Ziflow Reviews & Product Details

We started using Ziflow after the shared folder concept we were using on livedrive became a nightmare with everybody all trying to open the same document, then comment on the same thing that other people were already commenting or asking for a fix that to a document that was currently getting done. This has improved this completely and we no longer have to pay for Livedrive which is a plus point.

We then started using Ziflow for marking up documents at customer sites. It is really useful as it works on all different devices like ipads and other tablets which is useful as we don't need to go back to the office and power up a PC or laptop so this makes our workflow so much quicker.

We really like the simple way you can share a document and everybody can have their say without endless problems in permissions and file restrictions that many of the cloud drives and software have problems.

We also love the fact that there are a lot of useful commenting tools available and even the free version is not restricted which is great if you just need a customer to check something and they don't have to sign up and pay for a licence.

Some of our customers have started using it for logging changes in construction plans and they find it really useful and intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like the ability to be able to write notes directly onto a proof instead of always having to type, we use pens a lot on iPads to mark up drawings or cable runs and a handwritten note can help with the flow of ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A fantastic online proofing software.

I especially like that I can track the review progress of my clients. When I send out proofs, I know the stage of the proof from the moment the client starts looking at the proof "In progress" to "Decision pending" to "Approved".

You can drop multiple files for review into Ziflow. There is little to no learning curve, so you figure out fast how to get your files in and ready to send to clients for review. Dashboard is easy to navigate.

I no longer have to send my actual files with tacky watermarks direct to clients.

Ziflow allows me, as a sole freelancer, to present myself and my work more professionally.

No one thinks you are working alone when you send out proofs in this strategic, well-managed way.

Ziflow removes the chaos of unnecessary emails and phone calls allowing everyone to be on the same page. So everyone is updated.

The client is also notified when a new version of the proof is sent out for review. I can also add a deadline for responses and revisions.

I've been using Ziflow for a while now, and it's seriously been a game changer for my proofreading process. It makes it so incredibly easy to mark up any errors or changes that need to be made. Ziflow has been great for pulling together feedback amongst the agency team all in one place. Where we previously had individuals feeding back on separate email chains we can now have one feedback channel. This has allowed us to mitigate contradictory feedback for our designers and get to the desired solution sooner. It can feel a little overwhelming when first jumping in for the uploaders as there is a lot to take in. Although once you're familiar with the interface, all of this is resolved by the flexibility it provides to adapt to each team's workflow. Before Ziflow, my team and I would have to save a pdf of our documents in a shared folder and watch as dozens of people would comment on the same file, get frustrated that they couldn't save their changes because someone else had it open, save it in a new name in a new folder. You can imagine that we saw a lot of the same comments over and over - a big waste of time for both us, and those reviewing the documents. With Ziflow, we've done away with this process completely. Now, everyone can see what everyone else is saying about the documents, we can attach snapshots for context, you can easily keep track of which comments have been resolved, who needs to be contacted about what, which version of the file we're working on (and how it differs from the previous version) and more. A few weeks ago, I noticed a bug in "Ziflow". If you upload two files with the same name, it will duplicate one of the files rather than load the two files you wanted. It's not surprising that the issue was missed during testing because why would you ever have two files that are named the same in a single proof. The good news is that the Ziflow team has been very receptive to our team's comments and suggestions. I suspect the issue will be resolved soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ziflow makes it so easy to stay on top of revisions and different versions/iterations of projects. As a writer I would be disorganized without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have gone through a couple of other softwares including PageProof and one other that I cannot even remember the name of, and Ziflow stands head and shoulders above the rest. It is easy to use and intuitive. I have several "technology averse" stakeholders, and I was able to even get them using Ziflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think they may have now done away with the lower seat number plans, which is a shame because I think there are a lot of 2-3 person marketing departments out there that can use this great software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ziflow is a fantastic proofing tool, especially if you work with external parties. Being able to airgap our proofs from our project management software makes working with other teams in our org and external contractors a breeze. Especially in regard to other managers who might get a little too into the weeds if they were allowed access to the full project history.

I've found Ziflow incredibly easy to introduce to new users and have been happy with the variety of file types it handles. There's not much more to say on a positive note that a trial wouldn't convey just as well or better than I can here; I encourage you to test it out for yourself! If you intend to use Ziflow to proof live webpages, I'd definitely plan to do a number of test uploads during your trial phase. Depending on your web framework, CDN, etc. you may have some major display errors. I have seen this functionality improve over time though

I'm also not in love with the cost increases that are required to unlock "advanced" features that to me feel like they should be part of the base package.

I'd also love an option to not be logged out every 15 minutes or so. I imagine this is a security-based decision, but when you're working with low-sensitivity materials like we are, an option to stay signed in would be great.

That being said, Ziflow is so much of an improvement over passing around an Adobe PDF with notes or making comments in Google Drive that I'd have a hard time not recommending it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This platform is ideal for peer reviewing with colleagues and requesting approvals from all necessary teams. Our company can easily review documents, videos, and static creative while using ZiFlow. Onboarding new users to this platform has been simple: all functions are intuitive and self-explanatory. There is no learning curve with this platform.

The most valuable functions we have found for us are being able to set deadlines for specific people, delegating the type of notifications each party receives and connecting as a team virtually on a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only dislike about ZiFlow is the inability to delete my comments if I accidentally posted with misinformation. I prefer the ability to label a comment as "Deleted" and hide it, with the option of viewing. This adds to the overwhelming list of comments, but it's easily avoided by editing the comment and labeling it "No Action Required."
