Thrive Apprentice - online and membership plugin helps to sell content and protect content on all site. Condition logic - is the best in my opinion feature, that they integrated everywhere. So it's possible not only build websites, but smart websites. Global Objects - amazing part, that you can create and put on many pages. If you want to edit, you can do it on any page, and all updates will be visible everywhere where object was used. Highly valuable updates. Now they are rare, but when it comes, it sometimes change the whole product from the ground. Articles and video updates on progress and real valuable education materials. Not just to do something, but really give something valuable even for more advanced users. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** Speed of loading for editing and saving. This part is still frustrating. Bugs that appears here and there. But they are solved... but slowly.. very slowly. Quiz Builder still just a beginners level. But they know how easily they could improve it. Support system is very slow. Now you can just email them, but still the answers comes and sometimes just left hanging, wihtout answering it. Usually they reply with scripted answers, even you are not a beginner user and don't listend to the problem written on the emails. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can have full control on whole website structure, design, objects, data, etc. ### 2. It's probably the easiest way to make a Wordpress site. There is a nice selection of templates for all kinds of uses (landing pages, sections of a webpage, forms, etc). And it integrates directly with most popular email service providers. They also offer responsive customer support and plenty of online video tutorials. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** As a Wordpress user it's not so much a downside, as it is the norm, but their "suite" is a compilation of Thrive product plugins, so you just have to keep them all updated. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** As far as Wordpress themes go, it's the most feature-packed, user-friendly theme I could find, at a very reasonable annual price. ### 3. What I pay to them as an annual subscription is way too low. I'm grandfathered in as I was one of their earlier adopters. They not only have a whole conversion-focused package of Wordpress plugins that make me 6 figures a year, but their support is fully trained and extremely tech-savvy, going out of their way to fix my issues. They also are constantly sending me blog posts and videos that boost my business and show me how to use their ever-evolving suite of features. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** It can be a bit buggy, but it's really nothing compared to the Goliath that is Thrive Themes. All bugs are easily fixed by support in the end, and they update me on the fixes. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** It builds out my whole business online. I cannot make do without it. My front-end website, funnels, pop-ups and courses are all on Thrive Themes' Thrive Suite. ### 5. There is also an agency subscription with which you can build 50 websites. For someone who wants to manage more websites, it would be limiting but you can always buy 2 subscriptions. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the complete Thrive Themes toolbox, I can build stunning, efficient, and secure websites. It has also helped me make my website reflect my brand - the colours, of course, but also the overall tone and feel of my brand. ### 7. Not GDPR compliant & very problematic to customise. They do have great options to update branding colours across the template and font styling ect however beyond that they become incredibly problematic, making them essentially too painful to use. Their support has helped me many times however waiting a week to resolve a small issue for every page I build defeats the purpose of this 'self serve' plugin suite. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** They aren't GDPR compliant - the GA tracking code fires with no regard for cookie consent. This means you either have to abandon having analytics for your pages or abandon being GDPR compliant. I've had issues with Thrive Leads forms appearing and Thrive Architect has constant issues with updating and tweaking templates. Thrive Leads doesn't integrate with Hubspot so it's impossible to use and once again impossible to make it GDPR compliant. I have been unable to use any plugins as they all have blocking issues. I have wasted so much time on this - it would have been faster to learn to code and create my own webpages from scratch. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Themes:** Look elsewhere. It's a huge waste of time and money as it doesn't deliver what it promises. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need the flexibility to build landing pages and capture leads. Also to build and edit the design of general web pages without the need of a developer. I haven't realised any of these benefits because the plugins are constantly presenting blocking issues. The Thrive Leads component enables me to manage and add popup messages along with rules so that I can engage better with my audience and potential clients. The visual editor (Thrive Architect) is powerful and the whole Thrive platform gets updated quite frequently with new capabilities. The support service is very useful as well. I have been using it when needed and always got good replies in a timely fashion. In the past year, Thrive Themse have been hard at work in adding global tools that make creation of designs easier to manage properly and conveniently. