**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

I appreciate the ease of use and the function of 'save and close' in SiteMax. It really helps me manage my fleet and track maintenance efficiently. Having the 'save and close' feature prevents tabs from piling up and ensures nothing goes unsaved. The initial setup was also very easy, making it hassle-free to get started.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

I wish there was a more detailed maintenance section. It would be great to have different sections for things like safeties, oil changes, and license plate sticker renewal.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SiteMax to manage my fleet and track maintenance. It's easy to use, and the 'save and close' function keeps tabs from piling up and ensures nothing goes unsaved.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

We've been using SiteMax to manage our projects and field operations for the past 7–8 years, and the experience has been consistently solid. It’s easy to use, simple to integrate, and fits well into our daily workflows.

What truly stands out is the customer support — especially Shahvir, who has consistently delivered exceptional service. He’s quick to respond, always helpful, and genuinely committed to finding the right solutions for our needs.

We really appreciate the support and the shared commitment to grow together. It’s clear the SiteMax team cares about long-term success, not just short-term fixes.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

I’m looking forward to the new form builder features with more customization options and also with the report builder feature in future.

SiteMax helps us streamline and centralize our project management workflows. It solves the problem of scattered communication, manual tracking, and disconnected tools by bringing everything — from site photos, forms, schedules, to daily reports — into one place.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

SiteMax has streamlined our operations by moving us from paper to digital for timecards, site reports, safety documentation, and equipment tracking. Their equipment maintenance program, complete with service reminders, keeps us on schedule and reduces downtime.
The platform is highly customizable, and their team works closely with you to build automation that fits your specific needs. It also provides a great way to store and access site documents, drawings, and photos.
Our Customer Success Manager is responsive and helpful, and their support and professional services teams have been excellent. SiteMax is more than just a software provider—they're a trusted partner in our business.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

The customization is limited. They are frequently updating their features (which is great) but it can mean that your requests take a bit longer because they are always implementing improvements.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteMax is helping us solve several key operational challenges that have improved our overall efficiency. The implementation of digital timecards means our teams can submit their hours in real time, eliminating delays and reducing errors associated with manual tracking. Daily jobsite reporting, equipped with a distribution list, ensures that key stakeholders receive timely updates, improving communication, transparency, and accountability across all projects. Additionally, the ability to track equipment maintenance within the platform helps us stay proactive with servicing, reducing unexpected breakdowns and minimizing costly downtime.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

Sitemax and its employees strive to update and imptove the program. We've been using Sitemax since March 2023 and have no plans to end our subscription. Creating production logs and safety evaluations is now an easy process that our employees can ue their phones for. We are no longer keeping paper copies that can be lost and result in billing issues. We can easily export projects to CSV to report production and keep track of KPIs. Sitemax is fluid in that we can easily leverage unused modules to customioze to our needs. We can easily onboard our subcontractors to work in Sitemax, while sharing resources and standardizing procedures.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

It took a while to scale Sitemax to where we needed it. Figuring out what worked and what did not was a process. It would have been helpful if Sitemax kept a directory of their clientele and the industries they occupy, steering us towards the framworks that other similar companies use might have been a good way to on board us a little faster.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sitemax is an all in one solution and platofrom to managing our projects. It is the software my team uses most. Our subcontractos/employees and the resources they need are easily accessilbe. Project managers and coordinators are no longher answering incessant phone calls about locates or drawings.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

Drawing module: though they rarely import without manual assistance.
Photo storage: easy to upload and share with others.  Could be easier to organize.
Reports: love the standard and custom reports.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

Time tracking from the mobile app is difficult. My field team finds it challenging to navigate back and forth to make sure they have all their hours entered. We'd like to see this improved, otherwise we'll have to move back to QB Time.

