# Which VAR/reseller partners offer the strongest data security and partner confidentiality before a multi-year engagement?

I&#39;d want the acquisition question answered in writing before signing anything multi-year, not left as an assumption. MicroAccounting&#39;s 2025 merger into Rand Group is exactly the scenario this thread is warning about, and I&#39;d ask any VAR directly what happens to my configuration documentation if they get bought mid-contract.
