Upkeep has been great to work with; the ease of use is what I like the most. I am able to manage and have visibility across the entire enterprise which makes work a lot simpler.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I understand the complexity of an application and the growth. Upkeep is a powerful tool that can be used in any business sector. A lot of my organization's pain point with the application came about trying to integrate with other platforms.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PM's
Work Orders
Maintenance & Facilities management

 ### 3. Intuitive and Focused Work Orders Make This a Standout

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

intuitive and focused work order creation

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

There is nothing i dislike about Upkeep.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Request and work order simplification and organization. Upkeep allows me to quickly prioritize information coming and as to what is a high priority and what is low. It also allows me to track all types of analytical information about costs for labour, parts, and assests.

 ### 4. Comprehensive Maintenance at a Great Price, But Lacks NAV Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Val G. | Technical Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

This is the most comprehensive Maintenance System I have used, and it comes at a very competitive price. It covers everything, from managing spare parts to providing analytics on costs, withdrawals, and work order compliance.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

it cannot be interconnected to NAV system to create a PO

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we relied entirely on manual tracking for maintenance, which made it time-consuming to generate any analysis.

 ### 5. Ease of UpKeep

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

The ease to input and collect data for reports is fantastic. It has been easy to learn and so very user friendly. Makes looking at work orders in the beginning, in progress and completed very easy. I know where to find information and to input data for our many buildings assets. The asset part of the program lets me keep up with all services to maintenance equipment such as heating and cooling units. It gives an outstanding view of the services that were required to the equipment to be used for future use. I can easily pull up any report for weekly and monthly reports.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I haven't found anything at this time to dislike about UpKeep.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a benefit at this time. I am able to keep tabs on work assignments and the completion of those assignments. I haven't had any problems at this time with Upkeep. I am able to use the information in Upkeep to give accurate accounts on reports.

 ### 6. Admin user for 4 years, great tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Great tool for any business to bring structure and organization to a maintenance section.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The one thing I don't like is the amount of little bugs and glitches from time to time, and when you get used to using it one way, they come up with an upgrade then you have to learn the new way, but that is evolution.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to keep track of all motor assets in our facility, provide structure for the maintenance team and it's great to be able to schedule all of the work for the technicians, resulting in a much more efficient facility.

 ### 7. Organized Job Management, But Per-User Pricing Adds Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna E. | Safety Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

UpKeep helps keep job orders well organized. It is easy to go to a job in progress or completed and see what stage it is in or what tasks have been completed.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I don't have much negative to say about UpKeep, besides you have to pay per user. If you have multiple people that need to use the software, the cost can add up.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UpKeep helps our team manage maintenance jobs. We can easily track the status of a project and see what has been done and what needs to be done.

 ### 8. Upkeep is the best Maintenance/Asset Mangement System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ralph D. | Chief Operating Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I have introduced Upkeep in 2 different organisations (a Large Hotel and a Municipality) over the last 5 years, and each one of them has retained Upkeep to date. The ease of implementation, the features, and the ease of use for end users make Upkeep the best preventative and reactive maintenance system/app in the market. The system is designed by people who understand maintenance & facilities management, and the maintenance teams I've managed have embraced Upkeep (even the old-school team members who generally hate using phones & apps). I am an advocate of Upkeep and have recommended Upkeep to friends & colleagues who are looking to improve the productivity of their maintenance teams and make preventative and reactive maintenance easy to manage. I've introduced Upkeep in a large hotel, and now in a Premier Tourism Precinct in Australia's Top End. Try it....it will be one of the best decisions you've made in a long time.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The cost per user can get the annual costs of subscription right up there especially if you have multiple Technicians / Maintenance Personnel. However, the ROI in terms of outcomes for the organisation makes it a no brainer.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting & tracking reactive maintenance jobs, scheduling preventative, analysis and reporting to make informed Capital Expenditure decisions.

