## Xurrent IMR Reviews
  ### 1. Reliable Core Alerting, but Integrations and Customization Need Work

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raghav A. | DevOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

We’ve been using Xurrent mainly for incident alerting and on-call management, somewhat similar to PagerDuty. Overall, the platform is reliable for receiving alerts, and the UI/UX is definitely one of its stronger points — the interface feels modern, clean, and easy to navigate compared to many traditional ITSM tools.

From an integrations perspective, there’s still room for improvement. Connecting with newer MCP servers, AI tooling, and DevOps agents was more challenging than expected. We especially struggled while trying to integrate with our DevOps agent workflows. The payloads being sent also contain limited contextual information, which reduces flexibility for automation and troubleshooting.

Performance-wise, alert delivery itself has been stable and timely, so we haven’t faced major issues with missed alerts. However, advanced conditional alerting, templating, and customization capabilities feel limited right now. For teams with more complex routing or automation requirements, this can become restrictive.

Support and onboarding have been positive overall. The support team is responsive and helpful whenever issues are raised, which definitely improves the experience.

On the AI/intelligence side, the current capabilities still feel fairly basic. AI-driven insights, automation intelligence, and contextual recommendations are not yet at the level we expected, especially compared to newer AI-first operational platforms.

Overall, Xurrent works well for core alerting use cases and offers a good user experience, but it could improve significantly in integrations, alert customization, and AI-driven intelligence to better support modern DevOps environments.

Pricing wise it is good, compared to other competitors, but again that is coming on the cost of less features others are offering.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

One area where Xurrent could improve is outbound integrations and alert customization capabilities. While using outgoing webhooks, we noticed that important attributes like alert priority are missing from the payload. This limits the ability to build richer automations and makes downstream integrations less effective for incident routing and escalation workflows.

We also faced challenges with the Slack integration. Features like postmortem updates and incident communication do not fully support Slack thread-based workflows, which creates fragmentation in discussions and makes collaboration harder during active incidents.

Another limitation is the lack of advanced conditional alerting and incident segregation. Currently, we are unable to properly group or route alerts into incidents based on custom conditional statements or logic. For teams handling large alert volumes, this can create operational noise and increase manual effort for incident management.

It would be helpful if Xurrent enhanced webhook payload customization, added stronger Slack thread support, and introduced more flexible conditional rules for alert grouping and routing. These improvements would significantly improve automation, reduce operational overhead, and make the platform more effective for modern DevOps and SRE workflows.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Xurrent, we were handling incident notifications and on-call alerting through a mix of manual processes and multiple disconnected tools. It was difficult to maintain visibility across incidents, and the response process was inconsistent, especially during high-priority production issues.

After implementing Xurrent, we were able to centralize alert management and improve incident visibility for the team. The platform helped us streamline alert delivery and reduce the chances of missing critical notifications. The UI also made it easier for engineers and support teams to quickly understand incident status and ongoing actions.

One of the biggest improvements was having a more structured incident workflow compared to our previous setup. Instead of manually coordinating alerts and escalations, alerts now reach the right teams faster, which has improved response coordination during outages and operational incidents.

That said, while Xurrent solved the core alerting and incident management problems for us, we still see limitations around advanced automation, conditional routing, and AI-driven insights. For organizations with simpler or mid-level incident management requirements, the platform works well, but more advanced DevOps workflows may require additional customization or external tooling.

  ### 2. Clear Incident Metrics and Powerful Reporting with Xurrent IMR

  ### 3. Intuitive, Affordable Incident Management with Standout AI and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

Here's what I'd appreciate most about Zenduty/Xurrent IMR:

UI / UX
I really like how intuitive the interface feels overall — it's user-friendly and makes incident management straightforward. That said, I've noticed some friction points. When I dive deeper into configuration, simple tasks require multiple configuration steps, which frustrated me initially. I also experienced occasional UI sluggishness that breaks the flow. But once I got over the learning curve, I found myself navigating pretty efficiently.

Integrations
This is honestly my favorite part. Having over 150 tools integrated seamlessly means I don't have to context-switch between platforms. I can centralize everything in one place, which saves me serious time and mental energy during incidents.

