What do you like best about Varicent?

The quickness in replies to open tickets. The significant help and assistance that we have received from our customer success manager has been top-notch. Varicent is open to feedback and will implement changes that customers have requested! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Varicent?

Inability to export a list of tables that is used. It would be nice to be able to export a complete list of individual aspects of the environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Varicent?

I like the continuous improvements Varicent makes by modernizing the admin experience, enhancing reporting, and developing upgrades frequently. It speeds up administration and makes the reporting look more modern and fresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Varicent?

They are constantly changing their support model and support team. I have no idea who to contact when something goes wrong. They've also created a forced migration from legacy reports and servers to new reporting and servers and the migration has been a very poor experience. This is unlikely to impact new users though. The initial setup was very complicated, and we had a 3rd party vendor help us stand it up. There are so many more options for BI that may already be a free connection to your existing products. Varicent has a pay-to-use model where you can import flat Excel files, but the second you want direct connections to a database, it's another product to pay for.
