**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Upkeep was designed to not only cater to management and data interpretation but was created with technicians in mind. The ease of use and the scale of features makes Upkeep one of the most versatile CMMS out there. Starting from the ground up at a new site is never easy but Upkeep has made the transition smooth and effortless, not to mention months after implementation we are still getting the same customer support as day we did on day one.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

As a new site Upkeep has been with us everystep of the way, therefore it is hard to say where they lack. Any flaws or changes that we have found within the system were corrected within a very short time.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From the very beginning we struggled to keep up with all the assets we have on site along with all the data that we needed to be logging for the work being done. Upkeep came in and made asset hierarchy building quick and easy. Our technicians were able to learn the system and began inputting data within a couple days. Since we implemented Upkeep our KPIs have improved tenfold along with the cost of labor and parts.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I love that it does work orders, PM management, and inventory control. Being able to barcode and add photos of equipment is awesome. Maintenance, Production, Sanitation, and Quality all use this software. Creating work order notification takes less than 30 seconds. So much better than paper!

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I wish it had a workflow checklist ability. Have a checklist, complete checklist, assign owners as you go, and then the owners are notified and can complete their portion and close the loop. It has some of these features but not exactly what I'm looking for. To be fair, I have not found this is any other software.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have paper EVERYTHING and our PM program was a Google calendar. I'm in Quality, and I love that I can easily share our maintenance programs with auditors.

Some of the generating of reports could offer more options, like only tracking 7 days for specific properties.

The simplicity of upkeep is very nice. Also the filtering option and mobile app is extremely nice.

The thing I like least is it does seem a little slow at times, but it could just be the performance of the computer I am using.

It helps keep track of all of our preventative maintenance work orders with its simple user interface. The technical support is also AMAZING.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

They have a very basic structure in place which allows for ease of learning curve into CMMS. Their reporting tool using Google looker is nice as well.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

They are constantly updating things (every Friday) and they apparently don't sandbox these very well because every friday something new breaks..... It is super frustrating. Also they view you as a customer and that's all. I spent hours and hours helping them (for free) talk about new features and structures that would imporve the app. When then I ask for their help thye told me that's not what they do. Very frsutrating to have someone come in and tell you to pound sand after all the help I have given them... A pity. We will be moving. Every penny they say they can save you will be lost due to technician frustation, poor rollback on apllication policy, and lost revenue from billing. They have costs us at 25,000 in lost revenue and billings.

Easy use for techs and a mobile CMMS. But there are others that are better.

It's very user friendly. I like that I can filter the locations, and then filter by priority

Sometimes it's buggy. The app on my phone will crash multiple times, or it will not allow me to view the work orders. The desktop works well, but I don't always have that with me when I'm in the field.

We have 126 locations in our company. Upkeep has greatly helped us stay organized in our facility management.

There are several perks to using this app.  Tracking parts inventory.  The frequency of same equipment breakdowns.  Communication with the team about work orders and needs of the restaurant.  The ability to assign work orders to more than one technician.

My IHT dislike that the app kicks them out frequently and they have to log in to see the work orders.

I am able to assign multiple technicians to the same work order if the task is not urgent and can be completed when it is convenient for the team.

Upkeep has a flow of improvements weekly. They're constantly working to improve. The platform is modern and fairly user friendly. Support is responsive and can get you going. Once you've in the platform for a while, i've only found myself needing support maybe once in recent memory. Able to have my techinicians utlize the mobile app and after a while, they really start to catch on using the app efficiently.

Really just features I wish they had - the ability for all users to utilize the chat features on work orders.

It enables us to have a method of receiving requests. We are able to track, prioritize and complete work orders through my technicians.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Upkeep provides granular detail that can be customized in an almost infinite number of ways to best suit our business needs.  We have found ways to continuously improve our analytics and reporting that have allowed our business to continue to evolve as our capabilities mature

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

The platform format is not customizable in all areas.  For our use case, we have some unique product requirements that would be nice if we could change some of the embedded fields.  Because we have had to customize our workflows to fit within Upkeeps capabilities, some areas are limited.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Upkeep for asset and field resource management.  In addition we are using Upkeep to provide visibility to our organization around our productivity and project management.  We have built timeline analytics that provide understanding of our deployment timelines and overall capability.  We have built integrations with other platforms that allow for real time engineering ticket creation so our field team can access engineering support when needed.  As a system of record, this also provides asset level history that can be used to verify future repairs as needed.