Performance
I'm genuinely impressed with how fast we respond now. The platform reduces downtime by 50-90%, and I can feel the difference in my day-to-day work. Real-time alerts get to me reliably, so I'm not scrambling to find out about issues after they've already spiraled.

Pricing / ROI
The free tier is generous enough that I could test everything before committing. At $6/user/month for the Starter plan, it's affordable for my small team. My only gripe? Critical post-incident features like postmortems and SLAs require the $25/user/month Enterprise plan — I wish those weren't locked behind the premium tier.

Support / Onboarding
I appreciated how smooth my onboarding was. The support team made it easy and helped me find features for my specific needs. That made a big difference in getting up and running quickly.

AI / Intelligence
This is honestly transformative for my workflow. The AI reduces alert noise by up to 80% — I went from being bombarded with false alarms to only seeing actionable alerts. I can analyze incident trends and identify which services need more attention, so I'm now proactive instead of reactive.

Solid, affordable incident management tool with impressive AI. The integrations and analytics are my MVPs. I just wish the workflow automation were smoother and key features weren't gated behind premium pricing.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

Here's what frustrates me about Zenduty/Xurrent IMR:

UI / UX
While it's generally user-friendly, I found that simple tasks require multiple configuration steps, and it feels unnecessarily convoluted. I also experience occasional UI sluggishness that's annoying when I'm trying to quickly respond to an incident. And honestly, there's a noticeable learning curve for new users — I wasted time figuring things out that should've been more obvious.

Integrations
While there are 150+ integrations, I wish the platform better documented which ones work best. Some integrations feel half-baked, and I've had to manually configure workarounds that should've been built-in.

Performance
My main frustration here is the search functionality. When I'm backtracking through incidents, the search results can mix multiple incidents, making it harder to quickly pinpoint a specific incident by keyword or ID. This is a real productivity killer during post-mortems.

Pricing / ROI
I'm genuinely annoyed by the feature gatekeeping. Key features like Single Sign-On, advanced alert suppression, and the Incident Command System are only available on Growth at $16/month, and critical post-incident features like postmortems and incident SLAs require the $25/user/month plan. It feels like I'm paying extra for features that should be standard. The free tier is nice, but you quickly realize it's missing essential capabilities.

Support / Onboarding
Once I got past initial onboarding, I found myself on my own more than I'd like. Documentation could be more comprehensive, and I've hit walls where I needed support but responses weren't as quick as I needed during critical moments.

AI / Intelligence
The AI is great at reducing noise, but workflow automation feels limited. I expected more intelligent automation — like automatic remediation suggestions or predictive alerting. Right now it's mostly about filtering noise, not proactively solving problems.

Schedule Management Transparency
This is a big one for me — the platform lacks transparency in schedule management, with no activity logs or override history. When something goes wrong with on-call rotations, I can't easily trace back what happened or who made changes. That's frustrating from an accountability and audit perspective.

Overall good foundational platform, but it feels like it's charging premium prices for features that competitors include standard. The automation story is underwhelming, and the lack of transparency in critical areas (schedules, audit logs) makes me hesitant to fully trust it at scale.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems It's Solving For Me:

Alert Fatigue & Missed Incidents
Xurrent IMR helps solve the problem of missed or delayed incident management through proper escalation and tracking. Before using it, I was drowning in alerts — half of them were noise, and I'd miss the critical ones buried in the chaos. Now the AI suppresses duplicate and low-priority alerts, reducing alert noise by up to 80%, so I actually see what matters.

Slow Response Times
I used to waste precious minutes figuring out who should handle what incident. The platform reduces downtime by 50-90% because my team can now respond instantly with proper routing, escalation policies, and on-call rotations built in. No more "who's on call?" confusion during a crisis.

Fragmented On-Call Management
By consolidating alerts and integrations, I've eliminated the need to juggle multiple tools during an incident. Everything is in one place, so I'm not context-switching between Slack, PagerDuty, Jira, and five other platforms.

How I'm Benefiting:

Better Sleep — Reliable, intelligent notifications mean I actually trust the alerts I receive. No more waking up to false alarms or missing real ones.

Faster Resolution — Improved MTTA/MTTR means less downtime and less stress. What used to take 30 minutes to respond to now takes 5.

