They consistantly listen to feedback, add new features, and provide training for these features, such as comparative dashboards to compare AI data from one location to another. Spot AI is also easy to set up, easy to use, and easily intergrates into your business. Even if you have an older DVR, you can connect that to your Spot AI appliance in order to access the footage online. As an IT Tech, I use the cameras frequently, and reach out to customer support a lot. They are always readily avalible to help and always come up with solutions to fix the issues in a timely manner. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** Spot AI can be a bit expensive, but a lot of the features make up for this. Would be nice to have a built in DHCP router in the Spot Appliance itself. Turret & Dome Cameras can be hard to adjust the angle on when setting up. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spot AI helps our business stay secure by keeping a constant video surveillance presence on site. Spot AI also helps our business by helping us keep track of employees, helps us make sure the employees are working and not hanging out in the office, and even helps us keep track of volume of cars going through our wash and keep track of volume of customers in our stores. They now also help us with operations by showing us comparative dashboards that allow us to see the difference between locations with AI Agents, such as comparing employee presence when customers first pull up. ### 7. The customer support team has also been very efficient utilizing meetings and emails to adapt to our business needs and take feedback at every turn. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** There are some very small details that have been brought to the teams attention like a pinch to zoom function on the mobile camera application that would come in handy. The support team has acknowledged this and have plans to implement in the near future. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our business has a kiosk station that should always have a customer service attendant present to help customers through their selections and have a friendly inviting interaction. Spot AI can track the presence of people or lack thereof, and it puts all of the data into an easy to understand chart that can be quickly accessed and shared with the team at any given time to re-direct their focus and increase the customer experience. So there was a lot of up and down ladders getting them registered on the system and getting them fine tuned. If you put them on the system first and then mount them, it is much easier to fine tune them through the app. I am not a big fan of how big the IVR's are. We have some locations that dont have a building to install the IVR at, so I have to install weatherproof boxes that are big enough for the size of the IVR's plus all of other network components. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have multiple locations statewide and some locations were using different systems and werent in the cloud. So all of our locations will now be on one system in the cloud. ### 18. This ease includes from the installation right through to the end user experience. Nothing could be more comprehensive, yet intuitive and easy to use. Initial setup is straight forward and technicians were very helpful in getting Spot.ai to work with even pretty old existiing cameras that hadn't worked properly for years. Tested system with numerous different cameras and they all worked, even when some cameras were over 100 miles away and connected through a VPN tunnel. This system gets used every day. Integration with other camera systems works pretty well. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** Nothing. The insights feature allowing me to see activity in each camera's area is fanatastic to find and identify activities that need to be reviewed. I am easily able to access on my iphone as well. The search feature has worked very well being able to identify a window of time with insights and then preview video in definable time increments. I have a SpotAI window open all day. It is easy to bounce back and forth my different production areas and make sure everything is running. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** My only complaint is not having a 2x, 4x, 8x speed for reviewing video. It is less necessary than in other camera systems since the search feature allows you to breakdown video down into 1 minutes bites if needed, but would be nice. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to remotely monitor work. I personally like how quickly I can investigate and look through footage in such little time. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** There are times our cameras either do not refresh fast enough or the spotai hardware is involved but it will occasionally cut to green screen. which is unfortunate. Attempting to identify any issues was not possible. I wanted to not like the software .. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** The time it requires to sift through footage used to be an hours long affair. I dont know if spotai has any involvement but i think the picture resolution is clearer for idenifying objects and persons. thats also another thing it does well is spot anomolies within the spotai dash. When our products leave the building we can see how they were prepared and how well we packed them. If our customers let us know something doesn't meet their expectations we can check to see if there was a mistake on our end or the carrier. Similarly, if there is a safety incident or concern we can look at the footage to determine how to improve our habits in the future. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** Occasionally our camera feed wlll be delayed, maybe 10 seconds behind live. Also, infrequently our cameras will go completely green and nothing can be seen. Typically this clears out after a minute or so, but it is an inconvenience. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Recently we had a customer let us know that some of their purchase did not arrive. I was able to look at the footage of my team packing their order and determine that we sent everything they ordered. Rather than replace their product at a loss we are able to open a claim with the carrier to recover the lost items. With their development, we are working on integrating this into our business processes, such as building safety, material movement and machine status. Some of these features are still in development; however, using people counting to tell how many people are in a site to maintain safe working conditions, sending alerts when machines need attention, and an alert when a licence plate (delivery truck ) has entered a site to alert receiving saves time. These things extend the value of the systems far beyond just a camera for security. No more clunky interfaces and cameras that go down, and you don't catch them till you need them. The software notifies if a camera is down, as well as total uptime. The ability to search using a capture box on the camera feed significantly reduces footage scans. **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** Some of my existing cameras are PTZ cameras, and the controls are not available yet in SPOT, but I think they will be working on it in the future. There aren't a lot of extra options that clutter it up 2) Watching the cameras and even searching them is easy. There are even thumbnails that you can scan over to get an idea of where to find what you're looking for 3) Communication and customer support have been great. 4) The cameras they give have a clear picture and good sound. 5) You can access the cameras from anywhere! Even from a cell phone **What do you dislike about Spot AI?** The only thing I didn't like, and this isn't so much Spot's fault, is that it wasn't necessarily clear how to build a camera network. I didn't get the idea, going into this, of segmenting cameras off on a separate network. Fortunately, the Spot appliances make it easy. They have two network cards, so you can plug one cable into your camera network and the other into your main network. This has the benefit of requiring you to go through the software to access the cameras, so someone couldn't log directly into your camera if they had the IP address (unless they plugged physically into your switch). **Recommendations to others considering Spot AI:** Make sure you understand how to set up a camera network before rolling it out. Set up a separate network (you can use a VLAN on a managed switch) where you have all of your cameras plugged in. Then you can also plug one of the network cards from your Spot appliances in this separate camera network and the other network card into your main network. **What problems is Spot AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had an old camera set up with many analog cameras. It could only be accessed by 5 people at a time and they had to access it from a computer that had the software installed. Now we can access our cameras from anywhere. Also, searching the cameras could take hours to find something relatively simple. Now it's quick and easy. They are extra eyes on our environment for us. ### 40. They are excellent for indoor surveillance and acceptable for outdoor purposes, but if you need ultra-high resolution long-zoom cameras, you may want to supplement the Spot AI provided cameras in certain specific use areas. It was nice to be able to keep the older cameras which still had decent enough specs; we saved a lot in labor charges by not having to replace them.
