"Top-Tier Extra Security Layer with Powerful URL Controls and Logs"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

Menlo Security is one of the best security appliances. We are using this on American Express. For me, the best one is how it provides extra layer of security when users are accessing internet URLs. We can have an isolated extra security for sensitive jobs that has PIIs on their daily work. Its logs is one of our go to when checking internet traffic of our users. We can see if a site is bad or not. We can enforce it to be read, read/write, or be blocked. Its monitoring is also top tier. We are using it to check the top web sites, top users, or top threats. Its reporting is also nice. Very well made and easy to understand. But for me, the best one is the Web Logs. This is my most used feature of Menlo Security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

I have nothing that I don't like in the appliance. Maybe, I just want to add this extra feature. Feature to easily categorize an uncategorized site. We are going to another URL to make an uncategorized site to be categorized. If we can make something inside of Menlo Security to make an uncategorized site be categorized easily and see the ticket there, and not going to another URL, that would be great. "Industry-Leading Browser Security and Email Link Inspection"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

Menlo Security delivers industry-leading browser security and email links inspection, protecting users as they access external websites. The Menlo Admin GUI console simplifies monitoring of logs and troubleshooting, thus, not requiring for complex configurations or advanced expertise. With these, it provides clear visibility into browser activity and security events, which helps to confidently manage risk while maintaining best user browsing experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

There is very little to dislike about Menlo Security, as it adds a powerful layer of protection to user browsing. On rare occasions, website categorization may be affected due to third-party limitations, however, Menlo Security responds quickly to address and resolve these issues. "Transparent and Seamless Browser Isolation with User-Friendly GUI."
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

What I like most about Menlo Security is how easy it is to manage and how seamless it is for end users. The admin console is simple and intuitive, so rolling out policies, monitoring activity, and making changes is straightforward. It doesn’t require a lot of day-to-day tweaking, which saves our team time and makes managing it much easier overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

There is very little to dislike, but the initial setup and regional routing can require some fine-tuning, especially for organizations outside major regions. This may cause minor website behavior differences during onboarding, though it’s not a major issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration and Effortless Protection"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

The solution integrates seamlessly with the end-user environment. Once deployed and fully implemented, it operates transparently with no user-experienced friction, enabling protection with a single click while maintaining normal workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

In some cases, third-party sites or partners require source IP whitelisting to permit access. Because Menlo Security is cloud-hosted, obtaining a definitive list of originating IP addresses is not feasible. In these scenarios, we typically bypass Menlo for the affected use case. "Great Protection Without Slowing Us Down - Menlo Security"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

What I like best about Menlo Security is that it keeps our computers safe when we use the internet. It opens websites in a safe place in the cloud instead of directly on our computer. This means if a website has a virus or something bad, it cannot reach or harm our system.

It also works very fast. When I open websites, they load normally, and I do not feel any delay. Most of the time, I don’t even notice that Menlo Security is protecting me in the background.

Another thing I like is that it helps stop phishing and dangerous links. This makes it easier for our team to work safely without worrying about clicking the wrong website.

Overall, Menlo Security makes browsing the internet safer, easier, and worry-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

One thing I dislike about Menlo Security is that sometimes a few websites do not work perfectly. Some pages may look a little different, or certain buttons may not work the same way as usual. This can be confusing at first.

Also, sometimes files take a bit longer to download because Menlo Security checks them first to make sure they are safe. This is good for security, but it can slow things down a little.

Another small problem is that it can take time to learn how everything works, especially for new users or administrators. There are many settings, and it can be confusing in the beginning.

Even with these small issues, it still does a very good job of keeping computers safe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical Web Security That Works"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I like how Menlo Security stops modern web threats while keeping things simple. It protects against zero-day attacks-threats that exploit unknown or unpatched vulnerabilities. By Isolating web content in the cloud, threats never reach the user's device. This approach delivers strong security without sacrificing user experience or adding complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

There's a small learning curve at first, especially for new users. With regular use, the platform becomes easier to navigate. Over time, it feels intuitive and fits well into daily operations, menlo logs information is very useful and easy for your daily operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Cloud Based Proxy with Remote Browser Isolation Tool"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

The functionality of the product fits the business requirement. It is also flexible with other requirements such as fixed egress IP, as well as work from office or work from home scenarios, while providing additional security like web isolation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

We initially had a challenge with the sites like google or youtube having foreign language, as the cloud proxy instance used is from the cloud. However, Menlo is responsive enough to add a local egress IP to correct that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Security, Effortless Deployment"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I find Menlo Security very easy to deploy and manage, which gives a faster time to security and lowers the operational burden on IT and SecOps teams. It offers powerful threat prevention capabilities, making the organization more resilient to security threats and reducing the likelihood of ransomware and other threats. This limits business disruptions and reduces the cost and complexity from a security operations perspective. Additionally, I enjoy a great customer support experience, which provides faster resolution of issues, smoother deployments and upgrades, and less risk of potential misconfigurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

At this stage, everything is working well for me and the organization. Something that could be considered in your roadmap perhaps is the better flexibility integrating with different platforms/tools. Fairly easy, maybe we could streamlined configuration for complex environments as a potential improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Security That Lets Our Lead Generation Team Move Fast and Stay Protected"
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

As a lead generation professional, I use Menlo Security on a daily basis for research, marketing activities, and prospecting. What I appreciate most about Menlo is how transparent it is—it doesn’t interrupt or slow down my workflow, which is critical in my line of work. At the same time, it gives me strong confidence that my data and browsing activity are well protected. I can do deep research and explore multiple sources without constantly worrying about security risks. Overall, Menlo strikes a great balance between security and usability, which makes it easy to trust and rely on every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

While Menlo Security works well overall, one area that can be challenging is occasional website compatibility and performance issues, especially when doing high-volume research or accessing less common marketing tools and data platforms. Some sites don’t render perfectly or require extra steps to function as expected, which can slow down lead research and prospecting workflows. In rare cases, file downloads or interactive elements can feel less responsive than a native browsing experience. These issues aren’t frequent, but when speed and efficiency matter, even small interruptions can be noticeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong web security without disrupting users."
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

What I like about Menlo Security is that it does its job quietly in the background. It significantly reduces the risk from web-based threats without constantly interrupting users or blocking sites unnecessarily. From an operational standpoint, it's reassuring to know that even if a user clicks on something risky, the threat is isolated and does not reach the endpoint. Deployment and integration with our existing security setup were also straightforward, which made adoption easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

One area could be improved is visibility during troubleshooting. Because Menlo works quietly in the background and handles threats transparently, it sometimes requires a deeper look into logs and policies to fully understand certain access behaviors. While this adds a small learning curve for administrators, it also reflects how thorough and controlled the platform is when it comes to protecting users. Once familiar with the workflow, investigations become more manageable and consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
