For companies working within building materials distribution like ours, Workz has some noticeable gaps that slow down day‑to‑day operations. The biggest missing piece is inventory‑aware task triggers. If one of our key suppliers hits a delay and our lumber stock runs low, Workz cannot automatically flag or adjust any open delivery tasks linked to that material. Every time this happens, I have to hunt down every relevant contractor project task and update them one at a time manually. We recently ran into this exact scenario when a lumber shipment got pushed back, and manually updating every related task ate up half my workday. Its built‑in reporting functionality is also very limited. There is no way for me to filter and group output by individual contractor clients. Every time I need to review job status for a specific builder, I’m forced to run a full dataset export and sort all the records manually within spreadsheets.