I would love to see a field team scheduling module. It would be great for my team to be able to log into SiteMax, see where they're headed for the week and what they're doing. The current Punch List tool doesn't quite cut it for easy scheduling. We'd love to drop Float and integrate this process within SiteMax.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteMax ensures we have the latest drawings readily available. It also organizes our RFI's, photos, and other site documents. It's a tool I was excited to bring on board and have had positive feedback in most regards.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

Site max is very user-friendly. We had been using another platform for many years and made the transition to site max seamlessly. The layout interface is superb. Onsite picture uploads from the field via the mobile app are rapid. The equipment and toolbox inventory lists are amazing. Replacing the black hole of updating spreadsheets that no one ever looks at. There is a wealth of knowledge in the database for site safety forms, with the option of creating your own and uploading. The Task ( schedule ) is excellent for creating subtasks that the crews can see on the calendar daily for the mobile app and in turn, it makes a checklist of items needing to get done that day on the project.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

Not having a Gantt view of the schedule with task dependencies that can depict the project's duration. Our company has only started out using your platform but so far, so good.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project transparency from the field to the office. Toolbox and equipment inventory. A very user-friendly platform allowing employees to use the platform. Our crews really like the instant communication tool also.

The team at SiteMax is the most valuable part of it. We have had a great experience dealing with folks like Julien and Christian, who make us feel like the most important customer, every single time. 
It feels as though a solution has already been thought up to most of our problems. The service has had no problem keeping up with our growth.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

Some updates do take time to implement fully. We have guys on site expecting instant updates as they deal with the software daily. On the administrative side of things, we can understand that these fixes take time to code and go-live.

Payroll tracking and Daily Work Records - we are happy with the functionality of SiteMax and how easy it is for our team to log vital information in real-time through an intuitive software.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

The system is very customizable (forms, payroll reports), which allows you to gather valuable information.  The system is easy to navigate through and it is organized well.  With team members working on desktop and App versions, they see no big adjustment which is always ideal to not have to learn two ways of doing the same task.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

We use SAGE 300, and with no integration between the two systems, we have to re-enter information between both systems (which leaves room for error).  I would also like to see individual dashboards that can show outstanding tasks for each user as they log in or tasks to complete for the day.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps connect the office to the site (ie. PO and daily site reports).  We like it to track user data and hold individuals accountable for a different task.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

We love the back end support and willingness to add and change features to suit our needs. Though not always straight forward or streamline, a solution is always found to resolve our issue.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

Best suited to people who are a little more tech savvy. Also preferred when I could enter employees' time by just saying "8hrs" without time stamps those hours occurred. Also would be beneficial to be able to create time entries in the future - for example, tracking upcoming paid vacation days (currently you can not create a time stamp in the future).

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee time tracking is relatively straight forward and data history has proven valuable multiple times. Ability to track projects, hours, expenses, keep record of company policies and important information all on one platform is great.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

SiteMax has connected  our field team to our office staff in a way that had been lacking prior to implementation. Sharing bulk photos out of the system has been a daily practice and site reports has been a much needed addition to our processes.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

There have been some challenges in implementing the time-tracking app for our field employees.  If the clock-in/clock-out feature is not utilized, it can make editing challenging later. Looking at an overview of the hours worked in a period could be a cleaner and clearer process.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteMax has given us more regular and documented communication between the field and office staff, meaning the project manager is staying up to date on the project and requiring fewer visits to the site.

Sometimes the software can be glitchy, and some of the provided or available features are lacking in flexibility such as RFIs, SIs, large size document uploads, overall the softwate has not changed much in 3-4 years

We use SiteMax for residential construction; it offers us more than we need to connect our field staff with our office staff. Sharing made easy. It is very user-friendly and allows us to give access to clients and trade & supply partners with varying levels of access.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

The PO and CO templates are not customizable enough for how we want to issue our POs and COs. If they could create modules that allow the customers to customize the templates, that would be a helpful feature.

