I dislike the downtimes / slow times. Would prefer to have a warning ahead of time

The platform is amazing the continuous support is top-notch! Dayna Gust is an amazing business partner. Switching to this platform reduced my workload and eliminated four products used to manage my business.

Bittersweet - Multiple4 functions/support = complexity. It is so worth it. your support team and chat specialists help overcome this challenge. Five stars!

it's a very robust system. does everything you need for a medical spa practice: inventory, timesheets, texting patients, marketing emails, etc.

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

haven't found many yet, but still new to the system. it does take a long time to set up and customize the software. I'd say give yourself at least 2 months - and that's if you're being VERY efficient with your time.

The HTML coding portion.  If you don't know HTML coding you have to hire someone.

Favorite aspect of the software is the support. Incredibly responsive either by email or chat. I know that when I'm not available my staff still have support for questions.

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

So far, downsides have been largely based on lag. We have had consistent issues with the system lagging out, forcing re-login, or just closing.

**What problems is Zenoti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zenoti has been incredibly helpful resolving issues. For example, for about a month we were unable to move appointment blocks without crashing the appointment book. However, Zenoti took the issue very seriously. As far as I can tell, we no longer encounter that problem.

Love the availability of Zenoti chat to help with issues! Love that I can actually do refunds out of center and that I can book multiple centers from a single sign on!!

Scheduling, reports, 2-way texting is the best, and all the notification patients receive along with the apps.

The training videos and the system set up, although now I understand it, at the beginning it was intense

Do not like being bumped out during work hours and having to sign in with my password.  Zenoti knows when you are clocked in to work.

It isn't a complicated system. Everything is mostly a right click away. Took my about two days to be able to use it without supervision. So I would give it an 8/10

I personally don't like the fact that it makes people have to put a credit card on file before they can book appointments but its fair at the same time to prevent no shows.

I'm not very sure about what they might be changing but its not too difficult to navigate

Price is possibly a little high but hard to tell when comparing apples to apples.

Their system process. Complete system based. They explain the process & procedure clearly with the time deadline. We need to have patience for the problem to get fixed or resolved.

Online Support is little slow. Have to explain everything to every individual trying to support the issues, if any; which is very irritating. We get the results though.

Very easy to search patients, set up appointments and very easy to process payments and apply discounts. (When the discounts are entered in the system properly)

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

Charting is extremely difficult. Information does not save all the time, previous provider information will pre-populate in a new treatment document which we are unable to edit if there is a new provider treating that patient. This makes it extremely frustrating. It is also very difficult to pull up customized reports.
For some reason, when a patient has gift cards in their account and they are used it does not clear them in the same transaction, so it will look as if that patient has more than what they actually have.

**Recommendations to others considering Zenoti:**

If you are planning on using Zenoti, keep back ups of consents, and photos and treatment notes prior to saving to avoid loss of patient treatment and information!

It has made communication much easier with patients when booking appointments via text messages and their online booking platform seems to be pretty smooth for the most part.

I liked the potential of the software. The multiple locations to manage are key for me and that was appealing.

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

Terrible implementation team. I had numerous poor interactions with the project manager. Her communication was ineffective, timely, and a waste of my time. She focused on areas not at all important to my goals and held up my project many times. I was blamed for thus. I expressed my concerns and was told it would be addressed. Instead I was put on more zoom calls with her and the project inevitably failed. We never launched. I was told instead of addressing my concerns, the project would be permanently haulted. I was also told I would receive a FULL REFUND in 7 business days. I did not. It's been 2 months. I've emailed every department including the sales woman that sold me on this platform and directly to the person that said I would be refunded. I never receive responses at all. They took my money and supplied NOTHING. They have received millions in venture capital but rob small businesses and have retired hairstylists managing their projects. BEWARE.

I like that is has basic capabilities and does what it needs to

Not user friendly at all and hard to use - even with the training they provided. I used to use MindBody and have used MarianaTek, both which are much easier to use.

The ability to have the app on my phone, the ease of use and the fact that all locations can be merged into one app.

**What do you like best about Zenoti?**

Honestly, coming from 2 other software solutions in other salons, Zenoti has all the things you would expect and some great features you maybe didn't know you needed. But better than anything else, from the salon management side of things, is their insane level of support! Regardless of which SaaS one chooses, there will always be hiccups or struggles or confusion, but the folks at ZENOTI have been so great at walking us thru and solving any issue we have had - in minutes or hours, not days or weeks like the other guys. 

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

The only real downside is, seemingly, that the software was originally developed for overseas use and proof on concept and flow are set up in a way that is not 100% intuitive for a U.S. based salon. HOWEVER, once you understand some of the terms and "lingo" it makes sense - and they're so easy to work with and helpful, that this learning curve is overcome very quickly.

Small learning curve, but once you "get it" it is great and their support team is first class.

We wanted an easy and efficient total-salon solution - everything from inventory and sales to services and scheduling. ZENOTI has been easy for our team to learn and has consistently worked to make upgrades to the product so it is always getting better!

I like that Zenoti is supposed to be a one-stop office system. Scheduling, invoicing, charting, phone/email/text options, online booking, etc.

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

Although Zenoti has great potential, it has been far from the system we were promised. There have been multiple technical issues with scheduling, invoicing, and codes not working. Customer service is based in India, so sometimes response time is delayed or never responded too.

**Recommendations to others considering Zenoti:**

Be ready to make system changes and custom requests.

A constant problem is campaign codes used for promos/discounts when invoicing do not work or calculate totals incorrectly.

Zenoti has a lot features that are able to be customized for your individual needs. While I was working the program, they added a lot of features. 

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

Depending on what you are scheduling, their can be a lot of steps involved and it can be a process. Also, trying to create a procedure manual with all of the changes makes it hard to keep up!

Great customer service and Zenoti worked well with us to customize a design that worked for us.

No major complaints other than it glitching here and there and having weird issues with a easy but not obvious fix.

The customer service experience is always pleasant, and fast. Fast response time so we don't have to keep our customers waiting long

**What do you dislike about Zenoti?**

Too many steps to check out products and close payments, having to select a printer every time you're printing a receipt, it should just print automatically when you select cc complete or close. Have to exit these screens twice, makes the process a lot slower, the customer always notices this.

I dislike how you have to go all the way into someone file to see how many prepaids and/or elevations they have on file.

Constant glitches, nonsensical requirements, zero customer support. If you have a choice, please steer clear of Zenoti. Be afraid, be very afraid. Zenoti is THE ABSOLUTE WORST POS/Booking software I have ever used during twenty years in this industry.

The awesome thing about Zenoti  is that you have a customer service representative a few clicks away. The program is easy to use but if you do have an issue someone on the zenoti team will help via instant messaging. They are always friendly and helpful.

I have no complaints about this program. Every thing is organized and easy to use.

it's a fairly new software to me, and I am still unfamiliar with everything. payroll processing reports are difficult to find/utilize

This software is ideal for the spa industry. I am fairly computer savvy, therefore I found Millennium fairly easy to use but my employees struggled with is daily. Zenoti is much easier to utilize and navigate. My employees already feel comfortable using it and it has been less that a week since we started.
