Since I’ve mostly worked in medical coding, I find it simple, straightforward, and direct to use. And I've done Lab integration as well, it is very seamless and easy. And for access issues, we are getting almost instant responses for the customer helpdesk. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** In Coder, I’ve noticed a couple of issues with ATC codes. First, generally for medications there will two or multiple ATCs available, but for some medications a few ATCs don’t show up in Coder even though they are available in WHODRUG. Second, when I export the medical coding, only ATC level 4 is included. I understand that we code at level 4, but some sponsors require (or ask for) ATC level 2 codes as well. The PMS study feature is impressive and something I haven't seen in other EDCs. I also appreciate the new repeating item group setting in the 4.92 release, which minimizes work and errors. But it has been improved from initial times. The initial training was extensive and allowed us to start designing studies almost immediately, which was very beneficial. Additionally, the support team is almost always available to assist us if we have questions, which is great. Viedoc's pricing is better, and the tool is far more advanced compared to the previous EDC tools we used. **What do you dislike about Viedoc?** Sometimes in the designer, when duplicating a field that already existed in a design, and you make updates to the duplicated field and try to save, it doesn't save or tell you why. You then have to go back into the form and add a new item and update it. Only then can you save. This only happens with some control types and some forms. Also, there are security aspects that annoy me, like the Web API secret key expiring every year, which I keep forgetting to renew. The query resolution feature stands out for me because it's simple to download and navigate all queries, and I can easily re-query a field and see the query history. I also enjoy using the built-in coder and being able to go directly to the term for queries by selecting it in the coder. Viedoc is time-saving and incredibly easy to navigate. While closing queries, there is no control of who approving the queries. For example, if one role (Monitor) raises query in EDC to site, anyone can approve the query (other roles who have access to query management). I dont like having people on different revisions of the same form e.g. dependiong on when its initiated. This version being burnt in is confusing as all hell. Sometimes you just want to change something, regardless of burnt in version. I hate how you can have an AE form on 9 and then one on 9.2 and one on 10.1. its clunky **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** I believe they are working on log lines. That will be excellent. At the moment we need to do some manipulation to get the data to be easily readable by our clients. and that is more work. Lab form auto-mapping Since each lab test already includes its unit and normal range, the evaluation column should auto-populate based on the site-entered value, rather than requiring manual selection. This would significantly improve data quality. 2. Nested log-lines The log-line should support an additional level of nesting. For example, in the tumor “Target Lesion” form, the form itself is a repeatable log-line (I can add multiple lesions). After adding one, I need to enter data for baseline and cycles C1–C20 (as repeating log-lines). These data should be nested under “Target Lesion #1”. I’ll attach a picture to illustrate this idea if I can locate the screenshot button. **What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** From a DM’s perspective, the interface is user-friendly, the EDC build is straightforward, and even some complex edit-checks can be handled in EDC. The study workflow can be set up exactly as is needed and everything can be tested in training before going to production. We use Viedoc every single day, it is the center point of my day. This EDC integrates the data management and medical coding that I do on a daily basis.