 ### 9. Upkeep has helped us track our work better.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler W. | Facilities Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2021

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

They continue to update and improve the software to have more options and function better.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I would like the analytics to be more user friendly. I need to learn more about how they work, but I would think it would be more obvious and have better filters without need a lot of training on basic things. Like seeing the cost associated with a single asset or a specific category, or The number of request submitted for a single location In the last year. Just as some examples.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it so much more efficient to store information and easily accessible about our different buildings and assets (vehicles and equipment). We can look all that up from the computer and not have to be at the location with the asset or building.

**Official Response from Margot Ford:**

> Hello Tyler! I'm so glad to see that UpKeep is making it easy to store information and keep a history/record of the work that's being done. In addition, thank you for the feedback on attaching files and pictures. I'll let our team know about your frustration, they're always looking for customer feedback, so yours is appreciated!

 ### 10. Best work order system I've used in my 13 years in this industry.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S. | Facilities Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

The activity page on each work order. Being able to add information for all of us to see from different log ins in real time with email notifications is outstanding. We've recently delved into the auto PM part of the system now that our team is growing and it is working wonderfully.

The many customization options for the request portal is another of my favorite features.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I wish I could back date the start date of an auto pm. Say I did it two weeks ago and that's the date I want the auto work order to work off of, it wont let me. Either that or be able to manually change the next trigger date without adjusting the future frequencies.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication is the biggest one. Negates the need for multiple phone calls when as soon as you enter a note, everyone attached to the work order receives an email. Also being able to tag someone who isn't attached so that they also receive the email is awesome.

 ### 11. Flexibility Galore

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Easy to submit requests. our implementation went well with extra support from Gary.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I would like some formatting features within the description box like bullets, bold and underline and when you print the work order, the description would show the same as it appears on screen.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Got rid of paper that wasn't completed, lost, or too dirty to read. We have better data on work that is completed or not.
Adapted to other types of on-demand work order that now supports non maintenance type of work.

 ### 12. UpKeep is a company that grows with you

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek L. | ES Service Desk, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I like that they are continuously in development and avidly listen to their customers for features and fixes.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

It takes a while for bugs to be resolved just like G2 fixing unfillable search forms

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining maintenance requests and providing the infrastructure to track the requests and details therein.

**Official Response from Maria Rossodivito:**

> Hi Derek, thank you for your review! Your feedback means the world to us. If there's anything else we can do to enhance your experience, please let us know. We're always here for you.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

 ### 16. Great for Tracking, But Internal Billing Is Awkward

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn C. | Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Tracking and accountability for actual tasks being assigned and completed was great

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

If I wanted to use it internally I would have to identify a dollar amount to have my time billed to another department. If I did it the Upkeep way my coworkers saw what I make or
I would have had to make a number up defeating the purpose.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, if something is an immediate need it shows up, gets assigned and will show when completed and that is a huge help.

UpKeep has been an invaluable asset to our maintenance team. The most helpful feature for us has been the work order management system. It allows us to easily create, assign, and track work orders, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. The ability to attach photos and documents to work orders has significantly improved our communication and documentation process.

Additionally, the mobile app has been a game-changer. Our technicians can access and update work orders on the go, which has greatly increased our efficiency and reduced downtime. The real-time notifications keep everyone informed and up-to-date, which is crucial for our fast-paced environment.

The reporting and analytics tools have also been extremely beneficial. We can generate detailed reports on our maintenance activities, helping us identify trends and areas for improvement. This data-driven approach has led to more informed decision-making and better resource allocation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian S. | Director of Maintenance Strategy & IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

We have been using Upkeep CMMS for over a year now. It has been a critical tool for managing our maintenance operations. The interface is very user-friendly, making it easy for both experienced and new users to navigate. It's streamlined and intuitive, so I don’t need to spend much time explaining how to use it.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

While Upkeep is feature rich. It is not wildly customizable for individual organizations and most feature improvements come from group feedback from the community. However, the open API does allow users to build out customizations based on their own use cases.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved Digitalization, Tracking and Information availability.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenda R. | Director of Learning and Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

From my perspective in a training role, Diego at Upkeep provided us with all of the support we needed to get ramped up and going! He spent time with various stakeholders to ensure proper introduction to the system and understanding, and even joined an employee training call in case questions came up that I was unable to answer. Learned feedback has been that they apprecaite the ease of use and how it organizes things for them so they don't lose track! I appreciated this support for a new system!

