What do you like best about Mangomint?

I love Mangomint for a million reasons. From the moment you start using Mangomint, the team feels like your best friends—everyone is genuinely eager to help and educate you along the way. The software is incredibly easy to use, and that ease is truly unbeatable. I’ve used many scheduling software options, and Mangomint is hands down the best. I also love having chat support for anything I need, whenever I need help. I love that they are constantly working on improving features or implementing new ones to better serve the customer. What do you dislike about Mangomint?

Overall, I think Mangomint is amazing, but there are a few features I wish were available. For example, I’d love a button that lets me repeat an appointment—something like scheduling it every week on Wednesday at 4:00 PM for the next six weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mangomint?

Since 2020, we’ve been using Mangomint as our booking and management software, and it has been an incredible asset to our business. The platform is extremely user-friendly for both our team and our 20,000 clients, making daily operations smooth and efficient.

One of the biggest advantages for us has been the multi-location functionality. Mangomint seamlessly shares client information between locations, which was essential for our growth and flexibility. Clients can easily book online, and therapists receive appointment notifications by text or email based on their personal preference—helping them stay on top of their schedules without constant check-ins. They recently added multi booking feature that allows 2+ people to be able to book online. (couples).

The system also allows our staff to manage their own breaks, which empowers them while keeping scheduling organized. We utilize Mangomint’s integrated merchant services, which simplifies our financial tracking and keeps everything in one place—no juggling multiple processors.

Their texting feature has truly been a game changer. Many clients respond faster to text than phone calls, so being able to communicate quickly and efficiently has improved confirmations, follow-ups, and overall client experience.

Inventory management is another strong point. Tracking retail products is simple, easy to maintain, and even allows barcode scanning when needed.

When we first joined Mangomint, we used a third-party gift card partner, GiftUp. While we loved the functionality, it required separate PayPal processing and came with higher merchant fees. Moving away from that system helped us streamline payments under one merchant account and reduce costs. We’ve also adjusted how we enter gift cards to better accommodate service-value cards rather than only dollar-value tracking.

Whenever we need help, their customer service is literally a message away or phone call. They are very good at getting to you quickly.

What do you dislike about Mangomint?

One ongoing challenge has been implementing a loyalty program that truly fits our business model. The current options haven’t fully aligned with what we need, making it difficult to create a seamless rewards structure for our clients.

Reporting has also presented some hurdles. Archived employees are not included in certain reports, which requires us to manually download and save reports weekly to ensure we maintain accurate historical data outside the system.

We are currently testing Mangomint’s native gift card program. At this time, it only supports dollar-value gift cards, whereas our business relies heavily on service-value gift cards. Because of this, we’ve had to adjust our internal processes to make it work. Additionally, searching for gift cards can be cumbersome, as used cards are not easily filtered out, making the system feel limited in its current form.

Payroll is another feature offered within Mangomint, but the per-staff-member processing fee makes it difficult for us to justify switching from our current payroll provider.

The intake forms also do not automatically map into client account fields. As a result, important information must be manually entered into client profiles. We’ve created a workaround using a highlighted note section as a shortcut for staff, but ideally, those forms would integrate directly into structured client data fields.

That said, one of the biggest positives is that Mangomint actively listens to user feedback and continues to roll out improvements based on suggestions. That responsiveness is extremely valuable and gives us confidence that the platform will continue evolving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mangomint has made booking and managing appointments incredibly efficient and user-friendly. Navigating the calendar is seamless, and the drag-and-drop functionality makes rescheduling a breeze. One of the standout features is how convenient it is to access and communicate with patients. What do you like best about Mangomint?

We transferred over from another platform and have the experience has been night and day. The most notable thing about our experience so far is the customer support we've received. Mangomint's team is quick to respond and always had a resolution.

Our sales representative, Tess along with our onboarding manager, Jordan answered (so) many of my questions and were so pleasant to deal with.

What do you dislike about Mangomint?

I wish there was an option for clients to create an account if this is what they preferred.

Mangomint does not allow different settings for multi-location businesses. For example, I have 3 different stores, 2 of which are smaller and clients could benefit from self-check in. I cannot turn off self-check in for my flagship store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mangomint?

I would prefer if there was a number to call for immediate questions regarding the software during work hours. The chat people are excellent, but sometimes it takes a little bit for them to get back to you and when you have a customer in front of you and need an answer that doesn’t work. There are also a few things that could be streamlined better within the program. With that being said, they are open to suggestions and feedback, and you definitely feel heard when making them. What do you like best about Mangomint?

The chat support is amazing. Whenever I have a question the response time is fast and people are friendly. They are really well versed in the software and provide helpful images and easy to follow instructions. I am the front desk supervisor and am responsible for training new hires on the software and the tutorials are incredibly helpful as a teaching tool. My staff can look up how to do just about anything they can’t remember, and if they still can’t figure it out the chat support is there. We have also been able to suggest new features that would be helpful and feel like we get a receptive response. In the past we have had software companies promise to work with us in that regard and then fell short. But Mangomint is improving and adding features. They even added a way to collect health intake forms and log treatment notes which allows us to keep appointment information and HIPAA protected health information all in one place, saving us a ton of time and energy and removing the need for a separate software. What do you dislike about Mangomint?

There are certain text fields that are very hard to view while editting. For example, if we are creating a time block on the schedule and adding notes only one small section of text is viewable at an time and you have to move the cursor to see or edit the rest of the text in the field. I also think there is still room for improvement in how appointments show up that have been booked for someone by another person. We end up with situations where we have to create a new profile for an appointment and then go back and update which profile is linked to the appointment and make sure intake forms and treatment notes end up on the right persons profile. What do you like best about Mangomint?

Mangomint is a huge upgrade from our last aesthetic-based POS. Our clinic implemented memberships several years ago, and while our clients loved them, we were constantly chasing payments and buried in manual accounting. With Mangomint, our memberships are hassle-free, and we save so much time and frustration on the back end. Overall, the application is sleek, user friendly, and highly customizable. I wish Mangomint was little more customizable in terms of the calendar page. I would love to see all providers on on the same page when looking at a week view.
