"DLP and URL Filtering Solved"

What do you like best about Seraphic Web Security?

Seraphic has an extremely intuitive set up process and does an excellent job of training their users on the few brief moments that can hang up first time integrations. Additionally, while we currently only use Seraphic for URL filtering and DLP solutions, there are a number of tools and telemetry options that we haven't yet scratched the surface on using. That said, the two tools we do use are easy to add or modify rules settings for, making it easy to integrate new changes in our client's environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seraphic Web Security?

As a daily user of Seraphic across multiple clients and a variety of technology stacks, we have ran into situations where additional visibility would have been appreciated. However, the team at Seraphic has always been quick to respond to any questions or issues we've run into which has enabled us to ensure a minimum amount of downtime. What problems is Seraphic Web Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently Seraphic has been effective at blocking two seperate critical malware attacks from the moment the user clicked on a malicious link as well as ensuring hundreds of other harmful sites remain out of our user's hands. We've also begun to test out and utilize Seraphic as an additional control to prevent PII and PHI from being moved out of critical applications in order to provide an additional layer of protection against data exfiltration. "Seraphic - Simple deployment, solid performance and does what it advertises!"

What do you like best about Seraphic Web Security?

Seraphic exceeded expectations for ease of deployment, performance and 'doing what it is advertised to do' (it's not often that a new product meets that third criteria, right out of the gate, when we deploy it). Without extra intervention, it grabbed hold of multiple installed browsers on our machines and protected them, and the whitelisting and policy-based management have worked without a lot of extra administrative effort. Right off the bat, it spotted both known and previously unseen threats, attacks and areas for improvement within the environment. It fills a gap between email and browser security, and ensures that the human element is better protected from vulnerabilities and flaws that result from lack of awareness, education and attention. While we still have areas in the tool that we're tweaking and configuring for our specific needs, overall, it's been nice to have a solution that just works. We've also begun deployment testing for the secure web-based reverse proxy, and it's worked without issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seraphic Web Security?

Beyond the fact that some of their functionality (such as hooking other electron-based thick client applications) is still in development and not ready for production, I really have nothing negative to say. What problems is Seraphic Web Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Seraphic protects us from both known and unknown (0day-style) browser attacks, while both keeping the browser isolated from the rest of the stack and making sure that the human element doesn't click on or follow links and embedded attacks that might otherwise compromise our security on the endpoint. We're still working on rolling out DLP policies, as we are in hospitality and have both PCI, HIPAA and other PII-specific regulations to comply with, but if that goes as smoothly as the rest of their setup, it'll be refreshing. At present, Seraphic can only protect browsers. However, I am confident that in the near future, they will expand their capabilities to include protection for similar applications such as Whatsapp and Splunk. What problems is Seraphic Web Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Due to the regulations in my country, .many organizations, there is a requirement that the fact stations do not surf directly to the Internet, seraphic solves this problem.

Beyond that, traditional solutions such as RBI are costly, complex, and impair the user experience; the Serfik is simple, quick to install, and does not require difficult changes.
