The best part is being able to quickly simulate mechanisms without having to create a physical prototype. You can test your ideas in just two clicks to see how forces and movement react. Drawing the connections (hinges, springs) is intuitive and incredibly useful for understanding the kinematics before delving deeper into the design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The really unfortunate thing is that we're stuck in 2D. For serious projects, that quickly becomes limiting. The interface really looks like it belongs to an old program, and the graphics are lagging behind what's available today. Furthermore, the collision simulation often requires excessive fine-tuning of the settings, otherwise it just behaves erratically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
