What do you like best?
Intuitive and userfriendly interface. PSA in ERP systems are often overengineered and does not integrate PM processes. TimeLog starts with PM processes and it's therefore easy to get started Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
Linking TimeLog to financial management processes is where we experience some challenges.
Integration to economic: certain fields are overwritten and customer email is not transferred. Integration of project master data is limited to project name/ID. I would like all masterdata transferred including project_customer. Only invoice line i transferred to ERP. In order to match revenue to cost centers in an enterprise setup, I need all data on the spec (cost centers per resource and item/account no.), regardless of invoice layout.
Reporting is a mess. Too many reports and none of them gives me the data I need. I presume that most companies have a preference for BI tools and analytics. As a finance professional, I would love a TimeLog adding to excel, were I could work with timelog data in a data cube - or directly with the tables. A two dimensional report is not a pivot in my perspective. With the currently level of data, I would not be able to close the books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
We use Timelog mainly to track the salary, time-off, holidays and illnesses of our employees. With TimeLog we can see which of the employees are expected to return the next day to work. They are also able to put input in the system so that HR can approve their requests. This way there is no more need of writing e-mails to the HR in order to get a paid leave or holiday.
TimeLog also helps our employees to plan their backups more accordingly. We run a business that is open every single day of the year. We have some weeks where more employees leave than other, and this can result in a problem of order handling. Now we can see a bird view of who is leaving on which period. This helps our HR and employees to plan their leaves better so the business doesn't go on hold. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
We would like to get more benefits with this software in the next few months by creating project plans for our future goals. We have problems as none of us understand the tool. We wish that there was a personal training session where someone who is experienced in TimeLog can come over to explain us the basics of this tool, and tutor every single employee. Due to the Covid-situation we know that this won't be possible physically; but a virtual meeting and presentation would have done wonders for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing comes to mind. So far there are no complications. Maybe a bit more agility in the reports, so you can customise them a bit more Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
The support team is very responsive and helpful to questions for new users. The integration process works great and easily consolidates time-tracking, project specific management, and invoicing needs. The tool is also very reliable and it's very easy to register hours. The flexibility of the system is the main reason why we are able to keep using this system even though our business needs have changed vastly since COVID. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
The mobile app doesn't have the best user evidence and sometimes retrieving information from the tool is a manual process. It is difficult to generate automated messages and send reminders to employees -- that would be a very helpful feature for our team. What do you like best?
I like that this tool has helped us in being able to keep track of projects and what we are getting done as well as log time spent on that project. It makes us more effective every time that we receive a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
The functionality that was originally presented is a bit different than what we have received, but perhaps this is because of our price level. I am not sure, but we would like to have the full functionality of this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
Timelog es una aplicación genial que nos ha permitido llevar una cuenta exacta de las horas de trabajo detrás de cada proyecto, para poder generar recibos de cobro a nuestros clientes con la información exacta.
Otra ventaja de usar Timelog, es que permite supervisar el tiempo de trabajo que ha realizado cada uno de los empleados en cada proyecto, por lo que podemos manejar sus pagos de manera justa y organizada. Timelog es uno de los mejores softwares de manejo de proyectos que existe en el mercado, y el hecho de que permite crear recibos de cobro y/o pago es perfecto para nosotros.
Gracias a Timelog, nos olvidamos de otros sistemas viejos y complejos como usar hojas de Excel para llevar este tipo de control, ahora podemos manejar toda la información de manera exacta sin perder nada de tiempo o dinero extra.
La plataforma es muy fácil de usar, ya que Timelog fue definitivamente diseñado de manera intuitiva, además que es visualmente agradable por su paleta de colores. Es fácil de utilizar, personalizar y configurar desde el primer momento, y el hecho de que pueda utilizarse desde la pc o desde cualquier dispositivo móvil la hace la solución perfecta para cualquier compañía que desee supervisar el tiempo usado en cada tarea o proyecto de manera exacta. What do you dislike?
La app móvil requiere un poco más de trabajo, ya que le faltan funcionalidades que existen en la versión de escritorio. Sin embargo, Timelog sigue siendo excelente y nos ha ayudado a potenciar el tiempo que dedicamos a cada proyecto, y nuestros clientes pagan exactamente por el trabajo que les realizamos.
