' tool. I find the documentation sufficiently good and the initial setup quite easy. But above all, I would recommend the exceptional advice I received from Astrid. Truly a person of rare availability and competence, extremely proactive and highly collaborative. Better than any expectation.

I don't know it well enough to respond, but I would like to be able to use its APIs to publish content without having to 'upload' my editorial calendar on the platform but push it directly to social media.

I really like that everything is in one place, especially the feature that suggests the best posting times for Facebook. I’m not sure how it’s calculated, but it’s very helpful and makes planning easier.

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

When I manage several brands that are closely connected, I have to switch into each account separately to see their schedules. It would be much more convenient to have one combined calendar view that shows all brand accounts together.

The platform is straightforward and visually clean. When I was using it, it handled multi-platform post scheduling and basic performance tracking well — suitable for lightweight social media management.

I was blindsided by a $324 auto-renewal charge for an account that had been completely inactive for years — no login, no usage, no notifications. I reached out within minutes of the charge, canceled immediately, and explained the situation clearly. Despite that, support refused a refund and hid behind policy. The experience was frustrating at every step: generic copy-paste replies, being bounced from chat to email, and a tone that felt cold and dismissive. They eventually refunded a small add-on fee but kept the main charge — as if that made it okay. It's clear they value short-term revenue over long-term customer relationships. The way this was handled felt more like a trap than a service.

Previously, it helped with basic post scheduling and keeping content organized across platforms. However, I no longer use it, and there were no benefits at all during the last few years when the account was inactive without notice.

We’d like to share that, similar to most subscription-based platforms, Metricool follows a model where the terms and conditions — accepted at the time of subscribing — explain how the subscription works, including auto-renewals and billing policies. These terms are in place to ensure consistency for everyone.

It’s also worth mentioning that while we provide access to the service and its full features, we don’t monitor individual account activity or usage. This means the subscription remains active and available, even if there hasn’t been recent login activity, unless the user decides to cancel it from their account settings.

From our support team, we always aim to guide users so they can complete the cancellation process on their side and apply refunds when the conditions are met. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. That said, we were able to show some flexibility by refunding the add-on, as it’s a more recent option added to the plan.

While this doesn’t change what happened, we’re genuinely sorry that the experience didn’t meet your expectations and left you feeling dismissed. Your feedback is very important to us, and we’ll make sure to share it with the team so we can keep improving how we communicate and support our metricoolers.

However, I’ve found that posts published through Metricool don’t perform as well as those posted directly on each platform, which is disappointing. Additionally, their customer support and auto-renewal practices leave much to be desired, making it hard to recommend without significant caution.

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

I recently had a disappointing experience with Metricool regarding their auto-renewal practices. The invoice and charge for my subscription renewal were processed simultaneously at 1:45 a.m., leaving no opportunity for advance notice or to cancel before being charged. I contacted their support team by 6:00 a.m., using both email addresses they had on file (as shown on the invoice and receipt), but they claimed they couldn’t locate my account and refused to issue a refund, citing their terms and conditions.

In addition to this frustrating billing experience, I also found that posts scheduled and published using Metricool did not perform as well as organic posts made directly on the respective platforms. This defeats the purpose of using the tool, as I was expecting it to optimize my workflow without compromising engagement.

I immediately canceled the auto-renewal to avoid future charges, but the lack of transparency, poor customer support, and reduced post performance make me unable to recommend this tool. If you are considering Metricool, I strongly advise caution regarding their auto-renewal policies and the effectiveness of their platform for social media publishing.

Metricool aims to solve the problem of managing multiple social media accounts by providing a centralized platform for scheduling posts, tracking analytics, and streamlining workflows. Theoretically, this should save time and improve efficiency for social media managers.

However, my experience with Metricool raised several concerns. Posts scheduled and published through Metricool performed noticeably worse than those posted directly on each platform, undermining the purpose of using the tool. Additionally, I encountered significant issues with customer service. When I reached out about a billing dispute regarding an unexpected auto-renewal charge, their responses were unhelpful, and they failed to resolve the matter despite my prompt follow-up.

The inability to locate an account tied to emails they used for billing raises security concerns about how user information is managed. These lapses in transparency and support made me question the reliability and trustworthiness of the platform.

While Metricool attempts to address key social media management challenges, the drawbacks I experienced—including reduced post performance, poor customer service, and security concerns—prevented me from benefiting fully from their services.

The 15-day right of withdrawal applies only to the initial purchase of the subscription and not to renewals. This policy is outlined in our Terms and Conditions,  which users agree to when creating a Metricool account and before completing their first payment. Regarding performance, we understand your concern about the performance of posts published through Metricool. It’s important to note that we use the official APIs of each social network, which means that the performance of posts mainly depends on the algorithms and policies of each platform, not on the tool used. What I love about Metricool is their customer service, which is super responsive, whether it's on the website via chat, but especially on social media and by email.

