It does what it says it will do, and the support team is very responsive.

Never had an issue that wasn't resolved so what's not to like!

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No manual entry to get orders from eCommerce system to back end accounting and order fulfillment system so no order entry errors and no labor required.  Inventory and credit memos synchronize in both directions so, again, errors and labor reduced.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

Connex has been easy to use, reliable, flexible and error free for the past 5 years. We also appreciate the helpful support videos. We have been using it to flawlessly  integrate our BigCommerce store orders into QuickBooks Desktop. We recently chose to also use Connex for order fulfillment by integrating with ShipStation.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Nothing specific stands out that we dislike.

We have 2 BigCommerce stores with over 100 SKUs each. We needed a way to integrate our orders into  QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

I love the ability to customize how we want it synced with the rules engine. Overall great program and easy to setup and use. We use it multiple times a day to sync our ecommerce orders. Customer support is amazing. We had an issue with our orders not syncing the way we wanted it to and Jase with Connex Support worked with us to make sure we got it to work exactly the way we wanted it to!

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Nothing that comes  to mind. Everything that I thought we weren't able to do with connex was corrected by Connex support.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing our online orders to our ERP system. We have confidence that all our orders are being imported correctly to our inventory managment and accounting system.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

Connex is great for syncing our Shopify web orders to our accounting software so we have a clean and organized space for all our orders. The customer support team (shoutout Jase!) was super helpful in getting our connection working with all the rules in place that we needed for our specific business needs. We have been using connex for a few years and will continue too.

Connex can sometimes be hard to configure the rules you need.

Connex was able to take one shopify page and split our orders into different accounts, currencies and classes for ease of reporting and order management.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

This is the best syncing tool around to get data from an ecommerce store into Quickbooks.  We use Connex for reporting as well and the features have been exceptional with a nice modern user interface.  We have been a customer of Connex since 2017 when our previous vendor went out of business. We had done a lot of research on replacement vendors and Connex was the only one that had nearly every feature we needed.  Over the past 6+ years we've been using them, Connex has been receptive to all support requests and even added additional features that were necessary for us to grow when we had to change vendors.  Having been a customer for so long we have seen a lot of innovation by Connex as they continue to create new solutions that grow with us that we leverage every day.  The Connex product suite is critical to our success and continued growth!

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

There have been a few few changes to their support models and pricing, but we feel that after each change things have been better overall!  Connex has added more talented engineers to assist with issues and these teams are even more responsive now!

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connex is syncing hundreds of orders a day into Quickbooks and we don't know what we would do without Connex as this is allowing us to have data needed for reporting needs.

Honestly nothing - when it works - fine - but it keeps breaking

Customer service is terrible.   Last week we discovered it wasn't syncing.   Got the answer "try manual sync".  No luck.   Then "oh we switched to a new platform and you weren't ported over - try again".   No luck.   Now they say "oh - have to escalate to tier 2 - pay us an extra $500 and we will figure out why our terrible software isn't working?

We are trying to link QBO with Shopfiy - but Connex keeps breaking

**What do you like best about Connex?**

I like the *idea* of this software.... seems like it could be really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

We could never get it to work correctly. Since last June, we were trying to sync the Amazon settlement report as a summary sale. I worked on it for a while in June, contacting support (which is incredibly difficult), and it never got resolved. Fast forward to this year. I deleted everything and started from scratch, and after getting everything set up, instead of putting in one sales receipt for a settlement, it added hundreds of duplicate sales receipts. When I contacted support, she said she could see what was wrong and that she would contact the developer to fix it. I never heard back that it was fixed, and upon discovering over 350 sales receipts, I gave up and canceled the account. I didn't want to spend many more hours cleaning up the mess it made. The interface didn't work properly, either... I was unable to delete the logs, which is very annoying when trying to troubleshoot. 

Another reason we got this software was to manually load historical data, using the XML files that are downloaded from Seller Central. We could not get that to work, either.

I wish we could get our money back as the system didn't work from day 1, despite trying many times to get everything set up properly.

Find another solution.

No benefit, it cost us way more time and effort than any problem it solved.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

The platform works well. It integrates with amazon, woocommerce, shopify, and quickbooks. There are also several tools to import old orders and make it all work seamlessly in Quickbooks — even though it still takes you a long time to process all the orders once they are there.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Their customer experience has to be the worst ever. I have been with them for years when they suddenly tripled the cost without any warning. They just, one day, started charging $129 when it used to be $49. And then, only a month later, I got an email from the CEO telling me that even though I am now paying triple, my services are getting downgraded automatically from what I purchased. Not only will they be automatically downgraded, but I have no choice in the matter. And if I want the expanded services (which I thought I was already paying for), they would charge something like $1800 more? So the price for my services has suddenly and without warning gone up 500% from $49/month to $249/month. All this for a system that has no support phone number and makes you wait for days before they get back to you. No thanks. This company is nothing but corporate greed compiled with poor communication and desperate money grabs. PLEASE look for another tool, or you WILL regret it.

