**What do you like best about Tabs?**

I love the advanced AI resources in Tabs for extracting complex contractual information. It ensures timely invoicing and payment collection, offering significant accuracy and time-saving advantages. The comprehensive support and the onboarding team help maximize platform benefits seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

I think one area where Tabs could be improved is by offering a fully integrated system that allows us to create contracts and proposals directly on the platform. Currently, I have to rely on additional software for this purpose. Although Tabs integrates with multiple platforms, such as DocuSign and PandaDoc, enhancing this capability could eliminate the need for additional tools. A more thorough integration would further streamline processes and provide a more comprehensive solution.

The implementation process went smoothly, and the team at Tabs was very hands-on in helping us get up and running on schedule. Tabs continually works to enhance their platform by improving functionality and adding new features. Whenever issues arise, the support team is always quick to respond and assist with troubleshooting.

The cash application process could be improved, particularly when it comes to handling batch transactions and partial payments.

Like many startups, they don’t have a lot of prescriptive processes in place yet. Because of that, you can sometimes run into errors that likely could have been avoided.

It is such a great integration with QBO and really streamlines the Accounts Receivable / Revenue processes.  Can control so much in the app and not worry about sync to QBO.  A really great company to work with and evolve. They are very responsive to questions or needing help.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

Not necessarily there fault, but you can't manage already made invoices in QBO in TABS.

It manages Accounts Receivable really efficiently.  Saves us time that we spent handling in QBO. It takes care of billing, revenue management, and more

I really like how Tabs saves a lot of time on billing and revenue tracking. The onboarding and support teams are extremely helpful and responsive. It's easy to set up, and I appreciate the effort the team puts into resolving any bugs swiftly. The team is very responsive, which adds to the positive experience.

Sometimes there's minor bugs, but the team does a great job in making sure they are resolved swiftly.

The team behind Tabs. They are a true partner listening to our business needs and iterating useful features quickly.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

Our contracts are complex. This is less of a critique of Tab but rather an acknowledgement that our product and product is complex. There is some review we do have to do with invoices that go out. Tabs has worked seamlessly once contract set up is complete though!

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Tab to bill for hardware and software products. We went from no platform that did this to implementing something that would create and schedule invoices, help us collect payments, and help apply payments correctly.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Tabs is a robust contract-to-cash solution that can handle complex contract terms, pricing, and revenue modeling. In my experience, Tabs completes about 80% of the work required to invoice a client and match bank transactions to outstanding amounts, which streamlines a large portion of the process. Easy to integrate, use, and setup account, with responsive customer support.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

Tabs doesn’t really have any major weaknesses. The price isn’t cheap for a premium product, but for organizations operating at scale, it can still deliver significant ROI.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom contract ingestion through invoice generation, revenue schedule creation, and matching transactions to outstanding receivables. Tabs reduces the amount of manual intervention needed to generate invoices and receive payments from customers.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

We have experienced significant time savings during our monthly reconciliations and the accounting close process. By implementing an accurate, automated collections matching system, our executive team now has clear visibility into both historical and forecasted cash collections. This improvement has allowed us to shift the time we once spent managing A/R aging toward more strategic priorities.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

The implementation process does require a significant time investment from the team, which is both expected and necessary to help prevent any issues after implementation. As Tabs continues to grow, I would appreciate seeing more reporting features added.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer manually creating invoices in QBO and Bill.com, manually sending reminders for outstanding invoices, and manually matching incoming payments to the correct invoices.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

The team at Tabs has been incredible to work with. They're extremely responsive and well-trained, with a strong company culture that shows in every interaction. The handoffs between sales, onboarding, and customer service have been seamless - everyone I've worked with has been fantastic.

What really stands out is their future-focused approach to revenue automation and fine-grained revenue management.
 You can tell they're thinking strategically about how to help companies scale their revenue operations globally.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

There's definitely a learning curve if you're coming from Stripe or similar platforms. The interface and workflows take some getting used to initially but it compounds over time very quickly & 3 months in, I'm really starting to see the gains in our workflow.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tabs is helping us automate our revenue processes and gain much more granular control over revenue management. While there's an adjustment period upfront, the benefits compound month-to-month as you get more familiar with the platform.

Tabs makes invoicing very efficient and organized. I like how easy it is to create and manage products, customize invoice descriptions, and keep everything centralized. It saves time, reduces manual errors, and makes collaboration between teams much smoother.

Some workflows could be more intuitive, especially when managing service names/products across different invoices.

Tabs has helped streamline our SaaS billing and cash collection cycle! And with their new Revenue Management module - we can track our deferred balances based on quarterly and annual billings. 

