Price seemed reasonable too. Sales and marketing side of things look very good. The feature set seems relatively full and it appears to be well designed with a nice layout and no clutter. Just like a functional tool should be. **What do you dislike about Xero Module for Whmcs?** Promises all the things that we were looking for in a tool to fulfil this function but it failed. The product simply does not do its job properly and when asked to support and get it fixed the charade of emails and skype chats started but in the end they totally failed to fix the bugs to get their product working. Essentially it looks great on paper but the team seemed very unprofessional in dealing with the issue. They are based in India and the timezone difference also did not help of course. **Recommendations to others considering Xero Module for Whmcs:** Please choose a different product! This is certainly not it. Getting a refund was also not a straight forward endeavour. It took a complaint to PayPal to get it sorted. There is at least 1 or 2 more better solutions. Just do your research. You could also look at trying to build in-house solution and we were quoted for the work involved but it would have ROI in more than 3-4 years compared to this tool. However - read above why it doesn't make sense. **What problems is Xero Module for Whmcs solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was trying to solve the time hog of bridging invoices from WHMCS to Xero accounting manually. This software promises to solve that issue of saving lots of time and effort avoiding double entry. But it doesn't work, so back to square one. ### 2. Works well (most of the time...) **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Co-Owner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2019 **What do you like best about Xero Module for Whmcs?** Syncs my invoices from the WHMCS platform over to Xero which makes it easier to track by client and in reconciling. **What do you dislike about Xero Module for Whmcs?** Doesn't work 100% of the time. We've never been able to pin point why some of the invoices don't come over. Doesn't mark Xero invoice as paid when WHMCS invoice is paid so any delay in reconciling could result in innaccurate and confusing overdue emails to clients. This can be overwritten by turning off invoice reminders in Xero, but then that can cause issues if you bill clients for other things through Xero that are one-time or paid by check. **What problems is Xero Module for Whmcs solving and how is that benefiting you?** We purchased this for quicker reconciliation, for using two separate platforms for recurring payments and the second being able to run our support and client communications through. ### 3. Anyone with a basic knowledge of accounting should be able to quickly pick up the system without much trouble. Its exporting feature is particularly valuable, making work more efficient and streamlined. Instead of manually entering in new clients, I can now export them through the module. Being able to sync payments on both sides provides an easy check at a glance to determine the quality of records and reporting. **What do you dislike about Xero Module for Whmcs?** Sometimes correcting mistakes can be tricky, if not possible. In one instance, I had to rebook something several times because I couldn't delete or undo the original transaction.
