  ### 1. Solid platform for sharing videos internally

**What do you like best about Allego?**

Allego makes it easy to drag-and-drop content (for example videos, thumbnails, PowerPoint decks) into the platform and then rearrange it into a helpful layout for the users. The content organization has improved significantly with recent updates, such as the ability to add content directly from within a Channel rather than having to navigate to a different place to find the content, and then opt to list it in the required Channel. 

There is good back-end user management allowing set-up of Department Groups, Teams, etc., which then feeds nicely to content permissions meaning users aren't overwhelmed with content when opening the platform. The ability to set Team Managers who have permission to review submissions and provide feedback is a great tool for onboarding new Sales team members.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

The UI is clunky and often unintuitive to navigate. It can be difficult to find content due to the way content is organized on the back-end (for example, some Collections won't appear in the homepage panel unless they meet certain conditions). The search functions also aren't excellent, meaning that searching for content doesn't always show the results you're looking for. 

I'd like to see new tools added to display content and test users in different ways, and also to display the overall learning journey in a more user-friendly manner. Currently users can scroll through a 'course overview,' but I have seen other platforms present an entire course in a cleaner and more manageable manner, with the ability to set custom drop-down sections for example.

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

Consider whether you're looking for a tool that focuses on video-format content, or whether you're looking for a solution that offers a much wider range of learning experiences for the end-user. Allego does have these functionalities, but they are limited compared to other platforms.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allego provides a solution for presenting a large collection of video content in a manageable way. It is great to have a go-to system for the teams to find enablement videos and courses regardless of who in the firm has created and shared these. It is particularly useful as an onboarding tool when we want to get new starters through a considerable amount of content.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

I love that it gives me the opportunity to collaborate with my team and share content that they can access at their fingertips.  As a leader it helps me at being much more efficient at leading my team.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

I do not have any issues with using Allego. I do wish that it was available to all my team members but that is something that will come eventually. I wish it would turn into an APP so I can share content while I'm on the go .

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not seen any problems at this time. The sharing and training could be a bit more user friendly and more interactive I think so it's easier to navigate the system .

**What do you like best about Allego?**

My favorite part of Allego is that it is an interactive and engaging tool that allows for video responses, which is extremely helpful when learning/practicing sales skills and product knowledge, and even for communicating messages. I also love the continued support we get from our partners at Allego, and how our feedback is heard, which is evident by the updates that Allego is constantly making to make it even better!

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

I think there is room for improvement in stats and reporting and how data is pulled and organized (from a training perspective). I also think there could be improvements as far as setting up the flow of courses/learning programs (i.e. having an option for business days as opposed to just calendar days for when the next course starts or having an option for a course in a program to be assigned after when the previous course is assigned as opposed to finished).

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

Anything you need to know or want to see, simply reach out and ask your Allego partner! They are extremely helpful and a demo is probably the best way to learn about it.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, we've solved the problem of having a consistent onboarding process at the corporate level for our new hires in sales.  Benefits include making this process more consistent and we've received a lot of great feedback from our new sellers of all abilities, whether the program helped them to refresh skills they already have or build a foundation in what is a new field to them. Everybody loves the interactive quizzes and exercises and has said this has really helped them not only engage with the content and make it more fun, but helps them gauge their own learning and understanding.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

My favorite feature is creating a program that automatically assigns the next course or activity to a participant following my established deadlines.  It's super helpful to break up large training programs into bite-sized chucks and know that as the learner completes a portion at their own pace, the next activity will automatically become assigned without any additional effort on my part.  

