If you start from scratch like we did, using excel sheets and scribbled down notes, then implementing this product totally changes your mindset. It's a clean user friendly software that allows you to take control of any and all rental or sales items - regardless of whether you're a small time mom and pop shop, or a General Contractor serving entire regions.

Computer systems are generally pretty strict, but rather than unncessary punishment like most DOS based systems, RentalResult forces you to be better because of the way they have designed their UI in a more intuitive fashion. This system doesn't punish you for ingenuity either. If you've got a special case scenario - the software, and more importantly the team over at Wynne, are more than happy to sit down and help you figure out what it will take to get the job done. Since the system is not DOS based, there are a few situations where you'd like to pull easy fast information but it is relatively slow.

Finding some items of interest, like rental rates, takes several clicks more than it probably should - but that's possibly a necessary evil of having a point and click system compared to the usual black screen.

Maybe this is me being spoiled since 3 years ago i was basically using sticks and stones to do my operations, but now that I've experienced the software I run into situations where there are functions that SHOULD be stock already inside the system, that are either in development or not even on a roadmap yet which seem like no brainers. The most beneficial aspect of Rental Results is that there are modules to handle all aspects of our business and we can use the ones we need. From financial to service tracking Rental Results has it all covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest struggle we have with Rental Result is there are glitches sometimes (as with any software) and there seems to be a tendancy to roll out new functionality without full viability testing. There have been modules we go to use that have to have development work before it fits out needs. Not having a strong in house knowlege and support of the Rental Result product leaves us relying on Wynne for a lot more support than our company wants to pay for at times. Rental results has been a great program with helping us track equipment rentals and consumable usages. Big improvement from trying to track everything with spreadsheets. Very helpful and shines a light on all the details of what/where/ when items go to job sites. Monthly meetings with Jimmy wilcock are helpful with keeping up on updates changes and sharing issues that need addressed. Jimmy is very knowledgeable with the program and has been a big help!
