We can develop & test outside the studio but to finally run it in Studio is just a icing on the cake. Specially when I had to develop an app for a client I loved that I could either code in native language or use web based frameworks. The intergration with other libraries is just wonderful so we can just fire up somthing about Tizen and go see about how it's doing. During my 3 months on the project, I used it on a daily basis, true it had flaws but I would just ignore them & most of the time utilizing it's feature I would run it directly on a Physical Device for the smooth testing. **What do you dislike about Tizen Studio?** It crashes as much you can expect. The processess take up a lot of storage & memory & I personally wouln't recommend developing inside of the Studio, I know it's mean't for that but hear me out. When every I wanted to change assets that I already added I was contantly running into the issue where the Studio would crash & talking about developing, I didn't see any featured that a "supposed IDE" should have provided. **What problems is Tizen Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well samsung has a closed system using Tizen & it's good that they are providing support & software to create apps & services for their platform. I wanted to make a smartwatch app and found out that Tizen Studio only provides emulators for several TV models only. The only advantage in my opinion is that it's based on Eclipse IDE, thus inherits its keyboard shortcuts and layout. Also you don't have to pay for this software - it's free to download and use. **What do you dislike about Tizen Studio?** Random errors, requiring relaunching the app, or commenting and then uncommenting the code just to build. The community is small and error codes are ambiguous, so searching for a solution of particular problem might be really troubling. The IDE lacks dark mode, the certificates sometimes take few hours to be issued, and the default settings add another layer of diiscomfort. Issuing a certificate requires creating at least one account, which is rather time-consuming. And after creating the certificate, you might want to create another one, because you just got a new type of smartwatch, which wasn not included in the first certificate. In the end, just preparing to code takes lots of time. And when coding, it's not much better - one of the worst errors in my work was the compiler not seeing a library, while the IDE was actively suggesting its name. In the end I had to redo few hours of coding from scratch.