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I my role, I do not have any dislikes on the system.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes the little things get forgotten. With Upkeep, we are able to keep track of even the smallest things so they do not far off of the radar.

**Official Response from Maria Rossodivito:**

> Hi Glenda thank you for your fantastic review! So glad to hear how supportive Diego has been for your team. If there's anything else we can do to enhance your experience, please let us know. We're always here for you!

Easy to use when reporting an issue when a matter arises.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

There is no answer to provide about Upkeep.

 ### 42. Easy to Use - Keeps me Organized! Though Lacking Customer Service

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Nothing new. I've stopped using the service as I found Apple Reminders to be just as efficient. Then, eventually starting using MotionAI instead.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Customer service. The cancellation process was frustrating. They held me to contract that my predecessor had signed and wouldn't budge even a little.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really helps keep me organized and make sure that I get all of the work complete that needs to be completed.

**Official Response from Victoria Johnson:**

> Hi there, Thank you for your review! We're happy to hear that UpKeep is helping with PM reminders and that it's keeping you organized! That's outstanding. If you ever need anything, please email info@onupkeep.com. We're always here to help!

 ### 43. User-Friendly, Quick, and Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie N. | Safety and Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

UpKeep replaced our email maintenance ticket system. UpKeep is user-friendly, so it was easy to train our technicians and requesters on how to utilize the system. It's organized; lots of different options are available to suit your organization. We really like how easy it is to submit a ticket, and how you can do this on the mobile app as well! Support has been wonderful post implementation. Brian does a wonderful job at answering any questions we may have in a timely, effecient manner.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Our implementation manager was out for 2 out of the 4 weeks of our implementation, so it was a little confusing as our next point of contact did not communicate much with us.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UpKeep is our CMMS which we did not have in place before. It keeps tickets visible and streamlines our ticketing process. It also has helped with the issue we've had in the past where tickets submitted are vague, missing information, or incomplete. Our techs can deny and let the requester know to provide more information.

**Official Response from Maria Rossodivito:**

> Hi Natalie, thank you for your review! Your feedback means the world to us. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're committed to delivering excellence. If there’s anything we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at info@upkeep.com.

Getting the software connected to our machines.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking maintenance

 ### 45. Upkeep Preventative Maintenance Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William C. | Maintenance Management Software Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

UPkeeps App Application works very well for the Techs in the field. The software is pretty easy to use once you start exploring. Workorder use and setup is very straight forward and can be created from different sections web application eleminating bouncing around in the software. Upkeeps Adoption Metrics in Analytics is nice and can be customized to fit your needs. Customer support can help you with reports if you don't see what you need. Checklist is a nice feature for the Technicians to follow and make sure nothing gets missed. Parts and Inventory is improving and can be setup with other software like Netsuite to capture Inventory costs. Customer service is excellent and very helpful with really good response times. Upkeep listens to what the needs are for the customer as they grow. Pay for the Premium Support.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

A few of the dislikes. The PM process in exporting and importing to create large number of PM's can be improved. Updates need to be tested with customer support before being released to the custormers. Thought needs to be given to the types of industries using Upkeep. Upkeep is improving on that subject. Need better forms customization.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upkeep will be helping with the API feature for parts/Inventory.

**Official Response from Maria Rossodivito:**

> Hi William, thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying UpKeep. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're committed to delivering excellence.

 ### 46. UpKeep Work Order

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Director Of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Helps us see what we are having the most issues with and the time frame that it takes to solve those problems

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Really has way more features than we use!

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to schedule maintenance on devices and equipment is one thing we did not have a great way to handle. UpKeep sends the reminder and a time frame to have those done, and alerts admins if not done on schedule!!

