PSA in ERP systems are often overengineered and does not integrate PM processes. TimeLog starts with PM processes and it's therefore easy to get started **What do you dislike about TimeLog?** Linking TimeLog to financial management processes is where we experience some challenges. Integration to economic: certain fields are overwritten and customer email is not transferred. Integration of project master data is limited to project name/ID. I would like all masterdata transferred including project_customer. Only invoice line i transferred to ERP. In order to match revenue to cost centers in an enterprise setup, I need all data on the spec (cost centers per resource and item/account no.), regardless of invoice layout. Reporting is a mess. Too many reports and none of them gives me the data I need. I presume that most companies have a preference for BI tools and analytics. As a finance professional, I would love a TimeLog adding to excel, were I could work with timelog data in a data cube - or directly with the tables. A two dimensional report is not a pivot in my perspective. With the currently level of data, I would not be able to close the books. **Recommendations to others considering TimeLog:** Data/analytics is insufficient of the shelf. Team up with an Analytic partner right away. There are some limitations to integrations. Do your analysis well before you start your project and plan how to close the gaps **What problems is TimeLog solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had several timeregistration systems across the organization. With TimeLog we now have 1 system with an MLE structure and enable us to share the same resource pool across legal entities, creating transparency for PMs ### 8. With TimeLog we can see which of the employees are expected to return the next day to work. They are also able to put input in the system so that HR can approve their requests. This way there is no more need of writing e-mails to the HR in order to get a paid leave or holiday. TimeLog also helps our employees to plan their backups more accordingly. We run a business that is open every single day of the year. We have some weeks where more employees leave than other, and this can result in a problem of order handling. Now we can see a bird view of who is leaving on which period. This helps our HR and employees to plan their leaves better so the business doesn't go on hold. **What do you dislike about TimeLog?** We would like to get more benefits with this software in the next few months by creating project plans for our future goals. We have problems as none of us understand the tool. We wish that there was a personal training session where someone who is experienced in TimeLog can come over to explain us the basics of this tool, and tutor every single employee. Due to the Covid-situation we know that this won't be possible physically; but a virtual meeting and presentation would have done wonders for our company. **Recommendations to others considering TimeLog:** If you wanna help your HR get his work done much easier, and have your employees plan their leaves accordingly; then you can give this tool a try. This tool primarily focuses on Project Management, but the HR and Employee Management is unlike we have seen in any other tools. **What problems is TimeLog solving and how is that benefiting you?** We solve HR problems thanks to TimeLog. We can see in a bird view who is leaving when, and what the salaries are of each employee. We wanna be considerate when it comes to money, and thanks to the tools TimeLog provides us we can plan ahead much better and provide bonuses to employees that perform their best. ### 10. The integration process works great and easily consolidates time-tracking, project specific management, and invoicing needs. The tool is also very reliable and it's very easy to register hours. The flexibility of the system is the main reason why we are able to keep using this system even though our business needs have changed vastly since COVID. **What do you dislike about TimeLog?** The mobile app doesn't have the best user evidence and sometimes retrieving information from the tool is a manual process. It is difficult to generate automated messages and send reminders to employees -- that would be a very helpful feature for our team. It would also be helpful to see future estimated revenues that would help with planning. **What problems is TimeLog solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem we are solving for is efficiency in HR and business management.
