## ServiceSkills Reviews
  ### 1. Easy Training Assignment and Progress Tracking with ServiceSkills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristy W. | Customer Service Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceSkills?**

I am a supervisor over 8 CSRs and ServiceSkills makes it so easy to assign training and monitor the progress of each participant. Each month I assign a new group of videos for the team and can monitor who is watching and who is not and also see their scores from the quizzes. My team enjoys how the videos are short and are able to work them into their weekly routine. Some sessions are 10 minutes some are 30 minutes. We use ServiceSkills videos to enhance our customer experience for our customers in the way we communicate. It is super easy to implement this training into our training processes. Also if I have any question their customer support is prompt at assisting me in anything I need.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

I really do not feel there are any downsides to ServiceSkills. The easy process of setup and assigning is great. The variety of videos and training cover not only customer interaction but also co-worker interactions.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer experience is the top priority for our company. ServiceSkills gives us a better understanding and processes to better communicate with our customers. The repetitive emphasis on how to communicate, listen, and respond are key factors to be able to assist our customers at a higher level.

  ### 2. Exceptional Customer Service Skills Training

I have exceptional experiences with this training service. The sessions are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to meet our company's needs. Nancy demonstrates deep knowledge and explains complex concepts in a clear, practical way that made them easy to apply in real-world scenarios.

What also stands out is the support provided. The team is responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had all the resources and guidance I needed. Their commitment to customer success is evident, and it made a huge difference in our ability to implement what we learned effectively.

I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for high-quality customer service training backed by outstanding support!

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

There is nothing I dislike about this course.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer service training is essential because it equips employees with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional experiences to customers. In today’s competitive market, customer satisfaction directly impacts loyalty, reputation, and revenue. Training ensures that representatives can:

Communicate Effectively: Learn how to listen actively, respond professionally, and resolve issues quickly.
Build Strong Relationships: Create trust and rapport, turning one-time buyers into long-term customers.
Handle Challenges Confidently: Manage difficult situations with empathy and problem-solving skills.
Maintain Consistency: Provide a uniform, high-quality experience across all touchpoints.
Adapt to Change: Stay updated on new products, technologies, and service standards.

Investing in customer service training doesn’t just improve interactions—it strengthens your brand, increases customer retention, and drives business growth.

Service Skills supplements our existing new hire training. The training video's help not only new hires but also more tenured call center associates looking to refresh their customer service skills.

Service Skills has an industry leading call center focus, there could be more targeted and industry specific training created in the future.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Service Skills provides a uniform framework of what " excellent customer service" looks like. This allows the call center agent to model their behavior and conversation after the video content format.

  ### 4. Super Easy to Use with Straight-to-the-Point Videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy M. | Practice Mgr., Medical Practice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceSkills?**

It is super easy to use! It has simple videos that get to the point and don't waste your time.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

Setting up the courses on the automated learning plan can be a bit confusing at first, but once you do the first one it is super easy.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping my office staff do better in their communication skills-not only with patients and referral sources, but with their peers. Basic communication and respect is something that is lacking in our society today and this program points that out, gives examples of what is wrong and how to do it correctly just by changing your tone and what words you use.

  ### 5. Helpful CSR Onboarding Courses with Fantastic Customer Support

The courses offered are helpful in onboarding new CSRs and well and keeping seasoned CSRs refreshed on customer service-related skills. The customer support is also fantastic...they are always available and extremely helpful.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A compiled source of professionally made content that I can assemble into programs and assign to departments and/or select staff members. This saves tremendous time.

  ### 7. Excellent career training for students and excellent professional development for Employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody J. | Business Technology Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2022

**What do you like best about ServiceSkills?**

"These customer service and soft skills training videos & lessons have been a game-changer for my students. They love them! The videos/lessons/quizzes are engaging and short but packed with excellent content and skills. In addition, the Human Resources Department can utilize this training for professional development to strengthen their teams and create a better workplace culture.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

Quiz questions following the video need revising. There are too many run-on sentences and questions are unclear. Too many sentences in the questions that are contradictory in the True/False questions.
Allow the quiz to be taken multiple times per day. Not on a 24 hour retake delay.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides career training for telephone skills, customer service, and team-building skills. Teaching participants transferable skills useful in any job.