 ### 47. Customer support was outstanding. Upkeep offers us all the features we need to run our buildings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

The ease of use. The asset management allows us to track repairs and then assists with the replacement of our assets. The integration was very well done.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Some of the old features moving to the new ones are confusing.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now track work orders to assets. This helps us to determine budgets and timelines for when to replace or repair. Because it tracks all information, we can look back at history and make solid decisions.

 ### 48. Easy and straight forward

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2025

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

UpKeep is easy for anyone to use to create maintenance requests and check the progression of the work requested. It is simple and logical.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

We have temperature sensors also linked to UpKeep but they are not available on the phone app, which is a big miss.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping with the maintenance requests and organizing the maintenance department as a whole.
Before, the maintenance department was based on shop floor feedback, not necessarily opening maintenance orders, but firefighting all the time.

 ### 49. One of the best CMMS I have used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Upkeep is essential in the day to day operations here. I like having all the information needed to complete a task at the technicians fingertips. It makes the entire process of scheduling preventive and reactive maintenance tasks extremely streamlined and allows for user friendly analytics and reporting. I am able to build the system and simultaneously schedule work as it is built which is making it very easy to implement the system to technicians who are not used to using a CMMS. Whenever an issue arises where information is not recorded correctly or I have a hard time trying to accomplish a task, customer service is always ready to help me figure out the issue and come up with a solution. No matter your maintenacne needs or how in depth you need the sytem to be depends completely on you. It is multifaceted and options can be turned on and off with ease.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I have not found anything that I dislike about Upkeep.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were a completely reactive maintenance department before Upkeep. Now we are beginning to implement many preventive and predictive inspections and repairs into our work load. It is helping to solve many inssues we have had with excessive downtime or worse unexpected downtime.

**Official Response from Maria Rossodivito:**

> Hi Mark, thank you for your review! We're so glad that UpKeep has met your expectations. We'll continue working hard to provide you with the best experience possible.

 ### 50. After 13 years of the same CMMS, we wish we would have discovered Upkeep years ago.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug L. | Process Safety / Automation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

We had used eMaint for 13 years. About 9 months ago we started exploring options for updating the platform that we were using. We pretty quickly narrowed down the field of CMMS platforms to a core group. After taking an in-depth look at the updated version of eMaint, Upkeep and two other platforms, we decided to go with Upkeep. As a corporate manager and admin for our CMMS, my focus was giving our techs a good app to use to make their lives easier. Upkeep has done that. Our techs like the app and have taken to using it very well. Even our teams that were still on paper have adopted using Upkeep without much trouble. The web version has a nice flow to it, adding users is a breeze, the analytics and dashboard functionality for LEAN is great. The constant stream of updates, added features and refreshes have been nice. They are adding some nice features and functionality. Even in the 9 months that I have had experience with Upkeep, the changes have been at a very goood pace. The AI checklist generator is actually pretty good. I was a little skeptical at first, but for general industry equipment, it did a nice job. Support has been good. They are very responsive. Our account reps throughout the migration and deployment process have been great to work with. They listen to feature requests, provide assistance with issues that we run into and do a nice job keeping us posted on the staus of updates and bug fixes.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Overall it is a very nice platform. I have been a little surpirsed at the number of bugs/glitches that I have found in working with the system, especially for a platform that was developed over 8 years ago. The support team has always been very responsive in resolutions for any issues. The purchase order functionality could use lots of improvement. This is one of the only areas that we have had disappointment with. It does lack intergration into the system for being able to link specific work orders, assets and update inventory when the items on the purchase order are recieved. Cycle counts could use some improvements as well. Not all platforms offer either of these functions, so it's not always a fair comparison, but some they were areas we were hopeful for.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More effcient documentation and completion of work. Visibility for maintenace and repair costs. Creating consistency in our maintenace procedures across multiple locations.

**Official Response from Maria Rossodivito:**

> Hi Doug, thank you for your review! Your positive feedback put a smile on our faces - we're thrilled to have you as a satisfied customer. If there's anything else we can do to enhance your experience, please let us know. We're always here for you!
