# Which objectives and key results (OKR) solutions help managers see what teams are doing and improve overall performance?

Hey G2 users, which objectives and key results (OKR) solutions genuinely help managers see what teams are doing and improve overall performance is the question I keep coming back to, since a lot of platforms in this space are strong on goal-setting but weak on giving a manager real day-to-day visibility. Betterworks, Lattice, and AchieveIt keep coming up for that specific combination.

Betterworks: Solves the lack of visibility and alignment across teams with a centralized platform for goal setting and progress tracking, helping individual work stay tied to broader priorities and making performance discussions easier to walk into prepared.

Lattice: The 1:1 module lets a manager see an employee's sentiment updates, goals, development plans, and feedback all in one view, connecting day-to-day performance conversations directly to what the team is actually working on.

AchieveIt: Automated update requests replace the chase-people-down cycle entirely, with one organization reporting their update compliance rate went from 20 percent to 90 percent after switching, giving managers a genuinely current view instead of a stale one.

Would be interested to hear whether the improved visibility has actually changed how managers coach underperformance, or if it's mostly made good performance easier to spot and recognize.

Visibility probably helps spot good performance faster more than it changes underperformance coaching, since a dashboard shows a goal's behind but not why. Where it does help is timing, catching a stalled goal early enough to actually course-correct.
