It took me several assignments before I figured out how to comment effectively. A short 15-minute video would have been helpful. I did figure it out but at that point, I was pretty frustrated. It is easy to send a draft to someone to get their feedback and edits right on the document versus receiving edits via email. I also like that you can toggle between versions and see previous drafts. **What do you dislike about Ziflow?** The one downside is it takes a bit of getting used to, so at the beginning I had to click all the little icons to find what I was looking for. It is easy to use, but sometimes collaborators on a project might not know exactly how to markup a document, so it takes them a few tries to figure it out. **Recommendations to others considering Ziflow:** Think about your workflow and whether or not a tool to house all drafts and edits would be useful; for us it is! **What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to have problems with not being able to see old versions, but this solves that. There is a benefit in being able to go back and view multiple versions. I love the straightforward approach as to how you can send proofing links to clients or pretty much anybody with their changes and communication. **What do you dislike about Ziflow?** The load times of the proofing might lag a bit from time to time, but it's ok for now. It would be great to have a solid project management system with to-dos and calender type of outlook. That would make this program extraordinarily efficient and priceless. **Recommendations to others considering Ziflow:** If you need a platform that can save you time and frustration without all the back and forth with emails or texts alone, use Ziflow. The comment section has a lot of power with the files you can add and the functionality of the changes you illustrate with the features of Ziflow. It streamlines feedback coming in and allows the stakeholders to see each other's feedback in real-time. This really cuts down on confusion and misunderstandings that come from multiple sources of commenting on a project. It is great as the proof owner to see exactly who has opened, commented and finished their review. I also love the reminder feature so I don't need to go track down who needs to review, I can send a reminder from the application. Overall, this is an amazing product that helps us gather and accurately keep track of feedback and comments from the team. **What do you dislike about Ziflow?** Like with anything, you come across errors or the system is down occasionally. There are little glitches with PDFs showing hidden objects that we have noticed which can be annoying. It would be nice to combine files in the application into one proof which isn't an option. We have also had some issues with using links in the tool. **What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a problem of getting feedback from too many disparate sources, this tool centralizes that feedback for us. ### 24. I love that our clients don't need to create an account to make comments or submit a decision. **What do you dislike about Ziflow?** I have very few complaints about Ziflow. One thing that I wish could be improved is how the system remembers the last permissions set for a reviewer. For example, when I add a reviewer to a new version, the permissions that are automatically applied are sometimes different from the permissions that I had manually given them in the previous version. Having the previously set permissions could help streamline/automate the process a little more. **What problems is Ziflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Ziflow has allowed clients to give more precise feedback and has reduced the number of back-and-forth comments between client and agency. It is actually by design that Ziflow doesn't remember the last notification setting used for a reviewer, because each reviewer can set up a default notification preference that will be applied when they are added to a proof. I also don't like how the notifications settings are set up because you can either get so many. I also find that the proofs in Ziflow are sometimes a little too fuzzy or occasionally, blurry, to read, especially the small print, but sometimes bigger print and images and colors too. Once they are done, we address them all at once and can consult, discuss, ask about each one individually.
