The email reminders are helpful as I often forget to attach a receipt or invoice. The interface is clean and uncluttered, which I find easy to navigate. I like single sign on. It's easy to navigate when you need a single-use card vs. recurring card. I like that suppliers just pop up with their logos when you enter their name in to describe your costs, making it very easy to communicate the expenditure clearly to my company's accouting and finance team. **What do you dislike about Spendesk?** It definitely required onboarding to understand how to use it as per my company policy, and even after the onboarding, I sometimes have to get in touch with the accounting team to ask questions. My only real issue was once when I had to change a card once because I had automatically gotten issued one in EUR, but it was an unfavorable exchange rate so my company asked me to get one in USD and renew a subscription I had for a tool with the subscription - that was a bit annoying. The UX is very user friendly and smartly designed. What I especially like about it: it's not overloaded with useless features but really focused on core functions that are needed in day-to-day work. Also the reminders help me make life easier for my colleagues in accounting. The approval process is very transparent and uncomplicated. Another big plus when it comes to conveniences: the virtual credit card feature which has been a real gamechanger for me. It also added extra safety to the payment process. **What do you dislike about Spendesk?** There has been one incident with the platform's stability and one with the virtual credit card's expiry date. Basically it wasn't accepted due to the date being not far enough in the future. But it seems like this has been fixed ever since. The tool also offers a variety of features that make managing many commercial matters much more effortless, for example, budgets for performance marketing or paying for one-off services. **What do you dislike about Spendesk?** Sometimes in the case of multiple transactions conducted with the same provider (for example, Google), it's a bit difficult to identify which bill to upload for which transaction. With the non-reusable credit cards, I can generate a card each time I need to make a payment, be it for recurring expenses or for one-time-only payments. The virtual cards for subscriptions with different approvers area also a very good point. **What do you dislike about Spendesk?** The main disadvantage is not being able to control (approve / reject) expenses in a Group setting in cases where more than one wallet exists. **Recommendations to others considering Spendesk:** Consider implementing Spendesk in a simplified way, for example for one or two teams for expense management and for the finance team to manage invoices (overall AP). That will allow you to quickly get the best setup on the tool and then you can onboard the rest of the team. **What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?** As we didn't have internal accounting, Spendesk was the only way we had to get a supplier current account in time. The credential of the card created are easily copied, you just need to click on it and it will allow you to paste it directly on the website, definitely Spendesk have been designed to help you gain in time and efficacity. It's common that you'll dread an email from the finance team chasing your reciepts, but Spendesk has been aware of that, and appropriately tried their best to make it a bit more of an enjoyable experience. I've especially found the app to be helpful to keep track of my virtual card and see how much I've spent, the ability to easily upload receipts, and the encouraging reminders the app sends when you need to upload a receipt. The support team at Spendesk has also been super helpful and quickly respond to any questions which can't be answered by their comprehensive FAQs on their website. **What do you dislike about Spendesk?** From what I've used, I haven't had much to fault. Perhaps there could be an option to have an intergration in Gmail where you can easily upload receipts to Spendesk directly, rather than having to forward to an email address. **What problems is Spendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?** By having an app as well as a desktop option, it's solved the problem of having to keep receipts in my wallet and remembering to email them to my company. This was our previous system, and it meant that I was constantly being chased by our finance team, but I don't blame them! I've also found it helpful that both the app and the website are user-friendly.
