I love that we can swap out videos when we need to update without having to change links everywhere.

I also really like how intuitive and simple the webinar platform is to use, including the option to upload presentations and videos directly rather than only having the option to screen-share.

We've had no problem with the performance of the webinar platform or the video tools (e.g. transcription, captions etc) and it's been simple to onboard people when we have new hosts involved in webinars.

The Pardot integration is one we haven't utilised so far but it's good to know it's there. So far we've simply exported the data we need, when we need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main thing I can think of off the top of my head right now is the limited customisation of the webinar platform, including the inability to change languages of headlines and section headers. These are small things but when hosting a webinar in German, for example, it's a bit jarring to be unable to change that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While our team doesn't handle bulk editing in Wistia, I like that I can make minor edits to it within the platform. It saves me time from having to export the video every time I want to make adjustments.

I mostly use it from a Digital perspective, I wasn't involved in contracting or onboarding the platform, so I don't know if there were any learning curves with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was relatively straight-forward to host a user conference, swap between speakers, etc. Their support was also very responsive if we ran into issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A couple of things, all solvable.

1. Sending event emails to attendees doesn't include a calendar invite. We had to send distinct emails with calendar invites to attendees.

2. Sharing your screen adds your screen to the live presentation immediately. So, if one speaker is talking, and another is prepping to speak next, the second person cannot share their screen without messing up the first person.

3. Number of attendees counter was buggy; we started a user conference with a report that we had 2 attendees... but then 50... then 3... then 53... then 2. Despite the number, we did indeed have 50+ attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the different functionalities, in particular the ability to analyse each video from the engagement to when people are dropping out and rewatching the platform is also super user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish Wistia also had an interactive side of it so that you can make videos interactive, for example, have the 'click here' link and a quiz or training material pop up directly on that video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Primarily, we have really benefitted from the robust API that Wistia provides. We have been able to build our video service around the functionality that it provides. One of the best features for me is the ability to swap out videos without having to upload a new instance and have a new link, which is really helpful when our content is updated. The chaptering features and call to action options are great, as well as being able to add pop-up links during a video. I always have issues choosing the date range in the analytics features. That's the biggest pain point for me because if I don't want to use any of the set dates that Wistia has, like past 30 days or past 7 days, and I want something specific like just the month of September or August, it can be a bit of a pain to try and select those since it never seems to work properly for me. The platform is very intuitive and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to navigate and use. The native integrations are particularly impressive, providing a seamless user experience and reducing the need for manual intervention across multiple teams.

Wistia’s AI capabilities also add significant value by offering a wide range of features that help streamline workflows and minimise the involvement of multiple teams. The onboarding experience has been excellent, and the Wistia team has consistently been prompt and responsive whenever support is needed.

Overall, my experience with Wistia has been very positive. One area that could be improved is providing greater visibility into potential domain, firewall, and security restrictions that may impact webinar attendees, particularly those joining from enterprise environments. Identifying these issues earlier could help prevent last-minute access challenges and reduce dependency on IT teams. I like that Wistia is very easy to use and offers tons of customization features. We can add our logo and customize player colors, which is really great as our brand evolves. The online editor is a standout feature, allowing us to do simple video edits without relying on Adobe Premiere, which saves us money. The customization even extends to player controls, giving us flexibility for different use cases. I also like the form feature, which was something other video hosting providers lacked. I think Wistia's integration features with Salesforce could be improved. We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud for sending automated emails, but right now, we have to post them to a webhook and send them over to Marketing Cloud, which processes it and then sends it to Sales Cloud. It would be fantastic to have a native integration. The current process could be simplified, and having that integration with Salesforce would make our workflows a lot easier. I love using Wistia because it offers a centralized place to run events, making everything very easy to manage. The user interface is incredibly intuitive, which makes running live webinars simple and error-free. I appreciate the custom features that allow branding to shine at our events. Managing questions and chats during live events is smooth and hassle-free. Wistia's stability really stands out since I've experienced issues with other platforms in the past, but never with Wistia. I would like to see separate tracks for the speaker or speakers and the screen-sharing track. Having separate tracks would allow me to do custom edits externally on a dedicated video editing software. It would be great if Wistia could also include editing features that are more tailored towards custom tracks. It's something similar to what Riverside offers. Although Riverside is not very stable and not reliable, its editing features are really useful. If Wistia could mimic some of those features, it would be perfect.
