# Which browser-based CAD viewer has the best performance and markup tools for teams doing design reviews without emailing files back and forth?

A review nobody can reconstruct later is the same problem as emailing files around, just tidier.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&#39;d reframe markup depth as markup resolution. In a review, what decides whether a comment survives the week isn&#39;t how many drawing tools you had, it&#39;s whether the comment is anchored to a specific component and a specific view, so that three days later nobody is arguing about which bracket was meant. A single cloud pinned to the right feature does more work than a rich toolset floating over a screenshot. Onshape being full CAD with revision history is strong on exactly that, because the comment and the geometry live in the same document, so reverting or branching keeps the conversation attached to the thing it was about. If your reviewers aren&#39;t the design team, the test worth running is whether a markup still makes sense to someone opening it cold.&lt;/p&gt;

Worth separating &quot;enough to annotate&quot; from &quot;enough to run a formal sign-off,&quot; since those need different tools.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
