According to by boss, this was the only accounting program available that allowed them to maintain clients and matters in the most structured way, and at the same time provided the greatest flexibility for each client and matter in the system in terms of billing schedules. It's clear that the program was designed by someone who knows exactly what attorneys want and need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My first impression working with Tussman was that it's quite glitchy when it comes to invoice numbering and generation. For example, if you happen to accidentally enter a number that's already taken, the program doesn't just notify you that there's a conflict, but instead assigns a random number (not quite random, but typically very far from what you need), and you have to cancel the bill and do it all over again. Also, when it's numbering the invoices consecutively, for whatever reason it ignores 0 as the first character and any non-numeric characters. I guess you just need to get used to this, but it's annoying. One thing that would be nice to change is to allow users to turn on and off the insert feature when correcting invoice numbers or matter info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
