As a real estate developer, Built has become a close ally. When it comes to human resources or financial, built has made it easier and it has really reduce the workmanship.

Sometimes navigation is difficult - to know where to go to run a report.

**What do you like best about Built?**

Without a doubt, the best part of Built for Teams is their service team. BFT is so new and is still being built out, so for our purposes there are a lot of work-arounds required to make the system fit our needs. Erika, Jacob, and Darcie were incredibly responsive and dedicated a huge amount of their time to meet with us and problem solve. If we had a question they didn't know the answer to, they researched further and got back to us with a response every single time. Their involvement was undoubtably the deciding factor as to why we purchased our BFT subscription.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

The site isn't seamless to navigate. Unfortunately, getting to different screens requires a lot of clicks, and making manual edits is time consuming simply because it takes so long to get to each screen. Another major hurdle is that the People profiles and Position profiles are not totally independent of one another, and it's messy trying to organize data. For example, when BFT is synced with our HRIS, some data imports to the People profile and some data imports to the Position. This makes it difficult to seperate the two and clearly track position management vs. people management, which is a major reason why we wanted a Position Management system.

Position Management (vs. our current HRIS that only tracks People Management)

**What do you like best about Built?**

Built for Teams has been easy to set up and view our Hierarchy within the organization. Our employees as well as new hires have complemented having a user-friendly platform so they can navigate and view the organizational chart. It is simple to update or add new employees. Additionally, I wanted to note that we are not utilizing the many features within the platform due to overlap with our other applications - so I cannot speak to the platform as a whole.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

Although there is an ease of use within the platform, it would be ideal if it woudl integrate with our HR & Payroll Software completely for fewer manual updates.

**What problems is Built solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Built for Teams is helping both our internal employees (including those onboarding) navigate the organization.

**What do you like best about Built?**

Built for Teams is easy to use and set up for manual uploads/changes or direct feeds from ADP. Our Built representative Jacob Wolfe was great at training us on the platform and showcasing all the features.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

Connection to the preferred name field would be ideal for nicknames so when an org chart is shared those reviewing know the ideal name someone would like to be called as well as their official name if looking up their name for email or searching in Microsoft Teams.

**What do you like best about Built?**

Love the click and drag functionality. We like that we can share the URL for the org chart as read only and all employees can access our org chart to easily familiarize themselves with the organization. We even share with new hires just before they join and have recieved great feedback on how helpful it was to be able to understand the structure, see photos of team and more prior to joining our organization.  We are also are working on a connection with our HRIS software so the chart is always in sync with our current staff. Their customer support has been great and ultra responsive so far!

**What do you dislike about Built?**

Right now the manual updating is the main negative, that should be resolved soon with the new Paylocity integration. We knew the connection with Paylocity was not yet live when we implemented this software. Next up I'd like to be able to provide a login to managers and have them be able to create their own org charts for strat planning vs. me having to create a chart for them.

**What problems is Built solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to keep our org chart in powerpoint which was incredibly manual. Then we went to Pingboard but when we switched our payroll software we lost our connection to Pingboard and to setup an account not through ADP marketplace was very expensive. Built for Teams was our solution (replacement) to Pingboard and it has been much easier to use and more cost effective. From an organization perspective the best benefit is the visiblity we are able to easily provide by sharing the link with all employees and new employee onboarding (as shared in my prior response)

**What do you like best about Built?**

Our previous org chart software was clunky and difficult to use. Since switching to Built for Teams, I am saving so much time and don't have to manually enter any data, due to the connection with our HR system ADP Workforce Now.  

Implementation and set-up was easy as well.  Customer service has been quick to thourougly answer any questions I may have.

I haven't found any downsides, everything has been great so far!

Built for Teams completely transformed our org chart process.  Before we weren't able to visualize potential changes to our organization, now we can move people around and see just what that looks like.

