The search function for organizations can be a bit clunky - sometimes I have to try multiple different search terms (or even filter by location) to find the organization I am looking for in the system. When I joined the company, we were already customers of Blackbaud, but I have heard from my colleagues who were a part of the onboarding process that everything used to be done manually via Excel sheets. I can only imagine what a nightmare that was. As a company of 18,000 employees around the globe, I cannot imagine our programs running at their current scale without YourCause. Some product changes have been made that have negatively impacted our users, often without any prior consultation. Also, the use of the Blackbaud Giving Fund (both as a DAF and as a charity) has resulted in the exclusion of private schools from giving and a somewhat cumbersome due diligence process. There are portions of the backend that are still fairly technical and require the assistance of a Blackbaud/YourCause Success Manager to implement - certain question types, report queries, and workflow automation can be quite complicated for the average user. What problems is YourCause from Blackbaud solving and how is that benefiting you? With GrantsConnect, we no longer have to rely on manual spreadsheets, as the entire process is now automated. Given that we handle over 250 applications across different programmes, tracking and managing all applications and programmes has become significantly more efficient. Likewise, CSR Connect has eliminated the need for manual matching. Employees now benefit from improved support for volunteering and matching, and as administrators, it is much easier for us to monitor numbers across the board.