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** Sometimes, using Thrive feels too different than Wordpress. In many ways, using it is quite a divergence from Vinyl/classic Wordpress, which is a bit sad. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Themes:** Check if this one is for you. If you want to stay closer to the Wordpress classic experience then skip. They are always there to help. I just think this is one of the best companies out there. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** Probably just the code is a bit heavy on the front end. Page speed matters and while it isn't horrible, Thrive does add it's own code. I've used the software for some time, so I'm pretty familiar with it, but I suspect the learning curve might be a little high for new users, not sure. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Themes:** You couldn't make a better choice. Like I said, this is my number one software solution I recommend daily. I don't know of any other software like it. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** Thrive is the ultimate do it yourself website tool. It solves all problems of site development for me. Rapid development, check. Unlimited design, check hundreds of templates, check marketing tools, check AB testing, check leadgen, optin, check API integrations, check membership and learning modules, check sitewide scripting, check I could go on and on, but this software has yet to let me down. Rather than having to run multiple plugins on my site, Thrive does everything I need it to. I rarely need another plugin, SEO is the only other one I use. ### 20. Starting with the themes and several other tools that make WordPress really come alive. Thrive Themes paired with Thrive Architect is something I use almost daily as a marketer. Being able to easily design via drag and drop functionality is a huge time saver. I haven't tested all the WP drag and drop content builders but I've used several and TT is by far the best I've used. Thrive Architect (formerly Thrive Content Builder) is what I like best out of the suite of tools. Other tools included in Thrive Themes include: Quiz Builder, Ultimatum (evergreen countdown campaigns), Ovation (gather, display testimonials), Comments, Optimize (A/B testing for landing pages), Cliver Widgets, Apprentice (online course builder). **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** I don't really have anything negative to say about Thrive Themes. They have continued to add functionality and usability to the software that makes it one of my most valuable web design tools. The only thing that I would like to be able to do easier is control more of the header, navigation and footer functions. It's still sort of locked down. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Themes:** If you build sites on top of WordPress you should be using Thrive Themes to make your life easier. I used to build websites via HTML and Dreamweaver. Eventually, I moved to WordPress but Thrive Themes makes WordPress development a total breeze. And their Thrive University is also confusing, too, especially if you are not using their themes. **What do you dislike about Thrive Themes?** I would like to start by saying that I have used MANY MANY MANY WordPress builders and plugins and this one is by far the worst and most complicated I have used. I realized this within the first 30 days of using Thrive Themes but beyond the 14 day trial period so I had to keep it and they got to keep my $300. And they were pretty nasty about the whole deal until I just said, "Whatever, maybe I will find use in it." I had originally purchased it because a marketer I was watching on YouTube was a huge enthusiast but then I realized it was because he got a huge affiliate commission for pushing it. The intention was to create a membership course using one of their plugins but you could not create sections for the course so my 100+ lesson course would have been utterly disorganized. Again, I figured this out after the 14 day trial but before 30 days and they still did not understand that their tools were useless to me. I also could not connect my Facebook page with Thrive Ovation so that made that plugin useless. I also tried out Thrive Headline Optimizer. I probably like this Thrive plugin the best, but even then, it was confusing to decide the criteria upon base my final headline decision (highest traffic vs highest engagement). Finally, I tried Thrive Leads but, again it was confusing, and I much prefer building a landing page in X Theme's than dealing with their complicated and constrictive builder. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Themes:** If you want to build a course, do not use them. Try Fly Plugins WPCourseware instead. And X Theme can do a lot of the stuff Thrive Themes claims to do, but at a fraction of the price and better tech support. It is important to know that the Thrive Theme plugins sound great but understand that they rarely function well and it will take a long, long, long time for you to learn how to use them. God help you if you need tech support or if you don't like something and voice it to them. **What problems is Thrive Themes solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. Lost money.