Data-Driven Improvements — I can analyze incidents to track trends — which days, services, or shifts experience more issues — identify what went wrong, and determine areas that need improvement. I'm no longer just fighting fires; I'm preventing them.

Team Sanity — My team is less burnt out because they're not overloaded with meaningless alerts and can actually focus on real problems. The intelligent context lets me zero in on the root cause in seconds.

Cost Savings — Less downtime = less revenue loss and fewer frustrated customers. That ROI alone makes the subscription worth it, even with the feature gatekeeping.

  ### 15. Navigating the oncall hell

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satyabrat S. | SDE 2, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

Previously, our on-call management was cumbersome, relying on a patchwork of call and email integrations that were only accessible via a secured VPN. This made our alerting process difficult to manage and significantly hindered accessibility.

With Zenduty, the ability to access the platform across multiple devices and the public internet has greatly streamlined our on-call workflow.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

For future improvements, we would like to see Zenduty leverage machine learning to learn from on-call engineer behavior. This could enable the platform to:

- Automatically categorize alerts based on historical patterns.
- Auto-acknowledge alerts that are frequently not acted upon immediately, reducing noise.
- Propose improvements, such as automatically suggesting a lower severity level for alerts that are consistently acknowledged but do not lead to any further action.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zenduty is solving the following problems:

Problem: The previous on-call management system relied on managing multiple, separate call and email integrations.

Problem: The on-call platform was only accessible via a secured VPN, making it difficult to access remotely or on different devices.

These solutions are benefiting us by:

Simplifying On-Call Management: By consolidating alerts and integrations into a single platform, it eliminates the complexity of managing a fragmented system.

Improving Accessibility: The ability to access Zenduty via the public internet and across multiple platforms (mobile, web) has made life much easier for on-call engineers, allowing them to respond to incidents from anywhere.

  ### 18. Easy to implement into existing workflows.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan S. | System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

The support was super useful with generally under 5 minute response times. There is lots of documentation to help me implement automatic incidents. The UI is simple and generally easy to navigate around and its something where you can just configure once and then only need to access again when an incident occurs.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

Schedules are confusing to implement, especially with staff in different countries (had to make a schedule per country). For example setting a 9-5 schedule requires both setting shift length and restricting the layer to specific times of the day. Additionally don't like how some features are restricted to higher tired plans.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On-call routing and incident response

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

The user-friendly ; they seamlessly integrate into our current workflow without adding complication. The escalation mechanisms provide assurance that events are always handled quickly, and the real-time notifications guarantee that no important alarm is missed.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

When compared to the web version, the UI occasionally feels a little constrained, even if it functions well for receiving alerts.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If the same issue triggers multiple alerts from different monitoring tools, Zenduty groups them into a single incident instead of spamming you with multiple notifications. Alerts are sent only to the right on-call person or team based on severity, service ownership, or escalation policy, instead of blasting everyone.

  ### 32. Experience with Zenduty

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

What I like best about Zenduty is its simplicity and effectiveness — it’s super easy to set up, and the interface is clean and intuitive. The real win is how seamlessly it handles on-call scheduling and multi-channel alerting (Slack, email, SMS, etc.), ensuring the right people are notified instantly. Plus, their support team is impressively responsive and genuinely listens to feedback. It strikes a great balance between functionality and usability, especially for teams that want reliable incident management without the complexity of larger tools.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

One thing that could be better in Zenduty is its limited range of third-party integrations compared to some competitors like PagerDuty or OpsGenie. While it covers the essentials, teams that rely on a wide variety of tools might find it a bit restrictive. Also, there are occasional small UI glitches — like buttons that freeze or screens that need refreshing — though they don’t usually block functionality and the support team tends to resolve them quickly. Overall, these are minor trade-offs given the platform's overall reliability and ease of use.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handeling and notified for alerts

  ### 33. Good solution to get alerts and insights on the critical issues before they became P0

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sufyan K. | Member of Technical Staff, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

Zenduty's oncall rotation and integration is really smooth. It is a very good alternative to Pager Duty for the smaller teams.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

One thing that still bugs me out is the spam calls. We most of the time ignores the call because they are too much. But again this is not Zenduty's fault as we are the one who configure the alerts. If Zenduty gives us some analytics on what type of incident we ignore than we can have better configs.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zenduty solves the problem of fragmented incident communication by providing a centralized platform that automates the creation of various communication channels and tickets. This streamlines the response process and ensures that all relevant parties are promptly notified and involved in resolving incidents.