I wish there were more functions included with a free user's account. The ability to comment would be helpful!

UpKeep allows us to efficiently track and coordinate all incoming work orders to help the team be more effecitive with their time and resources. It is such a simple program to use which makes training a breeze. Customer support has been amazing and helped us ease the implematnion and integration into our existing workload.

Nothing. All features are well thought of and help us be more efficient in our efforts.

Upkeep allows me to send service requests effortlessly  to my repair team ensuring timely repairs that does not interfere with our level of service.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I have not experienced  any downsides to using UpKeep as of yet.

UpKeep aids in helping the maintenance  dept keep track of inventory repairs all within the same centralized area.

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

I love how this maintenance tool helps us as a maintenance team stay oranized. With over 10 different businesses that my company owns that we have to manage/keep up and running, this tool is essential. Having managers request our assistance through upkeep helps keep things streamlined and helps us as a team properly disperse WO's to the proper team members and in a prioritized manner.
There are a few things I would love added but this tool is so worth the money and time learning to use it.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

There isn't many downsides to upkeep. One thing that I would like to be able to do is communicate with managers through the app that are not a paid subscriber.
I can do this but there is a lot of work around I have to do to make this happen. This is not user friendly.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upkeep is helping us manage our incoming issue and also helping use setup our regular pm's. This helps us prioritize problems and keep track of thing we do and have done for informational purposes.

By far what i like most about upkeep it its ease of use compared to other CMMS systems. The customer support is also amazing. The response time is fast once contact is made

When i bring up an issue that requires a fix and it is escalated to the engineering team, it takes some time to address it. I would also like to have feedback directed to me on the specific issue raised.

Currently, users of upkeep on iphone are not able to view pictures/images posted by technicians as part of their feedback on work orders. Upkeep is also coming up with weekly improvements/product releases and they make it easier to get things done. Specifically, i like the improvements made on the preventative maintenance module.

UpKeep has allowed our maintanance team to ditch paper time sheets while still allows custom reporting for our vacation property rental owner billing setup. We have 7-11 technicians using the mobile app ona daily basis and find it very user friendly. The implementation process about 1 year ago was smooth once planned out and locations, categories, parts were imported into UpKeep. When there have been occasional issues requiring support the UpKeep team has been very frienldy, fast, and reliable.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Hoping for fully-functional offline mode in the near future (or at least status changes, timers, and parts). It has been in developement for a long time. We are a very remote location with technicians who jump back and forth between weak cell signal and resort wi-fi which can create some gaps in service when on the go.

Digitization of maintenance team time-sheets. Rapid communication of work order requests from resort guests and other staff. Custom work order data analytics. I like Upkeep's customer Service the best. Whether it be through online chat, phonecall, email, or in-person; I have experienced great customer service by very knowledgeable people. I have made a major impact with my company by using Upkeep. This software basically took me by the hand and walked me through the process of being a CMMS operator. The upkeep university and the the staff's ready availabilty to answer questions about it's software, maintenance  records in general, and reliabilty has proven to be a game changer for me and the company that I work for.

I would prefer that the work orders cannot be closed without completing required fields, similar to how the requests are. For example, techs should have to enter a note, log their time, and checkoff tasks and checklists.

UpKeep has been a great tool for tracking our assets and scheduling maintanance/preventative maintanance. We also have all been using UpKeep to track our spending on our assets so that we can asses whether we should repair or replace.

UpKeeps customer support is also very quick and helpful. Their training was very indepth and they will cater to whatever your needs are. They make the software very user friendly and the implementation of data is very easy. Upon finishing their training they assist you in integration all of the data you require to get started.

For us the biggest dislike is that we use so many different vendors and contractors that do not use UpKeep and we have to manually send out and input invoices

**What do you like best about UpKeep?**

Upkeep is very easy to use. It does not have the overcomplication that some CMMS systems have. Sining off work for example is really quick and easy and thats what our users need/like.

The calender view is the best I have seen. We track PPM completion and the calender gives us visability at all times. Keeping it visual ensures that we adress any shortfalls before risks occur. 

The support team are easy to contact. They welcome feedback and are continuously improving the system.

