I have been using it for over a year now and it makes it so quick to send and receive documents to our clients . The pricing was much better than other companies that we looked into . **What do you dislike about SmartVault?** Not able to move all documents over at one time into our shared drive .. you can only move a couple at a time . **What problems is SmartVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to have a secure document client portal where we can easily send correspondence to our clients and they are able to access and drop in documents to us. I love the fact that we receive notification when something is dropped in and I don't have to worry about checking it all the time . ### 2. Customer support is good and always at the ready when we need them. **What do you dislike about SmartVault?** It would be helpful to have a document search option directly on the client list screen (in case something was saved to the wrong file for some reason). It can also be cumbersome to add new people to current folders. It would be great if the archiving process were a little easier, especially when we have to pull the client out of archive and make them current again. **Recommendations to others considering SmartVault:** Use any free trial that might be offered to see if it fits your needs! **What problems is SmartVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a 2 click print to the the client's file to save the tax return. It saves from having to have multiple locations to save docs. ### 3. But with the help of the tutorials and their helpful tech support, it is getting better. **What problems is SmartVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have realized the benefits of going to the cloud for sourcing and placing documents. There is a delay from the time I name the vault to the time I can scroll down and find it to finish setting it up. Sometimes when I add documents to their vault, the account has to be set up again with their email and a new link sent to them. **Recommendations to others considering SmartVault:** Remind your clients that they will need to use the same email address to access the documents in their vault. **What problems is SmartVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** My students have access to their certificates of completion if they delete their emails. ### 10. If a user loses the activation link, because they did not complete it right away or they lost it, there is no way to send a new link. We have to delete the user and recreate to send a new link. This is not a big issue and does not hinder my view of the software, I just hope this will be an update in the future. **What problems is SmartVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have not encountered any problems. The user interface is professional looking and a step up from what I was using. If I create a sub folder for example and am moving files over i need to move them one at a time from the current file location to the new sub folder location. **What problems is SmartVault solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a secure way to store our files digitally and we received it through SV. I realized the desktop application for SV allows for downloads of all live vaults to your personal storage and I can easily move folders around from there! ### 34.