Being able to connect the field staff with the office staff. The field staff can quickly access all documents via phone, tablet or laptop. Because of this, the efficiency of the field staff has increased.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

SiteMax is most helpful when it comes to sharing information that happens onsite to whom are not onsite. Upside to the program is that reports are generated into clean documents for clients and office workers to see.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

The least helpful thing about SiteMax is having non-tech savvy construction people's not being able to take full advantage of the capabilities to it. As the application is used for only reporting in our case, the only get uses are obsolete.

SiteMax is solving onsite progress and contractor tracking along with reporting. Safety reports to go along with each day where issues can be highlighted for immediate action is the best.

It provides a place to incorporate all your project needs into one location for your whole team to access instantly. Drawings, documentation and pictures can all be stored in one area and not in someone's email where you can not find the info.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

As a General Manager in the construction industry, SiteMax is a tool that would be hard to live without. The hardest thing about getting the right software is whether it accommodates all aspects of your business. Although SiteMax constantly evolves, there will always be a need to change and adapt to new requirements!! With our experiences, this has been something that SiteMax has taken on very seriously and brought forward solutions. This is not a dislike but more of a comment about the changing conditions in the world today. I hope that Sitemax continues to see the value in having discussions with all groups that use the system to continue to evolve and improve the system.

It provides our team with access to information instantly. From the job site to the office, it doesn't matter about Geographical location; it gives all the tools to problem solve, gather info and keep records of all projects.

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

I can walk around a job doing my inspections and reports directly on my phone. It eliminates the need to keep a notepad on my person. It also makes sending documents to either my office or other organizations frictionless.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

It can sometimes be a bit slow. When creating a "heavy" document (with multiple pictures added for example), it sometimes bugs out and will not allow you to save the file, making you start all over.

It helps bridge the communication gaps between workers on the field and workers in the office. Higher-ups can sign off on permits and monthly reports without the need for the field person to go in to the offcie.

Great customer support with quick reponse times.

Lack of open API makes it hard to integrate other business software that is needed as sitemax does not perform those functions.

Centralizes our project information, allows all of the employees to view nescessary documents.

by having a unified platform, our training processes have become more streamlined. New employees can be onboarded faster, as they only need to familiarize themselves with SiteMax rather than juggling multiple systems.

I do not like when I lose paperwork I don't like that I can't input into more than one form at a time we need multiple "windows" for those of us on the go working through multiple facets I need to give orientations and pull up a document at the same time

It is nice to have all the paperwork drawings pictures etc in one place accessible at all times

I like that it is so much easier to get payroll completed for both myself and our employees.
Instead of 3 days to process payroll it now only takes 1 day.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

It would be nice if there was a help button right in the SiteMax program instead of going to the internet to use the help.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to rely on filling out paper copies of forms and documents needed at the worksite.
This makes it easier on the Supervisors and makes the company more productive.

Offers a clear user interface.  Easy tabs and buttons.  Notifications are great and we are able to see our PO's, site phots and drawings in one area.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

It does not yet tie in with our contract documents, issuance and overall budget management.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our PO issuance.  We have a single source, office staff can issue and Site staff which allows us to be immediately, real-time in sync.
We can see shop drawings, Site Photos and drawing management in one place.

The SiteMax team has invested time in planning their client launches and asks the right questions to ensure the system is adapted to their needs. Their involvement during the initial investigation process was dedicated and genuine. We received hands-on information and an opportunity to review the system in detail before proceeding. We felt heard and had confidence that we would be taken care of during and post-launch.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

There are a variety of other systems out there that are more well-known or all-encompassing. It is exactly the solution we needed as we had other programs meeting those needs. As a mid-sized contractor, we often find some clients and subcontractors are not open to integrating into a different system so the more their name is recognized in the industry the better it will be for us for integrating others.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are creating more user-friendly ways of involving contacts through free external users/collaborators. This allows us to still have our project contacts set up in the system even if we integrate their responses that are done externally to the system to still allow us to have one central place for our site related data. They are creating permissions updates that allow for a massive variety in user capabilities and safeguards. They are upgrading their PDF editing capability to allow for more adobe suite level modifications/markups of PDFs.

