All standard features are present: SDV, Data Review, Medical Coding, complex edit checks without custom functions, and exports in fda format (xml, archives in pdf etc.). Randomization and study drug allocation can be configured directly in the same system! A lot of reports are included out of the box, including KRI. It is also possible to create our own customized reports in the application. Post-go-live changes can be done quickly without migration and downtime! The eTMF included at a very low cost is a very nice asset. The support team is always very responsive every thing goes smoothly. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** The user management between EDC and eTMF are done at 2 levels and it is not easy to understand. The accesses should be managed all at the same place or not using the same "roles". Some improvements in data review navigation would be appreciated, indication of data review is not possible in batch right now. The queries are not role specific and can be closed by any role with query creation/closure rights. There is no targeted monitoring feature. Changing requirements in SDV requires a database change. The addition of an autoencoder will be beneficial even though having the medical coding is already an asset. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Viedoc provides us with EDC, eTMF and Randomization all in one plateform. We reduced the cost and time of validation and integration ### 2. They have implemented quite a lot of our suggestions. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** Lack of clarity on the costing structure and out of scope costs. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are always open to listen to process improvements and implement those. There are quite a few, so it is difficult to name all, but they have implemented the Viedoc Reports, ability for more than one user to update the same form/subject data. It is highly navigable and makes allocating appropriate permissions for different clinical parties alongside adding, reviewing and tracking documents incredible streamlined. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** I think that sometimes in the eTMF set-up phase during instantiation issues can arise, it would be useful if there were some further guidelines on the eTMF template process - or if the error pages contained more information so that one can identify the error much quicker (as sometimes I am left for a long period of time trying to figure out a minute error that is preventing instantiation). **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Filing and maintaining eTMFs. It makes adding documents much less of a hassle and time consuming. I've felt that Viedoc is more user friendly compared to other EDC's I've seen or worked on. eLearning in Viedoc is very useful and all the topics are explained in detail. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** I've faced some issues with Javascript in Viedoc, even though the code works fine in other platforms. I've also faced some issues while working in Study Schedule. When I tried saving the schedule after adding 4-5 visits, the schedule was not getting saved. However the issue was resolved when I tried after saving it for the 3rd time or so. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** As per my understading, Viedoc constantly tries to fix the issues / bugs that we address / notice in their latest release. They add new features (like recently added Form Link ) that make the designer as well as the site user's work easier. For example, the icons are clear and make sense for what they mean. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** The data exports can take a bit of time to run - e.g. the Review Status export for a trial with around 400 subjects can take about 45 minutes to run. These, at least, one discrepancy between data exports and Viedoc report. For example, the Review Status data export has SDV by blank for forms that do not require SDV, however, the Review Status Viedoc report (by form) has forms not requiring SDV listed as 'Not required'. There's no easy way to determine pending visits for subjects (ones that are expected but haven't been completed by end of window). **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides an electronic data capture system / easy databases for the company to use. **Official Response from Johannes Molin:** > Hi Michelle, Thanks for your honest feedback. We also have a report dedicated for pending visits - we call it the "Overdue Events" Report. Here you will see lists of all visits not yet initiated although the visit window end date has passed. And what is even better is that in a sub-report you will also find a list of events that are about to become overdue, meaning thecurrent date is in the later half of the visit window but the visit is still not initiated in the EDC.
