What do you like best about Lightspeed Classroom Management?

Lightspeed Classroom for teachers, giving teachers control and monitoring students browsing in a classroom or during distant learning. The safety check feature is amazing at identifying possible self harm and violent students. This allows us to early identify and get needed assistance to students that may go unnoticed by other administrative and observational means. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lightspeed Classroom Management?

Some reporting is not as in depth as I would like. As a security analyst I prefer to be able to dig down in data. Searching for groups that are nested under other groups doesn't not work well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Lightspeed Classroom Management:

Plan the rollout and training as well as the structure for filtering (ie. OU). The Google integration is easy to use and allows for intuitive filtering if structured correctly. It has made our process so much easier and streamlined many of the "how we do business" processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lightspeed Classroom Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Distant learning filtering for K-12, Classroom monitoring for teachers, safety checks of students for self harm and violence. Additionally the administration was able to have reporting at their fingertips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lightspeed Classroom Management?

It makes monitoring your students extremely easy. The list view that updates the website that your students are currently on works so much better than just having a thumbnail view of the computer screen. The heat map that shows which of your students are going to sites the most versus others who are concentrated on a single site is extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lightspeed Classroom Management?

Unlike other forms of classroom management software, this does not have as many administrative or tools ITs can use. You can't remote control computers. You can't log in to a whole lab at once if you use generics. Various other things missing. This is mainly for just watching what your students are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This software works great if you are just looking for something that will allow your teachers or users to monitor their students. It's extremely simple to use. It can tie in to your SIS or Google Classroom. There isn't any big install on your end because it is all hosted on AWS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