The best part is the ability to set up more than 13 digital channels and to analyze the competition and the best times to post. Every time I want to schedule content, I rely on Metricool's schedule to plan my posts.

Not to mention the webinars, and especially the studies that are greatly shaping the social media landscape in France.

I have been following Metricool since 2019 and have enjoyed its evolution in the French market. And it is evident that they are open and attentive to their audience.

Ill-equipped chat help and IT support. Wasted 4 hours trying to get my issue resolved.

I have had multiple issues with the desktop site for the past several days. My reels are not posting to facebook due to “Video Creation” error. And the Planner is not showing the Calendar “Month” view. All I can see is the week view. 

I followed all the steps they provided to troubleshoot both of my technical issues.  
I have now spent four hours with their chat team over the course of two work days days with no solution. After chatting with 3-4 chat team members, I believe they are ill-equipped. I should have been directed to the IT team immediately. I asked to speak with someone on the phone. Metricool does not have phone support. 
I would have been satisfied if my problem has been solved within an hour. I am finally getting help from someone in the IT dept, but it took four hours away from my work as a social media manager. I simply do not have the time to be wasting on troubleshooting a software that exists to save time for social media managers.

SInce writing this review, I heard back from Metricool and they refunded my account fully until the problem was solved. I received a personal email from the head of the IT dept admitting their error and expressing their apologies, committing to growing and improving. I am happy to say I resubscribed to Metricool because their product simply is the best.

Perhaps it's already done somewhere, but I haven't found it.

Metricool is essential for managing my personal brand on different social networks, but also for managing my clients' accounts.

One of the features I like the most is that from its dashboard I can have a complete view of the key metrics of all connected social networks. This includes follower growth statistics, interactions, reach, and more, which makes the work easier.

Also, the scheduling function is great because it allows you to organize all the content well in advance and not waste so much time on social networks.

Another key point for me is the support; they are very quick and solve any problem in no time.

As points for improvement, I would say that the user interface in the mobile app could be more polished and that in the free version, it should be possible to connect a LinkedIn account, since so far you can only connect an account from this platform with the paid plans.

Metricool is the engine that runs our main social media scheduling and analytics operations. The platform streamlined analytics reporting for our clients, allowing us to easily share data in a way that shows more than just numbers and percentages, plus it allows one-click PDF report downloads, which saved my team so much time that we used to spend aggregating social data manually. Transitioning accounts from our old platform was very painless, and their support team is very helpful. They also regularly add new features to keep up with the ever-changing social media landscape.

**What do you dislike about metricool?**

The platform's content review system is still a work in progress. They have added new features like the ability to send individual review requests for posts, however I would like the ability to send a review link to clients for our whole post calendar, not just the individual posts. There is also no system currently in place to notify you via email/push notification when someone leaves feedback on a drafted post, which can be easily overlooked if not actively looking for the small dot on the calendar view.

Metricool is a very comprehensive tool, when we talk not only about scheduling on Social Networks but also about metrics. My rating for the tool and the Metricool team goes beyond 5 stars.

Metricool is my favorite tool for managing, scheduling, and monitoring social media campaigns. In my view, it is the most intuitive, the easiest to use when planning content.

It is also the tool that offers growth and results statistics for each and every Social Network and provides valuable information about the target audience of each social channel (age, gender, geographic location, etc.). And within its general panel, we can find the most detailed statistics about those networks we have linked on the platform.

They have integrated Artificial Intelligence into their interface, which adds value. I am a big fan of Metricool.

What I like most about Metricool is that it is a complete tool, easy to use and very intuitive. In a quick view you already know how to use it. The learning curve is very simple and it does exactly what it promises: it is the center of operations for social media managers. 

The scheduler is a very powerful feature, it helps to organize work, saves time, allows teamwork and review teamwork. It allows you to plan, schedule, automate and publish in multi-post to all the social networks you connect with Metricool. 

Another highlight of Metricool is being able to have web metrics, advertising campaigns and social media actions in the same dashboard. In addition, the possibility of downloading reports for social media managers to defend their work is wonderful! 

Analytics is another great point. The data provided by Metricool allows you to analyze the activity of a business in a very visual way. Details on engagement, follower growth, successful content. 

For me, as an ecommerce consultant, the Inbox feature is amazing. My clients fall in love with the INBOX functionality because they can manage all the direct messages they have from different social networks in one place. For entrepreneurs it's the best social media customer care center you could want.

Anything I don't like? I think there is nothing because as soon as there is something you think is missing they release it as a new feature! They are very up to date and always surprise me.

Before using metricool I had to get data from many tools or sites, it tooks me hours and days! to find the data I needed for my reports. For the contents of my networks I invested time and free time because other tools were difficult to use so I ended up uploading content on the spot. Metricool gives me time, gives me peace of mind and allows me to develop my work more efficiently and professionally. Metricool helps you to become more agile creating content, analyzing visually what works on social networks... and much more.
