We had to transfer data from a previous (terrible) payroll company that I had been going through. We also were under a deadline for the first payroll with SurePayroll. Heidi and Saundra went above and beyond excellent customer service to exceptional service to complete this! Heidi was very easy to reach and called back promptly if I had to leave a voicemail. She received my revised data very late on a Tuesday EVENING and sent the data immediately to Saundra, who input it directly the next morning. By 9 a.m. that morning, I was able to run my first payroll. The data was correct, and the SurePayroll system was straightforward and user-friendly. Heidi was available for any questions or issues during the Payroll Run. I wish I had contacted SurePayroll two years ago rather than OnPay Payroll. When/if the service works, it is a useful service for anyone trying to do the right thing and have a nanny on the books. **What do you dislike about SurePayroll?** SurePayRoll failed to make any filings or pay any taxes on behalf of our employee (nanny) and failed to notify us of this. After we started receiving penalty notices from the Florida Revenue Department, Surepayroll failed to respond, to initially admit they had done wrong and generally had terrible customer service. Finally, after sending weeks of increasingly aggressive e-mails, we were notified that they had refunded the tax payments they had withheld and failed to pay to the Florida Revenue Department on our behalf. We never received this tax reimbursement, now have to file half a year of reports and taxes by ourselves (which we had paid Surepayroll to do), and have to pay the $300+ penalties that were accrued by SurePayroll's failure to do its job. Sure Payroll allegedly has a Noo Tax Penalty Tax Filing Guarantee on their website. I would really like to see this guarantee applied to our case as their former customer before we take legal action against the company. **What problems is SurePayroll solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently ZERO BENEFIT. SurePayroll was supposed to withhold taxes and deal with the Florida Revenue Department on our behalf as a payroll provider. They were fine on the front end of making withholding from weekly wage payments. However, they grossly failed at the backend - unlawfully withholding the tax payments collected on our behalf that were never paid to the Florida Revenue Department and failing to file any reports on our behalf in Q1 and Q2. SurePayroll has failed to make good on its No Penalty Tax Filing Guarantee - they have refused to sort out their mess, they have not paid us back the tax money we paid them OR even offered to pay the penalties that have accrued because of their failure to file/report/notify us earlier of their unwillingness to do their job, and they refuse to sort anything out. I cannot get hold of anyone that will help me. I'm on the verge of taking legal action against the company for the time and money wasted in using their service. ### 19.