Avoid this company. They lack integrity and are the exact example of an unscrupulous company that we should not be supporting in this day and age.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool works fine. But it does create a bunch of extra headaches in QuickBooks when you still have to sync every order up with the appropriate deposit in your bank. It is definitely not worth the additional expense of $250/month. Just download and upload the orders from your system. That will probably be easier than this overpriced nonsense.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

We really like the time we've saved syncing Quickbooks Online to ShipStation, though that was not a smooth process when we first signed up for the software. The web interface and dashboard have improved greatly over the past year.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

All human interactions with Connex have been poor. From sales incorrectly identifying what we needed and then double charging us and then refunding us, it was a mess. Then, there was the arrogance of the engineer who should not be allowed to speak to customers. We had an issue where the shipping box on QBO wasn't working well when syncing to ShipStation and it was charging us tax on shipping and throwing our books off. This was a huge headache and the people at Connex offered no makegood for the inconvenience. They seem very short-sighted when it comes to that.

Time to process and order is much shorter now and we don't have to worry about errors in manual data entry. Everything is automated and arrives in the right places at the right times. It allows us to get to work on more important things.

Fairly easy to set up and use. Order previewer is quite handy when troubleshooting.

Support is NONEXISTANT. How can a tech company have such awful tech support??
Even trying to access your own account throws a server error. Service was fine for awhile but not now it seems.

Everything else. Price, how you have to pay to call, how you submit a support ticket. How they told us they are doubling the price and making us go to the Silver plan even though we don't want to do that.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

I love that Connex is flexible, customizable, and reliable. It just works, so I don't ever have to think about syncing my inventory and sales orders from Shopify to Quickbooks. It seems like my accounting team has infinite options for tailoring the connector to our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Honestly, we haven't found anything yet that we don't love about Connex, other than that we have to trigger it to run. If it would just run upon opening Quickbooks, that would be ideal.

Setup and implementation take a little bit of work, but once you get everything connected, mapped and working properly, it's a dream. Worth every minute of getting it right the first time so you don't have to think about it ever again.

We're synchronizing inventory and sales from Shopify to Quickbooks, and this tool has helped us to do so quickly, automagically, without all the manual processes we used before. So it saves us time and labor, and money in the form of fewer errors and more timely information. We quite honestly could NOT be doing the kind of business that we do, without Connex.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

We have been using Connex for Quickbooks to sync orders from ShipStation into QuickBooks for nearly 4 years. It has reduced our Sales Receipt error rate to zero. We are a small business and would not have been able to accomplish what we have without it. It sync’s several stores in ShipStation into Quickbooks. I was able to customize the import so the created Sales Receipt is complete and requires no further data entry. The software is set to automatically import orders from ShipStation every 30 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Occasionally an order does not import into QuickBooks and I am forced to log into Connex for Quickbooks and manually identify the order and tell Connex to import  it.

**Recommendations to others considering Connex:**

I set up Connex myself but I would recommend using Connex for the initial setup.

We had issues with too much labor involved with getting orders into QuickBooks and the associated error rates that go with manual data entry. That has all been eliminated.

We love that the connection is reliable and our orders transfer from BigCommerce into Quickbooks with ease. We also like that Connex customer service responds quickly to any needs that we we have, which, are very limited thanks to their great system.

I can't think of anything at this time. Connex continues to improve their UI and the overall process in general.

I highly recommend Connex for transferring sales orders from Big Commerce into Quickbooks.  The reliability has eased so much angst for our staff who previously never knew what to expet when it came time each week to do the manual order sync. I appreciate connex working to improve their system and stay relevant and working properly.

It is very easy for our staff to send order data into Quickbooks to ensure we are keeping up with the accounting portion of orders that need to be invoices or that are already paid.

I really like how the software works seamlessly. Really don’t have to do much at all.

So far I and my team have not found anything we dislike.  We struggled for a few years to find a solution that works and is reliable. So we are happy.

**Recommendations to others considering Connex:**

Definitely take up the free offer and try it before you buy it. If you use Infusionsoft and desktop version of QuickBooks I know it will work for you.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly we use the Connex Software to migrate our sales and accounting information from Infusionsoft over to our desktop version of QuickBooks. I know there are other solutions that will work with Quickbooks if we are using the cloud version, but we much prefer the desktop version of QuickBooks. So this software handles all of the transactions for us automatically.

So helpful for setting up our Connex (we had to make 2 accounts and sync to 1 QB file) and the woman who helped us was very knowledgable and answered all our questions.

Occasionally we get weird glitches with our Connex account that are unexplainable, so it's not necessarily a "set it and forget it" solution. Still saves us so much time though!

**What do you like best about Connex?**

It is a great integration app that our company is able to connect and sync our BigCommerce web stores and ShipStation connections to our multi-user QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise application. They have a strong online knowledge base we can consult and if we are still having issues or need setup assistance, their customer tech support is available.  We can adjust settings ourselves via a web portal or they can on their end.

Customer tech support has the option to schedule a call if we are experiencing an issue or a setup that can easily be fixed via phone and/or a remote session. Their staff is not only talented and knowledgable but patient. They do not just guess at solutions but research and consult their fellow staff member for guidance.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Connex has settings that may be too complex for most people to handle on their own. We periodically would have issues of it not syncing or failing to sync during certain times of the day. However, it does not happen every day.

