InstaQuote
InstaQuote runs the admin side of a UK trade business so the tradesperson can stay on the tools. A job is typed, spoken or photographed and comes back as an itemised quote priced from the trade's own rates, and a typed one-room job is usually priced in 10 to 20 seconds. A photo gives the rough sizes and what is in the room, then the trade types or says the real sizes, and anything assumed is marked to check. The quote goes to the customer by WhatsApp, text or email. The customer reads it on their phone, signs it and pays the deposit, and the deposit books the job into the next free days. If the date does not suit, the customer moves it themselves. When the job is marked done the balance invoice goes out, and late payers are chased on day 1, 7, 14 and 21 with a pay link each time, stopping the moment they pay. VAT, CIS and the construction reverse charge are worked out on every quote and invoice. Bank statements are matched to invoices and expenses, with a running figure to put aside for tax. Merchant prices can be pasted or photographed and split into labour and materials with the trade's markup, booked jobs can be copied to Google Calendar, and the trade's own certificates are kept with expiry reminders. Each of 35 UK trades starts with its own price list, from plastering, building and roofing to electrical, plumbing and heating, and every figure can be changed. Every plan has the full product, priced as one flat monthly fee for the whole crew rather than per person, with a 7-day free trial and an optional trade website. InstaQuote takes no fee on the card payments a trade collects, and Stripe's own card rate still applies. Everything can be downloaded on any plan, even after cancelling.