**Official Response from Alka Gupta:**

> Thanks, Sufyan. We're glad to hear that you appreciate Zenduty's comprehensive incident communication features. We understand the concern about spam calls and are continuously working to improve our notification system to minimize any inconvenience for our users.

There was no single product where we could use to collect all the alerts from different sources and getting alerted
Zenduty made it possible , very easy to use , very easy to handle .

  ### 35. Easy to manage

  ### 36. A Scalable PagerDuty Alternative That Works Well

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arvind S. | Backend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

Zenduty offers a lot of useful features and flexible options. The alert routing, incident playbooks, and postmortem tools help make incident management easier. Their support team is responsive. Moving from PagerDuty was simple.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

There are a lot of features, which can be too much at first. A step-by-step onboarding process would make it easier for new users.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zenduty helps us streamline incident response by centralizing alerts, automating on-call schedules, and enabling fast coordination during outages. It reduces response time and improves accountability with features like alert routing, escalations, and postmortems. The ability to integrate with our existing tools and notify the right teams immediately has been a huge productivity boost.

  ### 37. Best Incident Monitoring Tool with Best People Onboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manoj K. | Manager - Technical Support Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

The people. They are very supportive from day 1. I wouldn't take one of very popular incident monitoring tool with whom I was initially engaged with but they gave such poor customer service experience but I thank them. Because of them only, I came across ZenDuty and I am loving it.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

Nothing as such. Great in every aspect..

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have weekend on-call support. ZenDuty is helping my staff not to sit at desk on the weekends, they can continue doing their household chores and if any customer is sending an email, they are getting the phone call and that's when they need to open the laptop.

  ### 38. My experience with Zenduty

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

Have not observed any issues so far with Zenduty.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zenduty is solving several critical problems in incident management, primarily focusing on reducing Mean Time To Acknowledge (MTTA) and Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR). Reduced Alert Fatigue and Faster Incident Resolution.

  ### 39. Incident response and management made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomer C. | DevOps Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

ZenDuty is easy to use, set up, and integrate with tools. They provide excellent customer service and care, with support tickets answered immediately and feature requests quickly prioritized and added to the roadmap. As an alerting system, it sends alerts instantly, without delays or latency. The UI is clear and detailed, much clearer than those of competitors.

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

Due to the company's age, it is not yet supported by complementary solutions, unlike PagerDuty and OpsGenie integrations. It should be noted that every request to ZenDuty is prioritized, and support for new features is typically added very soon.

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incident management made easy! Different team members can collaborate seamlessly on incidents through communication and incident management via Slack. Manage post-mortems, set priorities, and reduce noise from irrelevant incidents using ZenDuty's valuable statistics.

**Official Response from Alka Gupta:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Tomer C.! We're stoked to read this.
Also, we understand the importance of integrating with complementary solutions and are continuously working to expand our integrations. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize and add new features to our roadmap.

  ### 40. Short & Sweet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viswanatha K. | lead devops engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Xurrent IMR?**

It is a good tool for those seeking an alternative to PagerDuty, especially if it fits within your budget. It effectively manages users and has recently implemented some AI features as well

**What do you dislike about Xurrent IMR?**

One improvement I can suggest is grouping incidents based on tags. Additionally, when users need reports such as the top incidents for the day, week, or month, or per-user reports on the time taken to respond to incidents (MTTA and MTTR) this will help us analyze user performance. Furthermore, top alerts per period will assist us in identifying alerts that occur very frequently

**What problems is Xurrent IMR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

incidence managenet

**Official Response from Alka Gupta:**

> Thank you for the positive feedback on our UI and incident management, Viswanatha. We'll definitely take your suggestions for improving labels, alerts, and alert grouping into consideration. We're glad to hear that Zenduty is helping with incident management for you.

I have started testing this personally and I haven't been able to make it function correctly for cross-team alerting, escalations, and schedule viewing via Slack UI. However, I have submitted this to Zenduty's Customer Success team and they have been on it!