**What do you like best about Built?**

Our company is rapidly growing and adding to our team. Other org chart tools did not allow us to account for open positions, or easily move people around as we visualize support structure for this growth. Implementation was seamless, and the customer support I receive is next to none! They respond within minutes of my inquiry, are solution focused, and friendly to boot.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

My only complaint is when adding new headcount, the pay data doesn't populate if the new position is a tilte that exists in our database. There is likely a way to solution for this, I just haven't had the time to delve into it further.

Creating an org chart that accounts for all the open positions we have and will be adding.

**What do you like best about Built?**

The staff likes that they can submit their PTO easily and get usually get a quick response. It makes PTO tracking easy. Also, it is very easy to understand and walk new hires through. Intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

I understand why it is in place, but when a Staff member needs to take PTO back the day remains on the calendar. I have to remind them to read the note to ensure them that the day was given back. Also, it would be nice for our Staff to have the ablity to schedule into the next year using their Carry Over PTO.

**What problems is Built solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone likes the quickness and ease of submitting PTO. We previously had a paper system to submit for PTO. The calendar is helpful when scheduling meetings to see who will be on PTO. The Org chart is helpful, especially for new hires.

**What do you like best about Built?**

The first benefit is that BuildForTeams is typically very user friendly and has become easier to use over time.  The second benfit is that if you need help, thye are available and supportive to even the most rudimentary requests.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

BuiltForTeams has performed great for us, but other service providers on this platform may offer more services (albeit in a less user-friendly format).  BuiltForTeams is great, but may lose a customer if they are seeking various other services.  Every company runs this risk...you can't please them all.

**What problems is Built solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easy to manage our team availability and PTO time spent overall.  We can see the calendar on Outlook if we want, or in the system itself.  It is an efficient and effective way of managing this delicate topic among employees.

**What do you like best about Built?**

Easy to use and intuitive to learn for admins and employees. I have not had to train or show anyone how to use the Built for Teams and was not trained how to use it myself, but was easy enough to get it running.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

Confusing how to remove PTO that was already approved/used. Had an employee use accrued time-off unnecessarily during maternity leave and was unsure how to reverse to see what was accrued before her leave.

**What problems is Built solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Built for Teams mostly for accruing/submitting vacation and sick time. We also use the org chart so employees can see the company hierarchy. We do not use it outside these 2 functions.

It is so easy to use. From the employee seeing what time off they have and will accumulate, to approvals and adjustments, its great.

That its separate from my payroll company (ADP). I wish the information could automatically be imported to the employee paychecks/website so its all in one.

My payroll company doesn't have a good automatic way for me to track and approve employees time off.

Built For Teams has allowed us to create custom PTO policies for our team.

They prefer for you to use their chat feature for technical support. Sometimes, a phone call would be easier.

We used to track PTO on an excel spreadsheet, which was hard to keep up-to-date. Built For Teams has completely solved this issue for us.

Our favorite feature of Built for Teams is the automatic updating of our ORG CHART!  We update ADP and Built for  Teams takes care of the rest.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

We can't wait for Built for Teams to pull preferred name from ADP!

**What problems is Built solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Built for Teams  managing our ORG CHART benefits us as we are growing the company quickly adding new associates.  Another problem solved is providing associates information about team members in their geographic area.  As a remote global company this assists us with connecting associates and building relationships.

The back end is not always straightfoward for the administrators.

Good user interface.
Lots of options and felxibility for creating policies.
Easy to read color coded calendar.
Allows for multiple locations with seperate policies if nessesary.
Option to appove multiple requests from multiple staff at once.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

It would be nice to seperate PTO (Personal Time Off) request type from a WFH (Work from Home) request type instead of making WFH a PTO type of request.  It could use a more custom reporting options.

the app does not show the calendar.  when linking with an email calendar not everyone showed on calendar and would not update. expl calendar would show the sevice dep. but not the parts,sales or admin time off.

none that i know of. but hopfully they will put the calendar on the app.

Cannot think of any downsides to BFT.  Very user-friendly and affordable for government entities.

BFT keeps accurate leave balances and has helped our office tremendously.  Benefits that we have realized are accurate accruals, information available to all employees, and tracks leave requests.

