"Rapidly Improving Platform with Friendly, Same-Day Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

I've been using it for close to a year now, and it's been fun to watch the product mature - new features roll out, workflows get smoother, and it's clear the team is actively listening to feedback rather than letting the platform stagnate.

Every now and then we've hit a one-off snag (as you do with any tool), but their support team has consistently been quick, friendly, and genuinely helpful in getting things sorted, usually same day.

I'm also excited about some of the newer automation features they've been rolling out, definitely on my list to dig into and offload some of our more repetitive invoicing, cash collection and revenue recognition tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

A few things that could use some polish: we've run into occasional outages, which doesn't happen too often but could potentially be an issue if I needed to get an urgent invoice out. I'd also love the ability to export just my search results rather than being forced to export every invoice each time - a small thing, but it'd save a lot of time. Lastly, because of how tightly Tabs integrates with our other systems, there are some restrictions on making manual updates or edits, which can be a bit limiting when we need to make a quick fix on the fly. "Automated Our Order-to-Cash with Tabs—User-Friendly and Backed by Incredible Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

Our previous order to cash process was very manual and time consuming. Tabs has enabled this process to be almost entirely automated, which gives us more of our time back and less risk of manual error. Our support team has been extremely helpful whenever we have an issue or any feedback for improvement. I like the UI/UX overall and Tabs is very user friendly. it didn't take much time to get used to the platform. Overall, Tabs has helped us tremendously and will continue to help us even more as the product improves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

The implementation process for Tabs was time consuming and at times confusing since we had been promised certain functionalities that didn't come to fruition. It does seem to be a bit buggy at times and we've had issues with the Salesforce sync. However, our support team is incredible and is always on top of it to help us. I do wish Tabs was more transparent about when they push out updates/changes because sometimes a process changes and we were not informed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invoice Automation That Saves Time, Reduces Errors, and Integrates Seamlessly with Our CRM"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

Invoice automation saves us not only time and effort, but also reduces human error in our billing process. The integration with our CRM made setup straightforward and lets everything run automatically, without forcing our Sales team to adopt new workflows. Support team is very responsive and proactively surfaces issues they see, which helps us troubleshoot faster and easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

The initial onboarding took a bit longer than I expected. Since this is a delicate part of our business, having confidence in the accuracy was important, but I still feel we could have started the full workflow migration sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Intuitive UI That Saves Real Time and Fits Our Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

Tabs is very user-friendly. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to onboard both my team and clients without a steep learning curve. Since I work across multiple clients as a fractional CFO, having a platform that's quick to navigate and doesn't require extensive training saves real time. It also plays well with the rest of our workflow, we've been able to build automations around it, which speaks to how well thought out the underlying structure is, not just the UI on top. "Automated, Easy Invoice Management—But Partial Payment Handling Needs Flexibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

So far, I can only comment based on my limited experience of three months working in Tabs. I like that many things are automated and also easy to edit or manage. This is especially true when working with invoices like sending them to customers, and reverting to draft, editing billing information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

I feel like it's maybe not quite flexible when it comes to applying payments - there is no way to apply a partial payment to an invoice and that makes the whole process a little more complicated and requires manual tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Invoicing with Thoughtful Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

We use Tabs to manage our revenue accounting, and it has made invoicing for complex enterprise software agreements far easier. It keeps us on top of billing and ensures customers pay our time. We've reduced our days sales outstanding and gained much better visibility into our billing overall. Tabs is thoughtfully designed and integrates seamlessly with the rest of our stack, including our sales tax automation software, Anrok, and our ERP, Quickbooks. I'm especially impressed with the Tabs Agent, which connects to Slack and gives us a real-time view into incoming payments. It saves us time and provides clear visibility into cash flow. On top of that, the Tabs team is always available for support directly in Slack, which makes getting our questions answered quick and painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

The initial setup of Tabs was a bit challenging and took weeks, working closely with their implementation team. Make sure your data is clean and reliable before you begin and be prepared to audit in in depth before committing anything into tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Invoicing, Needs Better Contract Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

I like that Tabs follows up on invoices on a regular basis and this helps with ensuring that overdue invoices are handled properly. The synchronization with QuickBooks makes the process seamless, and the payments are typically auto-applied. I also appreciate that I can pull a report on Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) easily. Being able to pull an ARR waterfall report is very nice, and once Tabs was up and running, the automatic sending of reminders for open invoices definitely helps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

Being able to delete a contract if it was entered and a change was made is lacking because invoices are automatically recorded, and it would be nice to be able to delete those if there was a change in a contract. I think figuring out a way to maneuver and clean that up a little better would be a good improvement. If an invoice has already been sent, we can't delete the contract. It would be nice if we could delete the invoice and the contract if payment has not been made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamlessly Automates Invoicing with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

I like the ease of use of Tabs, as it's intuitive and easy to figure out things on my own. The automations available allow us to set and forget certain invoicing processes, which is super helpful. I appreciate the clean and accurate reporting, giving me confidence in our numbers and the ability to find things that may have been missed. The speedy feature launches make my day-to-day tasks easier and improve the collections process for our customers. Also, anytime I have a problem, their team is extremely responsive and helps me solve it as fast as possible. The initial setup was easier than I could have imagined. "Massive Billing Time Savings with Tabs’ Intuitive UI and Smart Automations"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

There's a lot to like about Tabs. ROI being the first - we've cut monthly billing time by roughly 80 to 90%, from 10 to 15 hours across multiple teams down to about 2, and avoided hiring a dedicated AR/billing person we'd otherwise have needed. The UI is a night-and-day improvement over our old platform, which was so manual you practically needed an engineering degree to get invoices out the door - now the team just reviews, adjusts, and sends. The AI contract ingestion pulls products and pricing terms straight from our PDFs, so setup is far less manual. Integrations matter too: Tabs syncs into our ERP with GL mapping by product and revenue stream, and it held up as a source of truth through a full ERP migration. Performance-wise, the accuracy lets us run a lean team without feeling understaffed on a complex, usage-based model, and automated collections took us from inconsistent follow-up to full dunning automation. Onboarding stood out - the team mapped our edge cases, bundled products, and usage-based logic during implementation rather than forcing us into a flat model. We're performing beyond where we were 2 or 3 years ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

Very little to dislike. Some features are still maturing, but they're actively in development, so the gaps are closing fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Automation with Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Tabs?

Tabs has taken a significant amount of manual work off our plate. What used to be a heavily manual, error prone process is now streamlined and efficient. It's saved us a ton of time, improved the workflow, and increased our accuracy. The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate. The support team is extremely responsive and moves quickly to fix issues as they arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tabs?

Implementation was relatively time consuming - The revenue recognition cut-over in particular required a lot of manual validation done by my team. Reporting is another area with room to grow - The platform has a lot of really solid underlying data, but the reporting data doesn't yet surface it in the ways that would be useful for finance. I do believe they are actively working on improvements here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