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

Sometimes the list vew can be a bit clunky. If i want to review a large number of work orders then I usualy export to excel as its faster to work that way. The new custom status has helped with that though.

**What problems is UpKeep solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our PPM system was not really a system.  - All plant PPM's has since been scheduled through upkeep. This gives us constant visability of any risk through non compliance as well as a number of department performance metrics. We can see who is closing out what, how many issues are identified through the inspections and much more.

There was no formal system to caputure work requests - All work requests come through upkeep. It helps us track,prioirtise and plan work. 

Inventory management  - Prior to the introduction of upkeep there was no system to manage our spares. We now use the stock management system in Upkeep which provides an instant view of what we hold in the stores for each plant item and the locations where the parts can be found. The engineers find it really helpful and easy to use. We now have better visability and control of spares which leads to reduced downtime.

As we are a small operation, I am finding UpKeep to be a great tool. I am taking the online users course to learn more about the program so that I can tailor it to suit my operational needs. I imagine it could be great for a larger operation, but if you are smaller like mine, it's a great tool at a great price. Also, the online text support is great! I don't normally have time to be on a call and the text feature is very helpful to continue working while also getting assistance.

So far the only negative that I have encountered is that duplicate inventory parts cannot be merged after work orders have been creted. I would love to see that availablity as sometimes changes need to be made to correct double entries/errors and losing the past actions is not an option.

So far it's been a great tool for creating and maintaining scheduled PM's, keeping a more accurate inventory, and creating reports of monthly data for our clients.

One of key factors to highlight about UpKeep would be how strong the support for the mobile service is in comparison to other CMMS programs. Making usability less of a hassle for the team increases their availability to support production needs. Another high point is the capability it offers for deep diving into the analytics for trending, KPI, etc.

Something that could make UpKeep better would be the ability to group scheduled maintenance for related assets and generate only one work order, while maintaining the association with each individual asset in order to retain searchability for research purposes.

Structured platform (compared to something like Notion) with user permissions, predertimined work order propoerties, ease of setting up recurring work orders.

Seems to be a bit unpolished. Things like:
- Notification settings haven't worked consistently (not this emial thread but previous one)
- custom statuses aren't automatically selected on page views, 
- there's often glitches on things like saving a quick filter
- filtering by a person only filters on the "Assigned To" property and not also on "Additional Workers". This has confused a couple other people in my team.
- Doesn't have integration into Jira (some of us have used the zapier integration but updates don't go through)

We used to use Notion/Excel but found there to be too many cooks in the kitchen and stuff was being changed too much, work falling through the gaps.

We have just started this across two different sites. I like it. I have used many different ones but this one seems to work good for our techs. The mobile capability is working good for us we have more detailed work orders and assets with pictures.

The filters are a little difficult to get used to as there are many. I have coached many techs they have to zero out their filters. Probably because they saved search results. Other than that I like the interface. And it suits our sites very well.

The analytics tools, we need to understand consumption and costs and where our inventory levels are at, and Upkeep helps tremendously with that.

A few additional functions could be useful, like material transfers. When we transfer parts from one location to another it would be nice to get a notification or alert so our accountants can track it.

Tracking inventories to cross check our field operators with how much they are spending is vital especially in tougher economic times. We don't want parts spending to get out of control, so Upkeep allows us to cross check each purchase order/request. It also helps with tracking costs.

UpKeep's Work Order Management and Asset Tracking platform is a excellent solution for anyone needing to streamline their maintenance operations. The layout of the platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate. One of the best features of UpKeep is their Mobile App, which is super helpful for on the go people who need to open up tickets with pictures, or for techs who need to check on maintenence requests whille away from their desk. 

The Support Staff at UpKeep is wonderful. They provide quick and friendly assistance and even will walk you through something you don't understand on a screen share. I don't know of any other company's that will do that so quickly and friendly!

**What do you dislike about UpKeep?**

I wish there were more features like Conditional Selection when choosing for example a Location, then another dropdown would allow me to more granularly select an option. Also it would be good if we could better design the Request Portal with more options.

This platform allows us to easily keep track of Checklists for Preventative Maintenance and Work Orders for trouble tickets. The ease of use and simple design combined with the phone app allows us to use this in an on-the-go method, keeping our employees connected and on task.
