What do you dislike about soona?
You have to pay to keep your products on site, which is a bit unhandy. They are lenient on this issue, but it would be so much better if there was just a more reasonable flat fee or based on the space your item takes up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recommendations to others considering soona:
They allow you to send your first product for "free." Meaning that when sending the product to one of their studios, they provide you a first-class USPS package that is relatively large and will allow up to 70 lb. Ultimately, this gives you a low risk of trying the service. The only fee is a studio reservation for around $40. I believe this is refunded if images are purchased. They provide several incentives to keep doing business with them often that allow you to have a lower studio reservation, free photos, etc. Ultimately, when giving them a trial, your risk is minimal, perhaps $60, assuming you do not like the service, which I doubt you will. You may find that it doesn't fit how you want to work, but I do not think you will regret trying the service. They are outstanding, super talented photographers that make you feel like you are part of the team. The images you get are crystal clear and beautiful. They have several scenes from which you can choose. Each booking is about two hours, you can take the entire two hours or knock off early, whatever you want. It's super flexible and a superior product at a minimal price. Do yourself a favor and try them out. To be clear, I do not work for soona, nor am I paid by them to provide this review, I have had poor experiences with other avenues to acquire images, and soona solves them all. What problems is soona solving and how is that benefiting you?
When selling online, everything is about the quality of your images. You get incredible images, quickly at a very competitive price. The pictures taken on your studio day are available for purchase at any time. This can come in very handy if you suddenly need another picture for an advertisement or post.
