EDI is a hard concept to grasp and is extremely technical (from an outsiders perspective), but once set up, it works great. **What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?** I believe any issues we have encountered are likely a result of the EDI process rather than SPS, but whenever technical issues arrise it is very difficult to suggest where the fault is coming from. SPS Commerce handles the initial setup with our customer with little to no interaction from us. The tools availble to our customer service, logistics and finance teams allow us to meet the requirements of our customers. **What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?** The time frame to setup a customer through SPS Commerce's automated connection can take several weeks or months and increases with more customer setups in parrallel. The rep that I chatted with over the course of several hours today was extremely helpful and patient. Really good customer service from that person, though they were ultimately not able to fix the issues I was having. **What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?** However, going through the setup process with a new partner has been really challenging. The item sourcing function does not map correctly to the auto-sourcing function, does not map correctly to the fields required by our trading partner for their invoices. All of this means that I'm hand entering each and every item, rather than being able to use the upload function. That would be bascially fine, if rather frustrating, but the line by line auto-sourcing option does not include an entry for Item Description, which is one of the few fields required on our invoices, which means that I have to add the item description to each and every template. It eliminated the hassle of multiple paper work. ASN are transmitted instantly. And makes the work flow of our business move quicker than other softwares. Really great program to use when it comes to distribution and ecommerce **What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?** One downside we have manage with is the lagging. But it mostly depends how many line items are actually shipping. for example if I'm shipping 10 line items. But I can only fulfill 9. I would have to manually go into each store and delete the one line item not shipping one by one. There is not a way where the line item can be deleted and just continue as a quick entry form. Come to find out the connection would not work the way we needed for it to operate properly, and now this family-owned business owes $600+ monthly for 12 months with NO account hookup. We are in ongoing discussions to have our account closed with no answer from the billing team or the sales reps who sold this to us. We are deeply disappointed and can no longer recommend them after this awful experience. 2020- SPS Commerce has been BY FAR the simplest EDI provider to use. We use the system daily for multiple channels, clients, and employees and we never have issues getting the help we need or the systems set up. **What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?** EDI has a learning curve no matter what. I wish there was a little more training on the platform when you first get started. Their billing team doesn't work closely with the sales team, so it's hard to get answers on the bill.
