What do you like best about Timehop?

Timehop is a great tool that is primarily used for personal reasons but could also be a benefit to larger, well-established companies. Timehop allows you to look back on memories from social networks. First, you link your social networks to the app and for each day it pulls posts and pictures that you posted on that day but a different year. As social media continues to grow and we hang onto it for longer periods of time the memories will only get better and better to relive as it can be easy to forget. If you work for a company who uses social media daily or often this could be a great tool to be able to look back and repost about awesome things your organization has done! What do you dislike about Timehop?

Timehop is an app and an app only. To me, it is not bothersome that it can't be accessed through desktop but to some that may be an annoyance. Because it needs to be run through an app it is challenging to share the use of timehop across an organization and ends up being the primary responsibility of one person. Recommendations to others considering Timehop:

Timehop would be an excellent tool for businesses to integrate with their established social media platforms. As user of social media for business I know it can be hard some days to create posts and Timehop gives an additional way to relive what you've previously done and posted and use it again in the present. What problems is Timehop solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can't say I have really solved problems per se but the benefit of revisiting old memories and events through social media is something I love! It is wonderful to see personal events from my life that I can revisit on the day. Typically there is something every day from my personal network but there is always a history "fun fact" on this day post. Time hop allows me to use old posts from years prior and repost them in the present as a reminder of an accomplishment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
