What do you like best about Vervoe?

I'd love to be able to score question answers in question groups rather than by candidate, to reduce bias.

What problems is Vervoe solving and how is that benefiting you?

Instead of having to trawl through CVs trying to interpret whether what someone has done is a match to our requirements, I get to see how they would approach the role we have.

For a role with over 65 applicants, the Vervoe process allowed us to shortlist 3 for phone interview. Of these, we invited 2 for face to face interview, and we ended up hiring both of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vervoe?

Seamless and enjoyable hiring process that enabled a comfortable screening and selection of candidates who were motivated to demonstrate their fit for our role in response to dynamic, relevant and meaningful set of criteria.

Had 100 applicants for a key role in our small business. Sent all applicants our customised Vervoe talent trial. 40 completed it. 7 were shortlisted. 1 was hired for advertised role. What do you dislike about Vervoe?

What problems is Vervoe solving and how is that benefiting you?

It was very important to hire the right person for a role that is central to our business. Without Vervoe we would have spent a long time screening candidates, and had misleading information in advance of meeting candidates. "Been using Vervoe for a few months and love it!"

What do you like best about Vervoe?

We hire sales reps remotely and this helps us to weed out unprofessional applicants very well. Our applicants live throughout the US so we hire them and fly them to Chicago without first meeting them face to face. What do you dislike about Vervoe?

"Easy way to pre-screen applicants"

What do you like best about Vervoe?

It can be a bit glitchy from time to time but the team has been very responsive and they have been rolling out improvements on a regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Vervoe:

We were looking for a skill testing application that was flexible and allowed for a variety of question types. We find that developing new questions is simple and over all the program is easy to use. We find that our completion rates are not as high as we would like and we do spend a fair amount of time following up with candidates who haven't completed talent trials. One way we improved this is by reading resumes and only inviting interesting candidates to complete trials. And, we only have candidates complete one longer skill trial instead of breaking it up into smaller tests. We have found a better completion rate using these strategies. All the main documents and data needed for intelligent recruiting are kept in one place. If you're someone who doesn’t recruit often, but want to keep track of candidates and assess them fairly while managing all your other business processes (who has time to set aside a whole day for reviewing application letters?) This SAAS won't do the work for you - you still need to populate it with valid selection tasks appropriate to your industry and the position you have available. But once you've done that work, this will save you a lot of time, confusion and headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can see where I'm up to in the recruitment process, can grade candidates fairly and keep track of where they are in the process, so that contacting them at their different terminating points is done. "Streamline your hiring process with leads from job posting boards"

What do you like best about Vervoe?

We liked the Zapier integration and the Indeed job board posting. Also, Vervoe offers a wide range of pre-made assessments to choose from and customize for our pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vervoe?

I wish there was an easier way to track the source of our candidates. Also, a deeper integration with our current tools via API would better streamline our process. Also wish there were more job board options (but I do believe this feature is in BETA). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vervoe solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a way to track the progress of our candidates in a way that was a little more automated. We have a small team and we needed a way to streamline the initial stages of the hiring process while still bringing on quality candidates to interview. With Vervoe we were able to break down our process in Kanban format. The pre-made industry specific assessments helped us to find good questions to ask candidates for our sales rep position as well. "Excellent Product That Helped Us With Two Great Hires"

What do you like best about Vervoe?

We really loved the quality of the applicant testing, and so did our applicants. The product experience allowed us to have comprehensive talent trials together in less than an hour. Vervoe also offers a library of tests made by industry experts, which were also quality. The tests allow for interesting formats through the use of video and interactive content, which was a big plus for us a creative agency. What do you dislike about Vervoe?

At the time that we used Vervoe, posting ads to job boards was about to go into beta. This was the only feature I would have requested, but it seems that the Vervoe team are already working on integrating this into the product, which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