They help ingest contracts to generate invoices create billing schedules, and properly recognized revenue. Items that were once manually are automated and saves countless hours!

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Love the ease of billing with options to directly integrate with Saleforce & Netsuite. Also, really appreciate the ability to connect with Stripe to provide CC payment links on invoices. The Tabs CS team is super helpful and always very quick to respond when we need assistance.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

Integration from Salesforce and/or manually uploading order forms into Tabs typically take up to a day to process before you can review and draft an invoice.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tabs matches the products listed on on order forms to the correct product/amount to draft an invoice. This helps us get invoices sent quickly and efficiently. Tabs integration with Stripe also provides a quick and easy payment link option on all invoices.

Tabs auto generates invoicing schedules and payment terms based on customer MSAs. We love how it syncs to Salesforce and helps us manage receivables. Their Slack integration is also great for user support and ongoing updates from the product.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

Tabs doesn't always capture contract exceptions correctly the first time. When this happens, they are quick to tweak the AI ingestion rules to fix this on future contracts.

There are a few additional product improvements they can make to make customization/fixes more intuitive, but they seem to be on the roadmap.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

One of the most notable features of Tabs is how easy it is to use once you get accustomed to the platform. The onboarding and customer success teams are very supportive, and every interaction during calls or through our shared Slack channel have been dedicated to making sure my team is thoroughly onboarded and engaged. Their customer success teams consistently prioritize resolving any issues promptly and always work to find practical solutions. As someone who has purchased many software tools, I find this level of support to be uncommon. Tabs truly stands out in ensuring that users are fully integrated with the platform and are able to derive real value from it.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

From a PLG perspective, I've found that Tabs integration with Stripe isn't as dependable as it is for our Enterprise contracts managed by our Sales teams. I hope this is an area they work on improving in the future.

Ease of sending invoices / auto collection reminders. Automatic payment reconciliations which sync with QBO to keep an accurate aging schedule at all times. Simple revenue reporting allows for transparent financial records.

No major dislikes. Currently lacking on detailed revenue accounting though I'm confident the product will improve on this

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Tabs saves us dozens of hours per month in billing setup and reconciliation. It’s incredibly intuitive and eliminates the need to patch together QBO, spreadsheets, and Stripe manually. Everything we need for billing is centralized in one clean, easy-to-use platform, which has been critical as we’ve scaled. The automation and accuracy give us peace of mind, and the reporting gives us clarity we didn’t have before.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

There are occasional small feature gaps compared to point solutions, but the team is quick to release improvements and receptive to feedback. The only thing I’d love to see is even deeper customization in reporting views/filters, but overall, nothing has been a deal breaker.

Repeat revenue tracking, churn management, revenue forecasting and waterfalls.

Benefits us with less time spent in spreadsheets and QBO.

We chose Tabs for their ability to extract our often bespoke contract terms and streamline the invoice creation process. The automatic scheduling and dunning workflows have transformed our cash flow management — saving us time by eliminating manual invoice creation and duplication, reducing errors, and ensuring no invoices slip through the cracks. For a fast-paced, high-growth company, this has been a game changer in helping us scale our operations efficiently and with confidence.

Their support team is fantastic — super responsive via Slack, proactive in seeking feedback, and genuinely invested in improving the product. Tabs has quickly become an essential part of our daily workflow, and we now rely on it as a core system in our operations.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

Nothing specific to call out. As a young company, there are a lot of areas for Tabs to develop into and we are excited to see how the platform continues to evolve!

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tabs is solving the pain of manual, error-prone invoicing and collections. Before, we were spending time manually creating and duplicating recurring invoices, chasing down payments, and risking errors or missed invoices altogether. Tabs automates these processes by extracting our bespoke contract terms, scheduling invoices, and managing collections seamlessly. 

The benefits have been significant: improved cash flow, fewer errors, and time savings across our operations. It’s eliminated the risk of oversight, given us confidence that nothing slips through the cracks. Importantly, it has scaled with us enabling us to support more customers without adding operational overhead.

Automation of the QTC process as well as creating a data warehouse for all things revenue/billing. 
Instead of building out an entire AR/Revenue team - this software can take the place of that with mild review and manual input.
Can take 16+ hours of manual work away from accounting teams in a 2 week span

Reporting falls behind and takes a backseat when compared to other portions of the software

But the best part of Tabs is their team. They don’t just implement and disappear—they stay deeply involved, take time to understand your business, and truly act as partners. It’s a team that’s clearly dedicated to helping their customers succeed while building a great product.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

We’ve been using Tabs since the early days, so we’ve seen some of the natural growing pains that come with a fast-evolving product. That said, their team is consistently responsive, collaborative, and committed to making sure the experience gets better over time.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tabs is helping us scale our subscription invoicing and revenue recognition without needing to significantly grow our team. It essentially supercharges our finance function—allowing a small team to handle complexity and volume that would normally require much more headcount if we were relying solely on our ERP. It’s been a force multiplier.