I also appreciate the ability to view a participant's status at any time, compare to others also assigned the same content, and overall get good analytics on all of their scores and activities at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

The reporting is there but can be a bit clunky to find exactly what you want when you need it. It takes practice.  I have seen improvements made since launching Allego. However, I feel there is still additional work to ensure the correct data is easy to find and visually displayed in a dashboard format vs. CSV downloads.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we did not have any formal onboarding training program or way to track who has interacted with what content and to what extent. Adding Allego has given both Sales Leadership and Sales Enablement visibility into our seller's capabilities and skillsets.  While adopting a system takes time, we quickly deployed a standardized corporate onboarding program so that brand new hires could be indoctrinated with the company and understand our value propositions in our various industries rapidly.  The use of Allego has helped us free up time from a front-line manager who previously was responsible for general training and allowed us to also focus on developing sales foundational skills and methodologies with our new sellers from the very get-go.

We now have a repeatable process designated by seller role that we assign to new hires in a matter of minutes.  Allego affords us a self-paced onboarding program that we can then follow up with more live and interactive discussion sessions.  It's helpful to have the learning done in advance of the discussions and role-play exercises.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

Their platform is everything you want and didn't know you wanted wrapped in an easy-to-use bundle, with a support team light years above any other in the industry. They continue to innovate constantly and make improvements you didn't know you needed, which allow you to grow how you utilize the platform to train and support your sales teams.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

There is nothing to dislike about this software, the team, or the company. The one slight challenge could be the price, but it's well worth it for teams that want to invest in their sales and client-facing and believe in overall peer collaboration.

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

Take the leap to implement the platform - you will not regret it! Make sure you have leaders on board with the full capabilities and you are going to see a change in how people interact with training, tools and collaboration. There are so many restrictions within the platform the administrator can implement to allow certain capabilities to certain people and its not an open free for all. So if you are a part of a strict/regulated company you can still make it work for you and your needs.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to access just-in-time training, tools, and resources. Easier to do sample product pitches, share best practices and overall personal wins. 
A platform that allows users to be creators and collaborators to suit their needs which expands HOW the platform can be used to benefit the needs of the different audiences.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

I like the ease of being able to upload content and share ideas.  The Allego platform is very intuitive and easy to use.  Even non-technical sales folks have no difficulty learning how to use it.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

I have only been using it a short time; at this point, the only real improvement I would like to see is an easier way to attach a URL to a video upload.  Other than that small improvement, we are very happy with the platform.

Jump in and get started.  It really works.

The problems we are solving are Knowledge Sharing, Training, and Sales Idea Collaboration in a virtual world where people are very disconnected.  This gives us the opportunity to socialize around sales ideas and sales improvement for all team members while not being physically together in an office.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

To Allego represents a much more human approach to remote asynchronous learning than the standard corporate LMS. "People want to learn from people they trust" and "Youtube not Hollywood" are certainly the way that the next generation of sellers wants to learn and we've had great feedback from everyone tired of their mind-numbing corporate learning experiences. Not a native content creator? Allego's customer success team is outstanding in showing you how to adapt to this new paradigm. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

Allego's approach requires that you recruit 'real people' from management and your teams to create content. This could require significant culture shift and change management depending on your organization. Allego accounts for this in their Customer Success work; however ultimate success will require commitment and strong internal support.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're deploying a sales learning platform both internally and to channel partners across the world. Still in early days but the buy-in of channel partner execs has been fantastic so far. Everyone excited to try a new approach to distributed learning.

I enjoy the format and how the order of the courses fall in line with my role.
The ease of navigating through Spark via Allego is great as well.
I'm not familiar with other competitiors.

Honestly, there's not any part of this software that I dislike.
Everything seems to be working properly.
This product is great how it is in my opinion.
No suggested improvements at this time.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

Allego is a fantastic tool to use for things that may be too short for a phone call but better explained than an email. I use it a lot to do competitive analysis and explain the difference between competitors' products. Additionally, we use it a lot every week for learning as well. One of our VPs will develop different sales concepts that are easy to understand in bite-size pieces.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

I have yet to find any downside that is associated with Allego. There are a few things internally with our company, but our compliance area is currently working through that!

Sales concepts, competitive analysis, keeping in touch with our field force. All of these things are being handled with Allego now, and we are much better for it!