But at least their customer tech support is easy to reach if manual sync does not work.

**Recommendations to others considering Connex:**

Purchase their onboarding for each connection you have. It is worth it and you have an expert with you every step of the way.

Our company is able to connect and sync our BigCommerce web stores and ShipStation connections to our multi-user QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise application. This makes it much easier for our order processing team not to have to manually enter orders from those connections.

Connex is incredibly helpful with setup, maintenance and support. They are very prompt at getting back to me, and their technology is very close to set-it-and-forget-it.

I would like a little more guidance on what some of the error messages mean when I get the daily emails, but usually it's something harmless.

This software has solved our accounting nightmare trying to import and reconcile Amazon transactions. What used to take hours now takes minutes. Support is always available and they respond very quickly. Thank you Connex!

**What do you like best about Connex?**

Connex for Quickbooks is great, it allows our Quickbooks Enterprise software to communicate with ShipStation and send tracking to our customers.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

The software works great, sometimes we have to manually refresh the Web Connector, but I think this is more of a Quickbooks issue than a Connex issue.

Implementation is simple!

**What do you like best about Connex?**

Connex is handling our setup very well with literally no issues (that aren't self inflicted); we anticipate over 10000 transactions per year.   The rules engine is quite powerful, everything from warehouse assignments to dealer name mapping to sku mapping to sales tax management.   Support has been responsive.  It's easy to troubleshoot setup issues.   It was relatively straightforward to confirm (prior to purchase) how the systems architecture could work, very few surprises once I dove in to get it going, and although I've spent a good amount of time getting it right, once should expect to be diligent and take the time to do it right -- this software responds well and does exactly what you need it to do.  What more can you ask?

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

The website interface is utilitarian and takes some getting used to for navigation.  The rules engine also takes some study, but once you're familiar with it everything is fine and available.  Support responses can be a bit difficult to follow/understand at times.  I think this is because Connex are familiar with the product from the inside and provide task oriented answers (do this then that) as opposed to explaining why or the slightly bigger picture. 

**Recommendations to others considering Connex:**

Take the time to scope out how your various software needs to work with each other, what the data flows are by transaction type and how you need the flows to work.  Do this before attempting to implement and review the systems flows with Connex personnel before beginning.  They can be very helpful.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have Connex integrating QB with Shipstation, Amazon MFN, Amazon FBA and Amazon Canada stores.  We are tracking multi-warehouse and running direct to consumer, b2b and our certified dealer reseller channels (including one big box via Shipstation).  Prior to Connex we had no way to manage multi-warehouse, had disparate software for each marketplace and much less automation.  As it currently stands, the system is fully operational and stable and I can focus on other important areas to move my business forward.

It works well and eliminates the vast majority of our data entry.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

There are some disconnects between the online documentation & current version of the software.  The rule engine, while powerful, can be a bit difficult to follow as the same field value will display differently on different screens.

**Recommendations to others considering Connex:**

Connex has a lot of capabilities & can be a little intimidating to configure.  Fortunately their support staff is knowledgeable & helpful and will insure you have a working software solution.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to automate the injection of our e-commerce orders into our accounting & production systems, merging them with the data from our other sales channels.  This reduces the amount of data entry & opportunity for errors.

This is tricky stuff and Connex has it down. They are knowledgeable and extremely responsive. They did all of the work for me.

There is nothing not to like they have been perfect for my company. I am not a fan of this review site and would have left if I didn't feel so strongly about the service I have received from Connex.

Great time saver, finally an app that acutely does what is says it will, actually that is an understatement, it does more than they claim.

**What do you like best about Connex?**

It has been very helpful in the integration and updating inventory.  We needed an application that would keep the inventory between physical storefront and online store updated to prevent selling items that were no longer in stock.

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Customer chat has been excellent! However I have had some issues trying to navigate the online help information.  I would like to see clearer step by step integration instructions including the fields that should be mapped to each other and how to best setup the QuickBooks file for integration mapping.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Correct inventory in the online store synced with physical store inventory to prevent out of stock orders from occurring.

That it integrated with quickbooks desktop

**What do you dislike about Connex?**

Everything. We spent months trying to get setup and it never worked properly.

**What problems is Connex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to integrate Skubana to Quickbooks. We went with the solution because it was cheaper and supposed to work seamlessly but it didn't. There is 1 support person who charges $200 by the hour to fix problems with the software that shouldn't have been there to begin with. It isn't a user friendly interface either, the whole thing was just a waste of time.

Each company that we work with has a unique set of requirements (use case). We try our very best to work with customers to meet their desired outcomes. 

However, Connex is not custom software; meaning sometimes, Connex may not be the right fit for everyone, unfortunately. The $200 hourly rate referred to is for custom development for feature requests or customization not currently available or for requests currently beyond the scope of what Connex can accomplish.

We constantly make performance enhancements and updates to Connex on a nearly weekly basis based upon customer feedback. Therefore, I invite you to please consider checking Connex out again in the future. I'd greatly appreciate the opportunity to make things right.
