What is Yarooms?

YAROOMS Workplace is a flexible end-to-end meeting room and desk booking solution which works great for different types of spaces, from corporate office buildings to universities and hospitals. Rich in features designed to elevate your productivity, it solves the latest space management challenges, such as (un)assigned seating, workplace safety, and physical distancing. YAROOMS Workplace encompasses the following: • Desk booking system (part of the YAROOMS Cloud suite). It is our newest innovation built to help resume office operations, and stay compliant with social distancing regulations, minimizing the need to modify spaces and their layouts. • Meeting room booking system, which is one of the only products on the market to have built its advanced reservation engine for conflict resolution, preventing conflicting bookings of rooms, resources, and even people. The capacity enforcement feature allows limiting the number of people in shared spaces, and restricts their usage to groups surpassing predefined requirements. • YAROOMS Door digital signage tablet application and a native mobile app for iOS and Android to extend the on-the-go scheduling possibilities.

What do you like best?

YaRooms has given our team the ability to book and use spaces on a day-to-day basis, which previously required lots of back and forth emails for confirmation. Now, if the space is available, they can book it. A few of our spaces require approval which allows me the ability to monitor who comes and goes daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes YaRooms can be difficult to integrate into Google Calendar, which our school uses for most of the event schedule. Through some workarounds, I'm able to take an .ICS file and with a Google Script, automatically populate the YaRooms events to Google. The only issue is events that haven't been "Approved" still automatically are readable by the .ICS file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

YaRooms allows team members autonomy when booking their schedules for class times, rehearsals, and meetings. With the "Reports" section, I can take a look at how many "meetings" we have, by which department, room, and team member. These analytics can help us see what areas need attention. What do you like best?

What we like best is that YArooms has a light-feeling, and yet a very powerful user interface that our users have found to be a crowd-pleaser.

We also like its simplicity, and the very competitive cost that has allowed us to adopt this system within a very tightly-funded healthcare environment. The branding features have been well-received as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I somewhat dislike having to 'waste' a room license to create compound rooms from several already-licensed rooms. The compound room feature is a great idea, but the cost of the extra room for a feature our users will only user very occasionally has limited that features use in our deployment to a single compound room. However, this is certainly not close to a 'deal-breaker'. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

YAROOMS was selected by the Heart Institute for our new room booking solution largely because it employs a powerful yet elegant design with a light, appealing UI, all at a competitive price. The new system was easily adopted at go-live by our hundreds of users due in large part to its ease of use. The migration from our legacy system also saw an immediate and significant reduction in administrative overhead. YAROOMS delivered everything we needed and nothing we did not need. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Some problems with had with our legacy room booking system was a lack of ease of use. We also had unnecessarily high administrative overhead with that legacy systems poor, antiquated design. The many integrations with Office 365, Teams as well as a new sleek mobile app for both iOS and Android. We have benefited by the easy to use UI, reduced overhead and impressive integrations and find many unexpected features have become well-adopted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We love Yarooms. It was so easy to setup, and all our end-users find it very easy and user friendly to book rooms and resources. Its quick, got a very good user interface and end users find it so easy.

The App is also so nice and convenient, our users just log into it to extend a room or car booking if they're in the middle of an appointment and its done! So much better than our old clunky system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Our old system was slow, clunky, and really user-unfriendly. It was also very difficult to cancel bookings. Additionally it didnt handle recurring bookings very well. Yarooms solves all these problems Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The best part is the ease of access and consistency. It is easy to add new users and have them set up to make room bookings quickly and easily. It is also handy to have control over which users have access to which services within Yarooms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Easy, agile and practical tool to book a room. The most interesting thing is that you know in real time what is available and for how long the room will be free. And if no one uses it, you can extend the time. The calendars are simply straightforward and have not caused staff confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I feel that the booking platform can still be improved. They can make it easier to find, without using the scroll so much. But we had no problems or errors in the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can find a room depending on how many people are attending my meeting from the start. Before YAROOMS, I had to go and check personally what room could hold how many people. Also, when YAROOMS tells me a room is free, I can trust it completely. I'm no longer kicked out of a room because someone else booked it and forgot to mention it or find other people in the meeting room I was supposed to be using. And there's no arguments anymore. What do you like best?

Yarooms has an elegant design to it. It is very easy for our Faculty/Staff to schedule rooms and Technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is very little to dislike. We were looking for something easy that non-technical people can schedule resources in our School District Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
