## Working Model Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Mechanism Simulation with Intuitive Design Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Working Model?**

The best part is being able to quickly simulate mechanisms without having to create a physical prototype. You can test your ideas in just two clicks to see how forces and movement react. Drawing the connections (hinges, springs) is intuitive and incredibly useful for understanding the kinematics before delving deeper into the design.

**What do you dislike about Working Model?**

The really unfortunate thing is that we're stuck in 2D. For serious projects, that quickly becomes limiting. The interface really looks like it belongs to an old program, and the graphics are lagging behind what's available today. Furthermore, the collision simulation often requires excessive fine-tuning of the settings, otherwise it just behaves erratically.

**What problems is Working Model solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with a model eliminates the need to build everything in real life to see if it holds up. It allows me to quickly confirm whether my mechanism idea is sound or if it will break. The major benefit is that we save a tremendous amount of time in the design process and avoid wasting money on prototypes that are doomed to fail.

  ### 2. Quick and intuitive simulation to test your mechanisms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Working Model?**

What I like most about Working Model is the ability to quickly test different versions of a mechanism by directly applying the laws of mechanics and immediately seeing the behavior in motion.

**What do you dislike about Working Model?**

What I like less is that the software remains limited to 2D, which is not ideal for truly 3D systems and sometimes forces you to simplify the models too much.

**What problems is Working Model solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working Model helps me quickly validate the functioning of mechanisms before launching physical prototypes.

  ### 3. Practical Medium for Production or Prototyping

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Working Model?**

This website can create detailed simulations of evolving systems. The interface of the platform is so simple that anyone can use it easily. It feels like an online showroom where I can actively test the efficacy of various designs without going through a process of physical manufacturing. I can actually see how the plans work in real time and quickly, which leads to better schemes in the end.

**What do you dislike about Working Model?**

Although it is well-suited in webbings, Working Model's performance may lag when it comes to intricate designs. This gets me frustrated when interpretation of cellular features is required in lab report. Also, the cost can be a deterrent of the advertisement for hobbyists or the casual users.

**What problems is Working Model solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get clear on and try out diverse design principles by model construction and measurements as a mechanical engineer. It lets me detect the bugs on early stages, so hence my projects become not only faster even exceptional ones. It gives me the convenience of my time and money savings while avoiding troubles of future.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Working Model?**

I used Sigmaplot for a graphical study and analysis and I found it to be very easy and handy to plot by loading the data sets, the broad option for customization had made it very widely used graph plotting software. It helped a lot to understand the graphical results in a short period.
The user interface was also simple and basic to use, without complexity.

**What do you dislike about Working Model?**

Well while working on large data files, I noticed it lag a bit also it sometimes miss plot certain data if working on big data files.
Also, there is limited access to free users, and its cost is a bit high than required.

**Recommendations to others considering Working Model:**

Well if you are good in Python, you may not need to use sigma plot

**What problems is Working Model solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well I was doing a research project on the study of Marine Sediments for the geological analysis.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darwin Reynell N. | Project Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Working Model?**

You have in each union, trajectories, speeds, accelerations, forces, among others. It is very useful. I had contact with this software during my university course called "Dynamics of mechanisms and machinery". It is practical, easy to learn, you have many information in the configurations made, even if the number of links used is high. Time is a limiting factor in the design process, in that sense, working 2D model helps to dismute those times. It allows to be more effective in the conceptual design process. You do not need to create a physical prototype.

**What do you dislike about Working Model?**

The 2D Design Version, from the point of view of conceptual design it is very useful, since you have the calculations quickly and reliably.

**Recommendations to others considering Working Model:**

The 2D Design Version from the point of view of conceptual design it is very useful, since you have the calculations quickly and reliably. The 3D Design Versión is even more reliably. Obviously the 3D design exceeds the 2D design

**What problems is Working Model solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design of a mechanism to change the speed in a variable chain transmission system. With this mechanism it was possible to determine the required positions to reach certain speeds in the transmission cones. It was very useful in determining the forces and thus obtaining the state of charges. It was part of my final project during my bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