Love how if an employee is away, we can still push a video their way to provide the on-the-spot coaching "while fresh in my mind".

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

Little leary about giving specific coaching to an employee that requires back and forth as don't always want tougher conversations to be recorded and don't want the employee to feel uneasy.

Try it, once you get used to the change you can learn to embrace it and it will make your coaching job much more efficient.

Staff and time are never on outside, with Allegro can provide coaching videos to help the employee even in the event they are away or our schedules don't allign.

Allego is a great portal that allows all training content such as videos, PPT or PDF collateral to be available either from a work PC or via a mobile device.
The ability to search for content. Browsing through menus all though good can be a little tedious, especially when your not sure what you're looking for without having to browse through the menus.

I'm not sure if this is a Allego problem, but the way the content is displayed could be better for navigation.

Great opportunity to show my face in a short quick video to advisors, rather than just an email.  The video function and edit abilities make it very professional.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

It is time consuming building a video, especially when trying to avoid looking like I am reading a script.  Would be great if we could have a teleprompter option.

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

Will take quite a bit of time at first when preparing and recording videos.  Does get easier.  Don't script, but make notes.

Need a way to get in front of a large number of advisors from different firms.  Once I prepare a single presentation, I can share with a number of other firms.  Waiting to see final results, but I know it is being noticed.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

I like how customizable it is to measure and score reps on what is important to you in the sales process. I also really enjoy working with their amazing cs team.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

The calls are not completely mobile-friendly which makes it a nuisance for my sales manager to be able to review calls on the go.

Coaching and Accountability. These coaching and scorecards help drive rep performance to the sales process and provide a level of accountability. This is also a great training tool to coach newer reps on the process.

I enjoy the ease and simplicity of sharing, along with the tracking ability of the tool.

The Allego tool is a bit limited when it comes to video creation. I have found it most beneficial to record a video outside of Allego and upload it into Allego to share with others.

Allego is an excellent means of communicating differently and allows for a visual medium to create content in either short or long segments

Allego allows for me as a salesperson to communicate differently with my customers and prospects. The visual medium of delivery allows for more than just an email.

I really like that we can consolidate the places our sales team needs to go to a single integrated experience with Allego.

The people at Allego are great. Our CSM is top notch.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

We are still early on in our journey and have not found areas of dislike yet.  Some of the newly acquired technology is still being harmonized as can be exepexted.

We are making it easier for our sales team to  upskill and collaborate with their internal coaches to ensure better proficiency.  We also find the video outreach and digital sales rooms  make us better virtual sellers.

having to re-authenticate every time I go to the site (this may be a requirement on our side).

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

The speed of change in the markets and the amount of information coming at Advisors and their clients is going to continue to expand.  Organizations need to be able to rely on trustworthy sales tools like Allego to provide their Advisors with the content they miss every day and week, which provides the Advisors and the teams that support them with the confidence that they can always leverage Allego if they feel like they've missed a meeting, a teach-in, a webcast on any topic that is important to our clients.

The integrated platform with metrics and real-time coaching capability drives impact. Allego provides tremendous support with adoption, and as a leader, I have appreciated the strategic support the leadership team at Allego has offered to help shape our distribution strategy

I do not have anything in the "dislike" bucket. I continue to work with Allego and my sales enablement team to identify best practices with the tools and various approaches.

Given the evolving nature of sales and the challenges the pandemic has created with selling, Allego has been a critical partner.  With the shift to a more virtual selling approach, the Allego platform has allowed our sales team to stay visible and relevant. Allego isn't simply a resource library. Our sales team needed a way to receive business-critical information in manageable 'bites', presented in a compelling video format. The Allego team is very hands-on and able to assist as needed.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

The manager scoring or feedback to a sales representative provides an overall grade or score (number of stars). The system does not allow us to restart the overall grade or score for a sales rep. It would be helpful to have the ability to have scores by year, or as of a specific date window. For example, we assigned courses at the beginning for them to test the system. Those grades are part of their overall scoring and cannot be changed.