Our invoicing process was extremely manual before using Tabs. Now, it saves so much time in getting our invoices out monthly. It's also super customizable and I never worry about it fitting to our unique use cases.

The Stripe and tabs integration doenst do everything that I would like for it to do. The cash application process definitely took a lot of time and conversations to nail down. I have to double check reports for accuracy.

The best part about Tabs is the automated Invoice reminder emails.  This saves the team multiple hours per week and has assisted with increased collections.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

There are small issues with specific invoices, however ,their support team is always available to assist.

Invoicing! This is decreasing the hourly work that we are doing by the customer!

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Tabs solves a meaningful problem for quickly growing startups. When you're operating at an extremely fast pace, and you don't have the resources to follow-up with customers, send out invoices on your own, or chase down accountants, Tabs is a great option for now... and later! The reality is that these are tasks you don't want your Accounting or AR departments working on either, so the automation of today becomes a long-standing and viable strategy for anyone managing the platform.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

I was a user of the product within the first year of its creation, and sometimes this could be painfully obvious. To the tune of needing to contact support to add users or update their privileges, but this was quickly resolved within a month or two. While there may be growing pains involved, the team is incredibly respectful of customer and user advice / feedback, and they are doing their best to understand the use cases of their clients.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tabs is resolving the pain point and complications within AR departments; explicitly, the need to follow up with clients for payment and to automate subscription billing so it's never up to any one person to determine whether or not you're being paid out for the services you're working very hard to supply.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Tabs has completely transformed our contract-to-cash process—something we never thought possible before. It automates everything: invoicing, A/R tracking, revenue recognition, and GL entries, saving us countless hours and eliminating manual work. I can’t imagine running our business without it.

On top of that, the team is incredibly responsive, and the pace of product innovation is astounding. Features are rolling out faster than we ever expected, continually making the platform even more powerful.

Honestly, nothing—and I don’t say that lightly. Both the product and the team continue to exceed my expectations.

Tabs powers our entire revenue lifecycle, eliminating the tedious and manual processes we used to struggle with. Now, everything runs seamlessly, saving us time and effort.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Tabs is a user friendly platform that effectively helps our team manage customer billing. I appreciate that we are notified via Slack as payment from customers are received, as we are in-the-know real time. What I like most, though, is the support that we receive from the Tabs team. I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of meetings with Tabs, and their team members ask thoughtful questions to understand our user experience and demonstrate an eagerness to continue growing to best support our company's needs.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

At this time, customers who pay via ACH don't automatically log within our Tabs account. We have learned that ACH auto-tracking is possible with other systems in place; however, as our team does not use those other systems, we have to manually manage those payments as they're received. However, with some features the Tabs team has shared are on their roadmap, I feel confident that this challenge is short-term and will be improved in the future!

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a CS perspective, I primarily use Tabs for dunning purposes. It is helpful that Tabs alerts us as customer payments are received, as this helps me ensure payments are received in a timely fashion.

**What do you like best about Tabs?**

Tabs has a very logical user interface, and their implementation was very smooth with a lot of attention to detail (which is essential).  The integration with Quickbooks went well and saved us from the pain of managing invoices there, it is so much easier in Tabs.  We are a young and growing company like Tabs and implemented very early, so I feel like we are also in sync in that regard.

**What do you dislike about Tabs?**

I recognize that Tabs is constantly developing their product, and I have found it has been at a nice pace.  I really look forward to what else they can do with regard to revenue recognition, as I see that being a pain point as we grow our customer base, and must be a pain point for many other companies.

**What problems is Tabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of clients and client data has been incredibly helpful to us, as we have sub classes of billing by client, as well as rolling metrics that need to be updated quarterly for those sub classes that our fees are based on.  Tabs was very helpful in establishing these metrics in a customized way for us, as I do think we are a little off market in our manner of billing.

I enjoy how simple the product is to use.  We sent it over to an email address and it automatically appears where it needs to be within the product.  It allows us to be organized and find items quickly.  I am often on the phone with customers and able to pull and reference documents at the same time. I also like that the documents are clearly organized by different use cases.

I think the UI could look a little clear, but it's no the most important thing for the product.

The support team is prompt and courteous, and empowers us (the users) to be able to self-serve resolutions in most cases.

Once fully implemented, we saw our lowest rate of outstanding invoices, and had very clear line of sight into what was coming up. Manual errors in invoicing also went down significantly.