**Official Response from David Friedman:**

The customer service they provide is truly something to commend. It is very hard to find great customer these days but you won't be disappointed.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

Honestly, I can't think of any. Customer service has always been great! The only issue I have ever had is some of the names of the courses don't print correctly on the certificate (maybe some kind of coding issue) but literally is only 1 or 2 of them so not a big deal.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to teach soft skills to my high school students who are enrolled in a business career tech program. It meets many of my state standards and leaves me with little prep.

  ### 24. ServiceSkills has dramatically improved our workplace culture.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel T. | Training Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2025

**What do you like best about ServiceSkills?**

ServiceSkills provides a ton of quality soft skills e-learning content in one easy-to-use platform. We are a small business so I wear many hats; ServiceSkills allows me to know that I am providing quality training for customer service and internal communication and team-building without having to build out my own content. The admin portal is easy to use and keep track of which employees have completed which training modules, and reporting on that for integration into review metrics is a breeze! If I do have any questions, the team at ServiceSkills has always been responsive and helpful, often getting me answers in a matter of hours. With everyone speaking the same language (of customer service, that is), we have a more collaborative environment and more consistent customer experience.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

Some learners find the quizzes to be repetitive. It would be nice if there were more question types than just multiple choice or select all that apply.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a growing company, one of the areas that we were lagging behind was training. Most of our training was done ad hoc by management when we got enough complaints that it became a priority, and even then it was usually just an email or quick meeting with a remonder to "not do X". Customers had vastly different experiences based on who they spoke to, so they would develop favorites they wanted to speak with, and those people were overworked while other employees had no calls coming in and nothing to do. We also had a cultural divide between our sales and accounting teams, where each side looked at the other as only trying to get in the way. ServiceSkills helped solve both problems. Customer service training has helped level the playing field with our inside sales and technical support teams, and the respoetful workplace content and internal customer service training has reminded our staff that we are all on the same team, and we balance each other out.

We recently purchased Service Skills training platform for our court staff. I cannot express how helpful they were in helping me and my leadership team understand and navigate the platform. Implementation was very simple and involved only a few short emails/meetings and a list of user names and contact information. Their team entered all of our team members for us. Customer service is outstanding and so is the long list of training videos. My favorite part so far is having access to soemone to help walk us through things and answer our questions. **Reviewed by:** Margaret S. | Customer Experience Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about ServiceSkills?**

This is the best Customer Experience Representative onboarding training tool I've used! It allows for both independent computer-based training, as well as leader-lead training complete with user guides, training guides and confirmation of learning.

It is easy to use for the learners and instructors alike. Not to mention the ease of implement and the responsive ongoing customer support.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

If I had to choose a downside it would only be that sometimes front-line CX teams experience high turnover and may need additional attrition slots. But even that is a wish list, not a dislike.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to provide consistent onboarding trainig for new hires ensures that customers receive a consistent experience during each interaction. It is also great for refresher training for someone who may be on an improvement plan as well as for annual "compliance" training to keep the skills fresh and sharp.

  ### 45. Well supported out of the box training solution for customer service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about ServiceSkills?**

From the moment I reached out to inquire with Service Skills until we implemented it within the week the customer support has been fantastic! My team appreciates how user friendly this training is, and how easy it is to work into their regular work day because of the ability to pause training and come back to it.

**What do you dislike about ServiceSkills?**

From an adminstrator perspective, the user interface could be a little more user friendly, as I managed to lock myself out of all training, however ServiceSkills was able to fix that within one simple email. The abilty to pre set training to deploy on a specific date would be the only feature that could make this training platform any better than it currently is.

**What problems is ServiceSkills solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standard customer service skills are difficult to teach because eveyrone has their own version of what they believe customer service should look like. Having a singluar training that is consistent and clear in how all customer service representatives should conduct calls on a regular basis, allows the team to become more unified.