I am not sure if I have any dislikes when using the desktop or phone app. I will say that always having to log into it can get annoying and time-consuming even if you request that the app keeps you logged in.

I am not sure as when I started we already used built for teams. I can imagine it has been used to keep on files organized for the managers and HR so they can see all the documents in one place.

I like the ease of using the tool for submitting requests for time off and how it helps me keep track of what earned time off I have used up. It is also easy to get my requests approved quickly.

It is difficult to find any downsides to using Built  for Teams. It has been so user-friendly that I have not had issues with it. Maybe if I change my mind about time off, then it took a minute to figure out how to change the request once submitted.

Built for Teams solves the problem of tracking time off each year. It made it easier to get needed approvals for time off while also tracking if it is for personal, sick, or vacation.

Teams is very easy to use. I can easily see how many hours of PTO I have and can request time off quickly. I like seeing the calendar with the whole team's PTO. That is helpful.

I can only request off a half-day (4 hours) or a whole day (8 hours). I wish I could take off 2 hours at the end of the day or for an appointment at any time of the work day.

Built for Teams is helping the company I work for manage the entire team's PTO. Everyone can clearly see how many hours of PTO they have, which is extremely helpful.

Built for Teams is an easy way to manage personal time from home - I am more remote than other coworkers, and I am able to schedule time in/out of the office with the features provided which optimize my ability to connect with others.

We love PTO! We love the customizable reports that you can pull at any time. We also love filing away all employee records on the Documents tab. Built has improved our workflow and helped us move away from spreadsheets to keep track of data.

We wish that we had more financial capabilities such as expense reporting. It would make it easier for our staff to have one website to enter PTO, contact information changes, and expenses. We love the Documents tab but wish to organize the files or archive old documents from previous years to avoid confusion.

If you are looking for an all-encompassing HR Management System, look no further; Built for Teams will satisfy your needs.

Onboarding of staff is much smoother. We collected compliance documents by pen and paper, but now they can complete these online in Built. We can keep track of PTO, salary, and contact information. Built added a new tab called Bio, which allows us to track staff licensure more closely. We also love all staff birthdays and hire anniversaries on the dashboard.

Built for Teams quickly displays how much time off I have accrued, how many more I will accrue this year, and how much I have used.  It is very easy to submit a time-off request.  I just requested a week off, and it took me a total of 90 seconds total.

Nothing.  If I have to be picky, the site could be a little more exciting, but that is unimportant.

I recommend Built for Teams for managing time off.  Simple and easy to use.

The main purpose I use Built for Team for is managing time off, sick time, etc.  I like it because it is super easy to use to submit time-off requests, and as a manager, it is easy to review and approve requests. As an HR Manager, Built For Teams has completely changed how my team tracks their hours worked, submits their timesheets, and requests time off.  Built For Teams has made my job so much more efficient and streamlined. It has also saved employees' time in not having to deal with emails back and forth. It increases team transparency now that everyone can easily see when people have time off scheduled. The program is user-friendly and easy to teach to new team members.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

I don't particularly like that I cannot stop the timer for my employees. It is an inconvenience to message the Built For Teams team to complete this task. The BFT team is very quick at responding to me, though.

Don't be afraid to make the switch! Built For Teams makes the onboarding transition easy.

Built is very easy to learn and use, and its modular construction allows you to pay for only what you need. For a small business, this is perfect.

**What do you dislike about Built?**

The only thing that I dislike is in regards to submitting PTO based on a rigid schedule. Example - Employee A works four ten-hour shifts, M-Th., and is assigned to this schedule in Built. If employee A needs to switch their shift for any reason and work T-F, and needs to take PTO time on Friday, Built will not allow the employee to do so, as they are not assigned to the T-F schedule. This situation requires the Built administrator to make the PTO adjustment manually, which is very easy to do but does require manual intervention.

PTO tracking, employee onboarding documents, recruitment efforts consolidation. We recently hired two new employees and their onboarding was much easier and more efficient.
