I appreciate SUSE AI's fully open-source and vendor-neutral approach, which allows for flexibility and adaptability across various platforms without being tied to specific proprietary ecosystems. I don't like that SUSE AI lacks a native, integrated AI/ML platform.

I use SUSE AI to efficiently adopt, deploy, and manage AI workloads with open-source, enterprise-grade infrastructure, solving edge AI deployment and enabling consistent AI workload management across environments.

**What do you like best about SUSE AI?**

I appreciate most about SUSE AI is its enterprise-first approach. It gives organizations the flexibility of open AI models while maintaining full control over infrastructure, security, and compliance. Especially in regulated industries, that balance between innovation and governance is critical.

**What do you dislike about SUSE AI?**

One limitation of SUSE AI is that, compared to more mature hyperscaler AI platforms, its ecosystem and pre-built integrations are still evolving. Organizations may need more internal expertise to fully leverage its capabilities.

**What problems is SUSE AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SUSE AI is solving challenges related to data privacy, vendor lock-in, and secure enterprise AI adoption. It allows organizations to run AI workloads in controlled, on-prem or hybrid environments, which benefits me by ensuring better compliance, security, and flexibility while integrating AI with existing infrastructure.

**What do you like best about SUSE AI?**

I like that SUSE AI is easy to use and has quick response times. It's reliable because I can keep prompting it without crashing, which is important for my work. The setup was pretty simple, and it only took a few minutes to get familiar with it.

**What do you dislike about SUSE AI?**

The small ecosystem could be expanded for easier adoption. I think adding industry-specific solutions and pre-trained models would be beneficial.

I use SUSE AI for market research, extracting data from large datasets, and finding relevant information quickly.

I value how easily it integrates with existing infrastructure, along with its enterprise-grade security and the comprehensive tools it offers for model deployment and monitoring. SUSE AI streamlines complex AI workflows, making it much simpler to operationalize AI projects. The quality of its support and documentation is also impressive, which really helps speed up adoption. Used regularly for AI model training, deployment, and monitoring in production environments. Straightforward to navigate and operate, especially for teams experienced with enterprise IT systems. Implementation is smooth in familiar enterprise environments, though initial setup and configuration require some planning.

**What do you dislike about SUSE AI?**

Although SUSE AI offers robust capabilities, getting started can be difficult for teams that are unfamiliar with AI or machine learning concepts. The initial setup process and the learning curve may pose challenges, and making the most of some of the more advanced features often demands significant technical expertise.

**What problems is SUSE AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SUSE AI helps us streamline AI/ML model deployment, training, and monitoring, reducing operational complexity and manual effort. It allows our teams to quickly operationalize AI projects, improve decision-making, and maintain reliable, scalable AI workloads in production. Overall, it increases efficiency, productivity, and infrastructure utilization.

It is one of the leading platform with comprehensive support documentation for the users. The forefront feature is about the privacy as it support the on premise option as well as hybrid mode which is a key desirable function for many of the enterprise users who needs to abide by privacy laws and compliance.

**What do you dislike about SUSE AI?**

It is still a growing platform whereas many of the experts are still in process of evaluation. The adoption of this platform requires critical and significant tech knowledge and expertise to deploy. Specially for new users it can be challenging in the begining.

It helps to build AI solution using scalable and secure open source infrastructure to streamline business operations and critical tasks.

These aren’t “bad” things—just areas where people sometimes run into friction.

The problem:
Companies often need to run AI workloads:

on-prem

in multiple clouds

at the edge

on GPUs, CPUs, mixed hardware

This becomes messy and inconsistent.