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

We have a very small sales leadership team. The Allego team was very helpful onboarding us to the platform and has had regular scheduled touchpoints with us throughout.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a need to know that our sales representatives understood our critical business items; strategies, compensation plans, product offerings, messaging. The ability to load a short video presentation they could watch, practice and present back to their manager for coaching and guidance has been invaluable.

It was great for consuming content as an individual contributor - sharing ideas, best practices, and product training. Very easy to search the courses for topics that I was interested in learning more about, alongside the courses I was required to complete.

Nothing to report here. I found it very user friendly and easy to navigate.

Training can be very overwhelming, especially when you are first onboarding. It was easy to gain access to a wide variety of training materials and information on product enhancements at any point. The platform is easy for initial users to learn how to use! The site is visually pleasing and shows what the user needs to complete in an excellent way.

The users often have technical difficulities when trying to record and upload videos which discourages them from doing their assignments. The work on the back end for admin is quite intense and you need a lot of knowledge about the Allego platform to be able to do things with out an Allego employee helping.

Allego allows people to complete their learning on their own time! This pairs very well with the current state of the pandemic and working from home. The recording exercises allow folks to practice more than they ever had before!

The customer service is the best-   between scheduled calls and questions on the fly,  our Allego Team helps us out and quickly, too.  Caitie McNichols is great!

At the start,  maneuvering about the software was a bit confusing -just like any software application.   Finding what you need is not always as intuitive as you hope.

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

Be sure to designate one person as the administrator of Allego.   One person that "owns" this resource to manage the courses, channels, and oversee content.

Training during COVID was trying so Allego gave us a good platform while quarantined.   It also provides a way to assign pre-work for meetings or in-person training.

I love the features in Allego that allow Sellers to focus on selling: video messaging to customers, sharing of customer-facing content, and getting enabled when and how they want & needed it when prepping for customer meetings or in follow up based on the conversation had.  We are also leveraging the opportunity to put local language subtitles to the enablement video content we share - a real win for global teams.

I also appreciate the way Allego support us as a team with the rollout and beyond and listen to our ideas & feedback.

The only minor nit I have is that when you use Allego as an admin you need to activate your settings to edit upon logging in every time. I appreciate the reason behind this, but it is a little frustrating. I believe there is a near-term roadmap solution to this, so this makes me even happier.

All in one system for training and content. The video aspect helps build a culture within a very dispersed sales force, and helps people get to know people within the organization. Also for a very on the go salesforce, they have to ability to go back and watch live meetings they had to miss due to being tied up in the operating room. We can get new and updated content out to our salesforce very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

Sharing directly from the app would be helpful instead of copying a link to past in another location. Also being able to share more than one piece of content at a time directly from the app this would reduce time for the users. There could be more layers of folders/categories.

We recently had 3 different places we were storing collateral and there was a lot of confusion throughout our salesforce the right place to go to get the most current content. We have used Allego to consolidate those 3 platforms into one. We also started to use Allego for education on new product launches and engagement of our new reps we have hired on. We are currently looking at the talent within our organization and engagement on Allego has been a factor in assessing that.

I think the efficiencies Allego builds into the training world are second to none.  In a world where most teams are operating lean, it begs the question, "how can we do better with less?"  Enter - Allego!   Allego is a user-friendly platform that can set the learner on their journey from anywhere at any time.  The efficiencies in the platform are super important as it allows the experience to be standardized and automated.  Gone are the days of binders and manual checklists!

The downside of Allego is that we haven't taken this platform global yet.  I look forward to finding ways to expand Allego's global footprint to my colleagues.

We are solving efficiencies with onboarding our new hires while providing them the confidence they need to be successful.  The benefit of Allego is that it allows the learner to be more proactive in their journey while providing the visibility necessary to the key stakeholders. The ability to manage various types of content makes Allego unique. The ability to create videos adds a whole new dimension to training and retention. Hearing from subject matter experts as well as peers is huge!

