Virtru has consistently helped our practice keep our patients’ records safe and secure. I find Virtru Email Encryption very easy to use because it’s right there when I need it, and I don’t have to worry about it not working. I also haven’t had many customers complain about being unable to open encrypted emails; for the few who have, I think it’s mostly an unwillingness to use it. The only issue I’ve encountered with Virtru is that, when I also had a CRM like HubSpot connected, I didn’t get any notification that I couldn’t track/log through HubSpot and send via Virtru at the same time. The data was encrypted, but there was no note explaining what happened, and even I couldn’t open it. It can be a bit frustrating when it has an update, and then you have to uninstall it and reinstall it for it to work again. It would be nice if that wasn't necessary. I like how easy Virtru Email Encryption is to use, especially with just the toggle of a button. It's very user-friendly, which makes it simple to protect our uploads to our email. I constantly have to log in when I’m trying to use Virtru. Whether I’m on my phone or my laptop, I’m repeatedly asked to log in and verify again. It’s especially irritating when I need to view documents in a crunch situation or when I’m in a rush, because I end up having to go through verification emails even when I’m already logged in. I appreciate using Virtru Email Encryption because it confidently allows me to send emails that previously had to be faxed due to legal requirements. I have had a recurring problem where my email will initially indicate that it sent, but then get kicked back shortly after with an error message saying it was not sent. This happens both with and without attachments, and there's no consistent pattern that I can see. I think there needs to be some optimization to ensure smoother usage and address these glitches. Virtru does a great job at keeping the documents secure. It is easy to use when it is working. I use the toggle button that shows up right at the email you are composing.
