Unified Communications with Room for Modernization

I like how Thirdlane Connect is a true all-in-one unified communications platform designed for business, not just a consumer chat app with extra features. It combines our phone system, team messaging, and video meetings seamlessly, which really stands out. I love the voicemail-to-email and call recording features because they are simple, reliable, and just work without strange setup or extra plugins. Being able to pull up past calls for training, compliance, or follow-ups has been very useful.

Powerful Flexibility and Seamless Call Management

I love Thirdlane Connect's call-flipping feature, which allows me to move a call from my mobile device to my desk phone seamlessly without ending the call. Its ability to consolidate chat, voice, and video into one interface helps eliminate 'app fatigue,' enabling transitions from chat to video calls effortlessly. I appreciate the software's unified indexing feature, which lets me search across SMS, team chats, and call logs simultaneously, making it invaluable for handling large amounts of data. The fact that it performs the same across all devices, whether Mac, Windows, Linux, or mobile, is a major plus, providing total device freedom. Thirdlane Connect's open standards, like SIP/WebRTC, make it highly compatible with various hardware and CRM, allowing flexibility rather than locking me into specific systems. I also enjoy how it bridges communication with other tools like Salesforce, Google Workspace, and integrates with Zapier to automate tasks. For the end user, the setup is very easy and intuitive, especially if the backend is pre-configured, giving it a familiar 'Slack' experience.

Unifies Communication, But Demands Expertise

I love how Thirdlane Connect consolidates communication tools into one interface, allowing for direct and group chats with secure file sharing, as well as making and receiving calls through a softphone on both desktop and mobile. Hosting video conferences and sharing screens is a breeze. I appreciate the seamless escalation of a conversation from text chat to a voice call or video conference with just a click, eliminating productivity disruptions. The ability to flip an active call from my desk phone to the mobile app without interrupting the call is an underrated productivity hack. Even the initial setup was very easy for me.