The variety of systems that can be used to streamline and consolidate common project management challenges is an enormous asset to any mid to large-sized organization.

Less commonly used systems develop minor bugs over time with system updates. Rarely do these need to be troubleshot and corrected. This is an expected issue with any program of this magnitude.

The consolidation of time entry, safety documentation storage, safety documentation generation, progress tracking, raw entry data accumulation, team/crew organization & dispatch, and live communication channels with the field are just some of the challenges that are organized and consolidated in a relatively simple to use layout.

We like the customer service and the ease on setting up meetings to learn how to use it properly. The response time is always good and we aren't left waiting for responses.

There are a few items that are not functional in the running of a job site:
- External User Access - the limits of that they can and can't do, for instance they need access to see the drawings which we are unable to give them. I find it's not user friendly and when I have subtrades having issues I have a hard time walking them through it as what I see and that they see are different. 
- Users (Internal/External) receiving error codes with no explanation as to what it is
- User permissions changing for no reason at all with no clear answer to why this happens which creates a lack of trust in the system and constantly checking them to ensure they are the same. 
- There is a lot of repetitive processes such as needing to input the same information multiple times
- Not being able to download the information inputted into a job in one shot, we need to go item to item to download at the end of the job

It helps us share documents between the office and the job site. This is beneficial for the items that are too large to share via email. It does help streamline/organize processes such as shop drawing control

**What do you like best about SiteMax?**

SiteMax brings all the information and paperwork necessary to run a safe and proficient worksite in the palm of your hand. Being able to access historical records and real-time paperwork helps us stay up to date and maintain our "behind the scenes" business so that we can work hard in the field with the confidence that our i's are dotted and t's crossed. SM systems has worked with us diligently to adapt forms to work for us, reducing keystrokes in the field and improving record keeping in the office at the same time.

**What do you dislike about SiteMax?**

If sitemax could be better available offline to remote worksite users this could improve the reliability of access to paperwork on our remote sites. Though, we are currently just printing off the nicely formatted pdf versions of the essential paperwork.

**What problems is SiteMax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checking that our paperwork has been completed and completed correctly has historically been a pain. With the company reports generator, we can assemble all the paperwork from the day before and review it all. Based on users, active jobs, time cards and equipment used we can assess who missed signing or completing forms and work with these people to improve our record keeping. SiteMax Systems is working with us currently to develop private forms for personal records like vacation/time off applications and disciplinary paperwork.

Too many to list! Uploading all your plans into different projects. The RFI and Punchlist features are easy to navigate and keep a detailed log of your actions.

I would like to see some of the bugs still to be fixed. One being on my computer on plans I can't press the back button to see the previous plan without going to the first page of that plan.

SiteMax is easy to use and accessible on a smartphone, tablet, and desktop. SiteMax has allowed our field operations to stay organized and maintain important records of their job flow.  Also, customer/tech service is always there to help and fix any issues.

Unable to utilize the time center feature to the capacity we would need.  Disliked issues with the SiteMax app not updating automatically when Ipads update.

Safety is very important in our company and expanding the documentation to prevent injuries has been our objective. Since we began our partnership, their customer service team has been super responsive and patient as we navigated through set-up, roll-out and technical difficulties and have always taken the time to communicate any changes coming down the pipeline. We have transitioned to a company twice our original size since we started using SiteMax as our scheduling software, and have received a multitude of custom forms, permissions and processes to assist with that growth.

Like any app technology, there are downtimes and technical glitches that occur but overall the team is super responsive in getting these resolved so they are never a headache for long.

We needed software that allowed our project management team to schedule from anywhere and make changes on the fly and SiteMax has allowed us to make our team's lives easier every day saving us time and money.

There needs to be more functionality in this regard, and before renewing the subscription to SiteMax, I believe that this is a conversation that our president will want to have with your representative.