Some users find that they don't like to create videos, camera shy. The feedback tends to be that this is something that can be overcome, and when it is, users really like the engagement.

We are rolling out a new training program on a key topic that is very broad. We need to engage our internal audience on their time and with small bites of content to get involvement. Allego allows us to do that even through their cell phones.

Allego meets my needs all of my needs: a platform for home study modules, an on-demand library repository, sharing information through easy to create videos, and as a coaching tool.

Some of the administrative tasks are not intuitive, but there is online and phone help and I have an awesome account rep who is incredibly responsive when I need help.

We are using Allego for our new hire home study training platform. We use it for developmental programs by housing our on-demand library there. I have used it for a clinical knowledge competition for our reps. We have also started using it as a coaching tool where reps record role-plays and managers give feedback.

Allego's intuitive interface and client support model makes creating and curating content a breeze. The ability to comment on videos makes this the ideal tool for peer-to-peer learning and asynchronous coaching.

Allego isn't a full-blown Learning Management System just yet, but they are clearly working toward that end and I'd imagine that within the next few iterations, it may be able to replace whatever LMS is being used concurrently.

It's vital that our team get comfortable in front of a webcam and Allego has really helped us to create opportunities for the team to get out of their comfort zone and share short videos that we're able to curate and use for future reference/training.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

Using allego for just-in-time/adhoc content for and from our producers. We also utilize the learning programs feature.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

Lack of customizable reports. Also, when adding new users to groups, they always get the old content/tasks assigned to them --  would like to be able to bypass that.

**Recommendations to others considering Allego:**

There are many innovative ways to use Allego. Pilot and try new things.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allego has allowed coaches to reduce their time on coaching calls and focus on coaching activity in Allego.

the internal sharing of ideas has been a success for us, having one centralized location for our content makes it easy to access in the field and office.

More editing features when creating content would be great, however there have been many positive changes to the application over the time period we have been using the tool have been great.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

We like that the platform is intuitive for our training participants. We can provide a streamlined and interactive training experience for our clients using Allego.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

We cannot complete bulk uploads of our participant lists, so we rely on Allego support to do that for us.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of manual email reminders to our participants. Automatic emails can be scheduled through Allego using a Learning Program, which saves us time!

How easy it is to reach multiple people with one video. The support team and Kate Hewig are very helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

I would like the digital sales room to be included with the original purchase of the program.

We have competitions that people can complete in their own time. We are able to conduct product launches with sales persons that are across the country.

integrated video and distribution platform all integrated.  Works well from a smart phone or desktop device.  Changes how we sell and follow up with both clients and prospects

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

We want to private label the interface, without the Allego badging.  Being able to customize our coloring and logos is important to us.  Not sure what else I would add here

Commit to using it.  It will change your sales process

Marketing personalized messages using video, while getting notifications to know if we have engagement with the prospect.  Also, helps us organize the content we share

**What do you like best about Allego?**

The learning management component is clearly the most extensive part of the software. We love how easy it is to create content and share it internally with new hires and externally with customers/prospects.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

It's a pretty awesome tool with a laundry list of features. I guess if I had to say something it took me a few days to learn how to navigate around the tool but, once I learned it became 2nd nature.

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are onboarding sales reps faster than ever. Our time to first discovery call went from 45 days to about 25 days which in our world can mean an extra $30-50k of revenue per rep.

**What do you like best about Allego?**

The service we get with our account manager is top-notch. She is always there to help us; if she doesn't know what is going on, she will find a way to help us.

**What do you dislike about Allego?**

The reporting is not always easy.  There are a lot of options, and they are not always clear on what one to use. Also, with the qcards I wish there was a way to go to individual questions rather than scroll through all the questions to get to the one you need

**What problems is Allego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Allego for pre and post-work for training. We utilize the videos to have our new reps practice their pitches to practitioners.  We also use the flash drill to test what they have learned from the training classes they have attended.
